Ardi frowned, "No, my other sisters and I are staying at another inn. Why?"

"In that case… Let's get a room first and we can talk there instead," I suggested.

"What's this?" He asked, keeping his sight on Ardi. "Are you planning on selling out Em as well?"

I shook my head quickly, "No, no. She's err… My sister and she's a Mercenary. We haven't met for a few years already and I don't believe she knows the situation. Could we get a room so we can explain to her? Emilia would be coming by later as well."

Maurice stayed still for a few more seconds, as though trying to decide if he should believe me or not.

Eventually, he reached under the counter and pulled out a key before handing it to me.

"Go up the stairs at the end of the bar. Last door at the end of the corridor."

I thanked him and went as he directed, beckoning to my group to follow me.

It was only when I entered the bar did I remember how problematic this place was again.

I nodded, "That's right. They want to stop her from coming back to get revenge on them and take back her ship."

The older Amrap then turned towards Delmare, "Ok… So where does she come in?"

"I may have skipped the part where we were first stranded on an island and we ran into Delmare and her sisters who sheltered us for awhile before we managed to steal a ship to sail over here."

Damn, I'm only just realising how complicated this small vacation has become and it hasn't even been a month either…

In the end, I just went ahead and told Ardi the entire story of how we ended up here.

First it was supposed to be a normal vacation… Then we got involved in a mutiny before we were stranded on an island where we found a group of estranged Sirens who were cut off from the outside World. We then fought a pirate group to steal their ship, another pirate group to rob them, before robbing a merchant and fighting off a pirate hunter.

Now we're at this island where Emilia got betrayed again and we're once again stranded on said island…

Right as I finished telling Ardi the story, the door to our room swung open and Emilia burst in with her sword drawn.
