Emilia led me into what looked like a bar that was filled to the brim with people.

There were people of different races drinking, eating, shouting and even fucking inside.

Yes, I'm not kidding on the last part.

There were girls being fucked, guys being fucked and also futas getting fucked all around the place.

Some of them were obviously consensual with how they would kiss their partners, an action I already learnt was only meant for the ones you wish to spend your life with.

Others were clearly not that consensual with the collar around their neck and a line of people paying coins to someone to have a turn with them.

I idly wondered how people could continue eating and drinking normally when there was a couple banging away on the table right beside them.

I guess that's just the norm around here.

Emilia ignored the sight and went up to the counter, knocking on the wood to get someone's attention.

A middle aged looking Merman crawled out of the pool of water behind the counter and climbed onto the chair, his brow raising slightly when he saw Emilia.

"Hello Maurice," Emilia greeted him with a nod. "I see you're still stuck here and as lonely as ever."

"Hmph. I don't suppose you're here to tell me I won the bet?"

The two of them suddenly turned to look at me and I tilted my head at them quizzically in response.

Emilia smirked and shook her head, "No, she's my… Client. I'm afraid I'm still single and most likely will continue to remain so even after you retire."

The Merman snorted, "At the rate this is going, I doubt I would retire even when my tail starts to lose its colour. Anyway, what are you doing here, Em? I'm guessing the fact that you're using that lousy sabre instead of your usual sword and also dressed in that getup means you're travelling incognito? Unless you actually lost your sword and your ship?"

Oh yeah, Emilia had also switched out her katana for a normal sabre since according to her, it was a dead giveaway to who she was if she carried it around.

Also, it seems like Emilia and this guy had a history for this guy to be close enough to call her 'Em' instead of her full name, though I have to wonder just what kind of relationship they had?

Emilia scowled at him, "If I lost my sword, you definitely won't see me in such a nice mood."

"Hmph, that's what I thought. So you lost your ship then? And now you went back to piracy again?"

"Again?" I couldn't help but blurt out.

Emilia sighed, "Yes, I used to be a pirate before I took over my parents' ship. They weren't going to just hand over the ship to me, I needed to prove I had the capabilities to control it. So I took a ship out and became a pirate to prove to them that I had what it takes. Took only about a year before I returned with almost as much money as they would have made in three."

"And she roped me into it too. I can't believe I was that stupid back then," The Merman complained.

"Hmph, you say that now but didn't you make a lot of money too? You could already retire right now if you wanted to."

"And live a boring life staring out at sea? Not a chance. Even manning this counter is more interesting. Besides, this place would collapse without me here."

Hold up… If I remember correctly… Emilia took over her ship when she was thirteen years old… That means she was a pirate captain at twelve? Damn… She really is a prodigy.

"Anyway, back to business," Emilia interrupted my thoughts, her hand reaching into her coat to toss a sack on the counter. "First things first… We came across two pirate captains. One of them should have a bounty, no idea about the other one though."

The Merman untied the sack and emptied its contents on the counter, revealing it to be two severed hands.

Eh?

Shouldn't those be given to a Guild branch for us to collect the bounty? The fact that she's taking it out here…

"Wait… This is a Guild branch?" I asked.

The two of them looked at me weirdly again before Emilia pointed to the wall.

I turned and sure enough, there was a plaque with The Guild's symbol etched on it. That means Maurice is actually a Guild staff?

Oh… I thought this was just a stereotypical pirate bar or something… My bad.

Maurice took the two hands and arranged them in front of him.

"I ask the world to grant me sight, let me see the state of existence and observe their worth. [Analyze]."

Oh~ That must be the magic that Emilia was talking about where they can see the status of things~ That's cool~

"Hmm… Red Sabre Calder? Never heard of him but he has a bounty alright. A hundred Creas," Maurice mused.

He then moved to the other hand and repeated the spell again.

"Hmph. Jack? Well, I've never heard of this one either so both of them might not have come here before. Also has a bounty. Twenty Creas."

The Merman then got off his chair and went back to the pool of water, diving into it without a sound.

I turned to Emilia, "Where is he going?"

"To get the bounty money of course. No way they are keeping anything worth more than a Decrea out here when there's literally pirates not a metre away from us."

Oh yeah, I almost forgot what kind of place we were in.

And as though hearing us, two Inugami men walked up to us from the bar side of the Guild.

"Aren't you two fine lasses? Never seen you two before, are you new here?" One of them asked, not even hiding the fact that he was staring directly at my chest.

"If ya want a guide around the place, meself and ma brother here would be perfect for the job! All we ask is a good o' nice blow from ya~" The other one chimed, his eyes glued to my ass.

Emilia raised an eyebrow at me, silently asking if I wanted to handle them.

I turned to face them and leaned back a little, granting them a better view from the front, "Oh? How gentlemanly of you two. But are you sure the two of you should be so far away from your mommy? Why don't you go back and find her before you get abducted by some bad people?"

The Inugami on my left scowled, "Hey! We're just being nice here! We were even thinking of showing ya a good time too! The two of us together have made many girls scream between us before!"

I rolled my eyes, "Scream out for help, no doubt. How about I give you two a Crea each to fuck off?"

Now it was the one on my right's turn to scowl at me, "Hey now. You're new here so you probably don't know how things work around here. You may be some big shot on your own ship but here? We operate by different rules. We're already giving you a lot of face by not being demanding to you."

I tilted my head, "Oh? That was not you being demanding? I'd hate to see what your demanding tone is like then. Anyway, we're not interested, so why don't you go find someone else to disturb?"

The one on my left spat at the floor in front of my feet, "Fucking skank. Ya think just because ya face is a little pretty we're not afraid to mess it up?"

I turned to look at Emilia, "I'm pretty?"

The Nekomata rolled her eyes, "If you want to beat them up, Lady Aster, do throw them out when you're done. It's not good to leave them inside and bother other people. Just don't kill them, ok? Even murder is frowned upon here."

The two Inugamis cracked their necks and raised their fists.

"Looks like we'll just have to beat you up and have our fun with you afterwards then."

"Don't mess her face up too much bro, I'd still like something nice to look at when I'm fucking her mouth."

I noticed that not many people were even paying attention to us. The ones that were looking here were just enjoying the show.

Well, when you're in a town that's filled with pirates, I suppose such an event was commonplace.

The two of them tried to attack me from my sides, both of them looking especially confident in themselves.

I simply took a step forward and delivered an uppercut to the pirate on my right, knocking a tooth loose and also knocking him out.

My other arm was raised and I parried the blow from the second pirate, the Inugami only had time to widen his eyes in surprise before my other fist sailed towards the side of his face, sending him crashing to the ground.

"Hmm… Throw them outside the door will you? Thanks."

I turned back to see Maurice back in his chair again with a sack of Creas on the table, not even surprised to see two guys collapsed on the floor.

Now I'm glad that we left Odeta and the Sirens on the ship instead if this was something normal here.

I think Odeta would have just grabbed their heads and crushed them…

Ugh… I'm just glad my lewd banes have yet to materialise yet or it would have been even more troublesome…
