NEW

(Gravity Magic Lv1) / (Space-Time Magic Lv1)

I spent one point on Gravity Magic and three on Space-Time Magic.

Gravity Magic lets me control a target’s gravity, but I have to touch it. Right now, the uses I can think for it are to make my sword heavier when I slash with it, and attach it to bullets as an effect.

Apparently Time-Space magic serves to control the flow of time within a specific space. For example, I can make things in a radius centered around me move slower.

But at such a low level, its effect lasts so little that it’s basically unusable.

And that’s not even the biggest problem. The real problem is the MP it uses. It needs a whopping thousand MP.

I currently have a total of twelve hundred because of my job, but that means I can’t use it more than once. And I would need four skill points to level it up that way.

I’ve tried using it, and from the looks of things, I’d need to use it about fifty times to level it up through proficiency.

Even with Natural Recovery Boost, it would probably take me about an hour to use it a second time.

I could try to use it frequently and level it up that way, but then I wouldn’t be able to use magic, or any skill that uses MP in general.

“What’s wrong, Sora?”

Chris’ voice brings me back, and I notice everyone’s looking at me with worried expressions. I guess they just finished their bath.

“Master, your face is scary.”

Says Hikari while poking my cheek.

I pat her head, and tell everyone about the new skills I learned.

“Well… I don’t think there’s much you can do about it. I have never even heard of such magic.”

Says Chris with a sparkle in her eyes.

She really likes magic. Not as much as Yor though.

I don’t think words are enough to explain this, so I take a bath, and after we eat and I recovered enough MP, I give them a demonstration.

I have Rurika and Hikari enter the range of space-time magic, and signal for them to move.

Then I activate the magic, and their movements become slower, but it only lasts about five seconds.

“How was it?

“I didn’t really feel anything.”

“Yes, it was normal.”

It sounds like nothing really changed from their point of view.

“Rurika, you were moving more slowly.”

“Yes. For just a little, but you two were slower.”

Say Sera and Mia, and Rurika and Hikari tilt their heads.

“Maybe the people affected by this magic don’t feel it.”

Chris calmly analyzes it and looks at me.

“I could tell that you were moving slower. It might be different as it levels up and the effect lasts longer.”

I guess I really do just need to level up.

Maybe I can get through it by chugging mana potions, but their effect weakens if I drink them one after the other.

And even the best mana potion I’ve ever made only restored about two hundred MP…

If I’m going to make a superior mana potion, there’s a high potion that restores more HP, but not an equivalent mana potion. The same goes for stamina potions.

Then… I guess I should create it?

What about combining potions like I did to make the full potion?

I don’t have the MP to do that now, so I’ll give it a try when I recover completely.

I should try to pick more magic energy herbs starting tomorrow, so I can also start making more mana potions.
