Keith checked the notifications as he rushed towards his destination in the middle of the night.

It was quite dark, and he was surrounded by his Aura Beast Avatar as he ran in the air, high enough that he found no obstacles in his way.

"It's considerably higher than before," Keith saw that he had received 200 more Fate Points for killing Sunaina. When he received the quest a few weeks ago, it was 1000.

{Your actions resulted in a change of Plans for Samrath, and Sunaina's Plans of Destiny changed as well.}

"I see." He nodded. "Show me Samrath's information."

"So he has decided to participate in the Trials." He smiled. "And he is not going to hide his identity."

His eyes narrowed as he realised what this meant.

Yexuan was planning to impress people rather than excavate his revenge on Mondini and Solanari. And it also meant that he would not be killing people in the Trials.

According to the Plans of Destiny, from the future that Yexuan returned from, Alana was meant to be abducted by Solanari after her Special Physique started awakening, and there, she would be subjected to a miserable life.

By the time Yexuan would become strong enough to rescue her, she would be long gone from the hands of Solanari, having been secretly sold to Mondini by the wife of the Head of the Solanari, who feared that her husband would set her aside and take the girl as his wife. After all, no one could match Alana in her talent and beauty.

Yexuan was not going to meet Alana again, not on Gaia, and the next time they met would be in a tournament in the Lower Heaven, where Alana would be representing her Sect.

After a happy yet short-lived reunion, where feelings were about to sprout between the two, unfortunately for Yexuan, he was going to watch her get slain by her opponent in the finals.

He was too weak in that timeline, and her death was what pushed him to fight against the Heavens themselves and get his vengeance on the person who killed her.

Keith knew that Yexuan had returned in Time for two reasons. The first was Alana, whom he wanted to save this time, and the second was to change his Destiny.

Yexuan had realised that stepping into Godhood was impossible for him, given his average talent and Ashaya heritage. He was not blessed like those who possessed Bloodlines, Special Physiques, or outrageous Talents.

He was not like Amelia Jane Mourntale, the Sacred Architect, the one blessed by the Divine Laws, the one he had come to admire and hold some feelings for in his heart. But they were individuals destined to lead very different lives, and he knew he could not be with her and did not even qualify for her to pay some attention to him, much less consider him as her romantic partner.

It was the reason why the moment he got his hands on the Blood of the Divine Dragon, he did not hesitate to end his life and use the Steele of Time & Space to return to the Past.

However, the Plan of Destiny Keith had read in his dream was null and void, and he knew that things had not turned out the way they were meant to, not even in the timeline Yexuan had just returned from.

One thing that was certain was that Yexuan was not a Child of Destiny in the Timeline he had returned from, but Amelia was. And since he was always meant to deal with the Children of Destiny, he was sure that he had married her in that Timeline as well.

There was zero possibility that he had killed her.

The Sacred bond of Marriage that bound them was blessed and witnessed by the Divine Laws themselves, including the Divine Law of Time, and he could feel that he would have never killed her in any timeline as they were always meant to be together.

It was also why despite her being a Child of Destiny, their Sacred Wedding had gone without a hitch, and why she had not even felt herself minding the idea of forever being bound to him.

There were invisible strings binding them to each other.

"Let's go." Keith sat in the pilot's seat and then started on the system.

A couple of minutes later, they were on their way to return to Magic City, and Keith planned on reaching the destination before the morning breakfast.
