Chapter 77 38: Playing In The Forest!

Shortly after their date, the trio began to head towards the forest in the east because Lucifer told them about the orcs and where they came from. Irina wasn't in contact, most likely unable to walk like Estella, so he let them be.

"Will we be okay?" Lephalia asked, holding her shield and sword, a little apprehensive facing the orcs without help from Irina's magic.

"Don't worry~ big sister Gwen will protect the cute little Lephalia," Lucifer said, chuckling while they kept walking forward. "It won't be long before we return; it has been some time since I was in action."

This trip to the forest was him checking up on the current progress of the Orc's situation.

He wanted to be sure they hadn't already replaced the last leader, and he wanted to loot the items left at their camp stolen over the past few months from the merchants they killed.

When they arrived at the forest, it was not yet dusk. Still, the trees had begun thickening, allowing much sunlight to cover the grassy lands. However, as the land started to get denser and denser, a dark shroud blocked out the natural light, providing an atmosphere that would cause many humans' anxiety levels to rise.

Yet for vampires, it was heaven, the forest just as bright for them either way, as the animals and monsters seemed weary due to the sheer aura that came from Lucifer's body since he increased his body's capabilities. He didn't have complete control of it to shroud his strength and make himself look weaker.

"It was around 10 minutes to the east of here...." He muttered, looking to his right to see where they had been attacked a few nights before.

While Gwen was walking in her beautiful armour and carrying a spear, she was glowing with a slightly green light in her eyes as she used a detection spell; However, vampires could see living creatures easily; sometimes monsters developed special evolutions or abilities to hide from the naked eye of their predators.

"Did you find anything, Gwen?"

"Mmmm, I found a cute bunny..." Lephalia said as she held a massive white rabbit with a huge horn.

"Uhm..."

Lucifer looked at her with a bitter smile because that wasn't a cute rabbit. It was a monster called the Demon-Horn Rabbit, known for being vicious and not caring for its enemy. It would fight to the death using a deadly leaping stab.

'So how did she manage to grab it so easily? Is it because raccoons are similar to rabbits?'

Gwen had wandered off but was too focused on the cute Lephalia to notice, "Did you manage to grab it without getting hurt?" His soft voice caused the girl to pout as she rubbed her cheek against the rabbit. "Master~ why don't you believe in Lephalia? It's a cute rabbit. Why would she get hurt?"

With her fluffy raccoon ear sticking out from the helmet's opening, she giggled, causing Lucifer to look at her dumbly as he thought, 'I am probably being too protective.'

"Hehe~ at first, it jumped at me to hug me, and I was a little rowdy, so I grabbed her by the neck, and she became nice and well-behaved."

Lucifer wanted to speak, but the moment he was going to tell her, A huge body smashed into the tree beside him, "an orc, with its eyes and genitals chopped off... As a fellow brother, this death makes me feel his pain."

*Thud*

A second and third flung in an arc and slammed into the ground, their skulls sinking with a crack with the same damage as the first one... "Wait... where is Gwen?"

He looked forward to seeing her dancing through a group of orcs and goblins, using her spear to mercilessly kill them, while he was suddenly distracted by the rabbit, its little eyes looking at him for help while letting out small sounds. It seemed that Lephalia was strangling the poor thing as she hugged its neck tightly.

"Lehpalia, the poor rabbit, cannot breath....."

"Momo can breathe easily... she likes to be choked! Like that strange woman who visited your bed last night!"

"..."

The rabbit, desperate to deny it, shook her head sadly. The raccoon girl was adamant before she started to spin the rabbit around in rapid twirls before Lucifer noticed something pop-up in Lephalia's status.

[Animal Tamer]

[Title: Tyrant Master of Raccoons, Bane of Rabbits]

The title above her head also said the Tyrant Master of all Racoons and Bane of Rabbits. It seems that this rabbit was too unfortunate. Not only did it seem to have been tamed, but it likely felt its Master was too fearsome.

'Poor rabbit....' Lucifer watched as the rabbit was getting spun, his eyes feeling pitiful, as he saw its consciousness was going faint as it lost its strength.

'Ah... it seems we need to change a few things.' Lucifer looked at her apologetically and chuckled before picking up the rabbit and throwing it over his shoulder.

Finally, the pair arrived where Gwen was panting, her body covered in red, blue and green blood from the various monsters as she looked at her husband holding Lephalia's hand and with a huge rabbit sleeping over his shoulders.

Her face looked like it had a million questions and complaints, but she stayed silent, leaning back and taking deep breaths as her chest moved greatly under her armour.

"Haa.... husband, why have you increased the number of beast girls around you? Is it some fetish you developed? Should I let my pubes grow wild?" As she finished speaking, she smiled brightly, asking him out of the blue; Lephalia giggled and pulled on Lucifer's arm, "Is that true, Master?"I think you should take a look at

Lucifer didn't respond and began to help look at the dead monsters, sending most of them to Gwen's storage space while keeping a few things for himself. There were plenty of orc ears, hides and fangs, and goblin ears and claws.

Most of it wasn't needed, but there were a few rarer pieces, so he kept them, especially goblin horns.

There were several dozen bodies here, all scattered among various locations, but none had been overly damaged; one simple piercing wound through their neck was it.

'Gwen's skill is improving rapidly... The limits of this world no longer apply to her, and she becomes this amazing...'

"There seems to be a larger camp around 350 metres northeast," Gwen said, her mouth seductively drinking from her water flask, letting half of it clean the blood from her body.

'Ugh... I cannot take it anymore...' He stopped staring as his eyes moved up to Lephalia, the girl, smiling brightly with the rabbit on her head, "Are we going back?"

He then looked to Gwen and opened his mouth, "Let's go check it out; I don't want to linger in the dark forest too long; there is evil here that does not sleep... and I am not yet strong enough to easily deal with it alone."

"Evil? Like goblins and Orcs?"

"There are far stronger things than these tiny fellows roaming this forest; to kill them takes not just raw power but experience, intelligence, planning, forethought, and determination, even from a vampire." He spoke slowly while turning away and walking northeast.

"S-Stronger things?" Gwen and Lephalia asked him quietly as their feet carefully approached the rough terrain with many broken tree branches.

"Yeah, there are beasts that can take down a dragon should it find itself in their territory in the darkness."

"Eeek...." They cried out together before clutching Lucifer's arm as tightly as possible.

"The sky... has gotten much darker..."

After traversing over 300 metres northeast, the sky turned blacker than usual. Perhaps it was due to the tree density in this place or the fact it was only 6:00 pm, and the sun hadn't set yet, but the sudden darkness had made them afraid to approach further.

"Come on, ladies, let's head back. We can check the orc camp in the morning; let's not push our luck here. That bastard in the east won't show up for a while anyway."

His voice relieved the women's hearts as they left, not wanting to suffer from the dangers of the forest before they could become proficient enough as a trio to take out the monsters living here.

On their way back, Lephalia killed 12 wolves using her rabbit; she would put it on the ground, then kick his little ass and say, "Attack!" "Jump!" "Dance!" the command to dance was for when it killed a wolf and ended the battle... It seemed Lephalia had some weird hobbies and thoughts.

When they reached the village, Lucifer took the orc meat and remains to the guild, which paid him in turn, there were many quests on the board, but right now, he wasn't too interested in adventuring.

'I want to date Gwen and Lephalia, but that guy's even should start soon, from the forest's darkness. I need to be ready.'

After returning to the inn, Lucifer needed to pay an extra amount to cover the cost of the rabbit's food and having an animal sleep in their room, but now it was so adorable that most couldn't believe it was the horned rabbit.

"Phew!"

Sitting down on the large bed, Gwen sat beside him with a graceful movement, her arms massaging his shoulders despite it being her who had worked so hard today.

So he pushed her down, face first, into the pillow as he gently massaged her tight muscles.

"Mmmm~ thank you, darling, my back is killing me."

"No problem. Is there anywhere you want me to apply pressure?" He asked, focusing on her shoulders and neck, her groans more erotic as time passed.

"Nnnn... deep inside me."

"...."

Meanwhile, on the floor, a raccoon girl was using strange moves she copied from Lucifer on the poor rabbit.

"The Lephy cutter!"

As he watched her slam the rabbit face first... he was reminded of a certain American Nightmare and felt a sense of wonder...

'Did he finish that story in the end?'
