Villain Ch 105. Between A Woman And A Girl

Allen couldn't help but glance alternately at Zoe and Shea as they began to dig into their dinner. They seemed so at ease with the luxurious meal as if they were used to it.

Zoe was the first to take a bite and savored the flavor of the beef ribs. Shea followed soon after, a small smile gracing her lips as she took in the rich taste of the special sauce.

'Right… They are rich people, Allen,' he reminded himself.

He started to eat. Despite the fact that it was the tastiest food he had ever tried, Allen managed to keep his composure. He took a small bite of the beef ribs, savoring the flavor, and then followed it up with a spoonful of the smashed potatoes.

As he ate, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer extravagance of the meal. He had eaten at fancy restaurants before, but nothing quite like this. The food was so delicious, and the presentation was flawless.

As the three of them continued to enjoy their meal, Shea spoke up. "So, Allen," she began, "are you up for going online together after dinner?"

Allen glanced at the clock on the wall. He knew that he needed to take a bath before he went online, but the thought of sitting in the same room with Shea and Zoe while he was only wearing a night robe made him a little uncomfortable.

"Yes, I think," he said, hoping that they wouldn't mind.

Zoe smiled, clearly pleased with his decision. "That's great! We can get started right away."

As Allen finished his meal, Shea got up from her seat and gestured for him to follow her. "Come on, I'll show you where my gaming room is," she said, a hint of excitement in her voice.

Zoe immediately stood up as well. "I'll bring my VR device," she added, grinning eagerly.

Their words made Allen turn to Shea and Zoe in turn, a look of surprise on his face. "Wait, you guys have different gaming rooms?" he asked, taken aback.

Both Shea and Zoe nodded as if it was the most normal thing in the world. "Of course," Shea said with a smile. "We like to have our own spaces to play in."

Allen couldn't help but feel a little shocked by their apparent extravagance. He had never heard of anyone having a separate gaming room before, let alone two people in the same house.

Shea led Allen through the house, they passed by a grand staircase that curved upwards, leading to the second floor. Then she led him down a hallway, and finally, they arrived at a door marked "Gaming Room." Shea opened it and gestured for Allen to enter.

As he stepped inside, Allen's eyes widened in amazement. The room was massive, with high ceilings and walls lined with shelves full of gaming memorabilia. In the center of the room was a massive desk with multiple monitors and an impressive gaming setup.

"This is amazing," Allen said, looking around in awe.

Shea smiled. "Glad you like it. We take our gaming seriously around here." She walked over to a closet and opened it, revealing a neatly organized array of gaming equipment. She rummaged through it for a moment before pulling out a new VR set.

"Here you go," she said, handing it to Allen. "I have the Hell's Gate game installed in this one already. You can use that gaming chair over there to get online."

Allen took the VR set from her and examined it, noting the intricate design and high-quality construction. "Thank you," he said appreciatively.

Shea smiled. "No problem. Let me know if you need anything else."

Allen made his way over to the gaming chair Shea had pointed out to him. It was a sleek black leather chair, with all sorts of buttons and knobs on the armrests. He settled into the gaming chair and donned the VR set. Since all he needed to do was scanned his retina so any VR headset would not be a problem.

The installation process was simple, and he plugged it into an outlet nearby, and the VR set hummed to life. The screen lit up, and he could see the main menu of the game. It was an easy installation. It either could be played using Wi-Fi or with internet quota. It also had a long-lasting battery so it could be used anywhere and anytime.

He smiled to himself as he put on the headset, adjusting it until it felt comfortable. Then, he heard the door to the gaming room open once again. He turned to see Zoe, followed by a servant pushing her gaming chair into the room.

"Hey, Allen!" Zoe called out, a big grin on her face. "I see you're all set up and ready to go!"

Allen nodded and smiled back. "Yep, just getting started."

Zoe chuckled. "I'm glad you decided to stay. Mind if I sit next to you?"

"Of course," Allen said.

Zoe walked over to her chair, which had all sorts of cool gadgets attached to it. The servant behind her helped to get her set up, and soon she was ready to go as well.

The three of them put on their VR headsets and entered the world of Hell's Gate. As they closed their eyes, the room around them disappeared, replaced by a new landscape. They found themselves standing in the midst of the Cursed Crypts.

But instead of facing the gates, they found themselves in the NPC room. The three of them had left their characters here last time, after spending some time leveling up their cooking skills and experimenting with different dishes to raise their stats. They had even managed to cook a few valuable dishes that they could use to get temporary status.

They ended up making some Banana juice herbal tea which could add their INT by 1 point and Spicy Steak which could increase their STR point by 3 for one hour. It was all they could make for the time being using ingredients from the NPCs and some herbs they found around here. They also got a lot of burned dishes out of their cooking skill failure of course. Which they had thrown away.
