Villain Ch 68. Hit And Run

Allen, Zoe, and Vivian stood at the entrance of the Tower of Power, the ominous structure looming before them like a foreboding giant. The trio had been here before, and as they made their way through the dark stone corridor leading to the tower, it was as if they were transported back to yesterday.

The passage was barely lit, and the flickering torches that lined the walls cast eerie shadows that seemed to dance in the darkness. The air was thick with the musty smell of ancient stones and dampness, making it difficult to breathe. They made their way deeper into the tower, the atmosphere grew more oppressive.

The horde of zombies emerged from the shadows, welcoming them. Their rotting flesh and sharp claws signaled their aggressive intentions. But the trio was ready for them.

Zoe quickly unleashed her tentacles. Her tentacles emerged from her back, writhing and flailing as they reached out to strike the zombies. With lightning-fast movements, Zoe used her tentacles as lethal weapons, grabbing and squeezing the zombies until they burst apart. Her tentacles were powerful and versatile, allowing her to attack from a distance and keep the zombies at bay.

Despite being a middle-range fighter, Zoe was also skilled in melee combat. She possessed extraordinary strength, just like a seasoned swordsman,

While Vivian hung back, assessing the situation. Unlike Zoe and Allen, she was not a typical melee fighter. Instead, she relied on her quick wit, manipulation skills, and long-range attacks to take down her enemies.

Using her charm and seductive powers, Vivian was able to distract the zombies and cause them to turn on each other. Her attacks were deadly, and she was able to take down multiple zombies at once.

In close combat, Vivian relied on her speed and agility to dodge the zombies' attacks. She wielded a whip in her hand, which she used to keep her enemies at bay. Her whip was her primary weapon. Her movements were swift and precise, allowing her to strike her enemies with deadly accuracy.

The battle was fierce, but they managed to prevail. Passing the first floor was easy for them due to their level. Their only problem was the number of monsters they encountered, and their lack of area skills. Most of their skills were still in tier one. However, they knew that once they could unlock the second tier, they would gain new and better skills. Skills that would help them in their battles, from skill areas to the skills they could use to duel.

As they passed through the portal to the second floor, Allen managed to reach level 25. This was a significant milestone for him, as the monsters here were far more challenging than those in the Underwater Dungeon.

A blinding light engulfed them, and the scenery around them changed in an instant. The cold, damp atmosphere of the first floor was replaced by a more sinister and eerie feeling. The walls of the corridor leading to the entrance were covered in dark, slimy moss, and the air was filled with a putrid stench.

Zoe and Vivian's demeanor changed. They were tense and their eyes darted in all directions, surveying their new surroundings. The environment was vastly different from the first floor. The air was colder, and the lighting was dimmer. The walls were made of black obsidian, and strange glowing symbols adorned them. The place had an eerie feeling, and it sent shivers down their spines.

"Relax and concentrate," he said in a calm but firm voice. The air was thick with tension.

"Remember, Ghouls are easy targets," Allen reminded them, his eyes sweeping in all directions as he spoke. "But Ghost is bad news. He can hide, so be on guard."

Vivian piped up nervously. "What if we encounter higher level monsters?"

"We will try to deal with it," Allen said with confidence. "There are three of us, we should be able to manage. We will use hit and run tactics if necessary," he instructed.

Zoe chimed in. "And this boss floor? Do you plan to deal with it?"

"We're just going to check it out," Allen explained. "If possible, we will fight it. If that's not possible, we will concentrate on hunting only." He knew they were still low-level, but he couldn't resist the urge to explore. Checking out the boss floor shouldn't be a problem as long as they didn't get caught.

The group nodded in agreement, steeling themselves for the challenge ahead.

As they started to walk, Zoe and Vivian were still nervous, their eyes darting in all directions as they scanned their surroundings. Just like yesterday, they didn't plan to wander too far from the portal.

Allen walked ahead, leading the group with his eyes and ears on high alert. Soon, they heard the sound of shuffling footsteps, and before they knew it, two Ghouls appeared before them.

"I don't think we could use your previous tactic," Zoe said, her voice laced with skepticism as she adjusted her tentacles, readying for battle.

Allen's eyes narrowed, his mind racing as he considered their options. "Then we will use the hit and run tactic," Allen declared, his voice steady and confident. "Just make sure we attack them from three different directions," he instructed them once again. He was sure it was enough to take the monsters down. They were skilled players after all and he already knew how both of them fought.

Zoe raised an eyebrow, impressed by Allen's boldness and she nodded in agreement.

"Sounds like a plan to me," she said with a nonchalant shrug, her tentacles twitching with excitement.

Allen turned to Vivian who had been uncharacteristically quiet throughout their discussion. Her expression was solemn, but there was a determined glint in her eyes.

"Can you do it?" Allen asked, his voice filled with urgency.

Vivian met his gaze with a resolute nod and prepared her whip.

"Fine," Allen said, his gaze returning to the horde of Ghouls looming in the distance. "Let's take them out."
