Villain Ch 38. Unexpected Meeting

He made his way to the bathroom and took a quick shower, letting the warm water wash over his body, relaxing his muscles and preparing him for the day ahead.

Once he finished, Allen wrapped a fluffy towel around his waist and made his way to his bedroom. He selected his favorite workout clothes, slipped on his black sneakers, and was ready to head out the door.

Before leaving, Allen grabbed a simple pre-workout snack, a slice of wheat bread with peanut butter and banana slices. He knew the importance of fueling his body before a workout, and this snack always did the trick for him. He also made sure to bring a bottle of protein shakes and two boxes of protein powder for Gerry. They were on sale, and Gerry had asked him to buy them a few days ago.

His gym bag was slung over his shoulder. A black leather jacket hugged his broad shoulders.

Next, he reached for his helmet, a matte black one with a tinted visor before Allen made his way down to the basement of his apartment building where his motorcycle was parked. He straddled the sleek machine, feeling the powerful engine thrumming beneath him. He turned the key, feeling the bike roar to life, and revved the engine a few times before speeding off into the streets.

Despite the rush hour traffic, Allen expertly weaved in and out of cars. People turned their heads to watch as he zoomed past.

Less than ten minutes later, Allen arrived at the gym. He parked his motorcycle in the designated area and removed his helmet, shaking his head to free his hair from its confinement.

Allen pushed open the doors of the gym and stepped inside, greeted by the familiar scent of sweat and metal. The gym was massive, with floor-to-ceiling windows on one side that let in the morning light, illuminating the sleek machines and equipment that lined the walls. The floors were polished to a high shine, and the walls were painted in shades of dark grey, giving the space a sleek and modern feel.

He walked up to the reception desk, scanning his membership card to enter. The attendant, a young woman with bright brown hair and multiple piercings, gave him a friendly nod and a smile before returning to her work. Allen made his way through the gym, the sounds of weights clanging and people grunting filling his ears.

As he walked through the weightlifting area, he spotted Gerry on a treadmill, his body glistening with sweat as he ran. Gerry had a very sleek, tall, and athletic appearance. He was often seen wearing a tank top and matching shorts that fit his toned physique perfectly. His black hair was well-groomed and styled neatly, adding to his overall sharp appearance. His brown eyes were intense and focused, indicating his dedication and commitment to fitness.

Once Gerry spotted Allen out of the corner of his eye, he hopped off the treadmill, his chest heaving with exertion as he wiped the sweat from his forehead with a towel. "Hey man, good to see you," he said, grinning at Allen.

Allen smiled back. "Thanks." He gestured to Gerry's new workout clothes, a sleek black tank top and matching shorts that hugged his body in all the right places. "Looking good. Did you get some new gear?"

Gerry nodded, running a hand through his short black hair. "Yeah, I just picked these up yesterday," he grinned.

Allen laughed. "Well, you definitely look the part. So, did you bring your A-game today?"

Gerry nodded, his eyes gleaming with determination. "Always. Gotta looks cool," he joked.

As they made their way, Gerry suddenly turned to Allen, a serious look on his face. "Hey, did you bring my protein shakes?"

Allen nodded, patting his gym bag. "Got 'em right here. But we'll have them after we're done, okay?"

Gerry frowned slightly but nodded in agreement. "All right, sounds good."

After that, Allen and Gerry concentrated on their workout, pushing themselves to their limits with heavy weights and intense cardio. Sweat dripped from their foreheads as they grunted and groaned, the sounds of their exertion filling the air.

Finally, after what seemed like hours, they finished their workout and made their way to the shower area, stripping off their sweaty clothes and stepping under the hot water.

After they dressed in the locker room, Allen reached into his gym bag and pulled out the two boxes of protein powder that he had picked up for Gerry earlier. "Here you go. Two boxes, just like you asked."

Gerry's face lit up with a grin as he took the boxes from Allen. "Thanks, bro. You're a lifesaver." He pulled out his phone and opened his mobile payment app, transferring the money to Allen's account with a few quick taps. "There you go. Payment sent."

Allen checked his phone, confirming the payment had gone through. "Thanks."

Gerry nodded, tucking the boxes of protein powder into his gym bag. "For sure, man."

Allen and Gerry finished changing and headed out of the locker room. They chatted excitedly about their workout routines and plans for the week ahead. Allen made sure to steer the conversation away from the game he had played, knowing that Gerry wasn't much of a gamer and wouldn't be interested in hearing about it.

As they walked out into the gym area, Gerry's eyes were immediately drawn to a woman who had just finished a Pilates class. She was stretching her toned, lithe body on a mat near the wall, her long, dark hair falling in waves around her face.

"Damn," Gerry muttered under his breath, his gaze fixed on the woman. "She is beautiful."

Allen gave him a playful nudge with his elbow. "Maybe you should go talk to her."

But before Gerry could respond, the woman in question suddenly stood up and turned towards them. Allen quickly caught a familiar face.

"Allen?" she said, her voice laced with surprise.

Allen's heart skipped a beat as he recognized the woman standing before him. It was Larissa.
