Chapter 31 - Episode 32: Origin of Asteal

1071, Bofith Valley

It was raining outside. Nobody is in outdoors because of the massive rain. There is an unknown woman carrying two babies. She know that somebody was looking for her and even if she runs, she will get caught.

"What will I do? This is just impossible for me. I'm sorry but I have to do this for you, Lina. Goodbye, Lina and George."

The woman puts the baby to a random house and she then runs away. Soon enough, the killer sees the woman and the killer runs after her. The killer passed the babies because it only focuses on the woman. The woman then runs away from the village.

"I may not come back for you. But please have a good life and reach your dreams." The woman as she flees to the village.

George starts to cry in front of the owner's door and the owner hears him crying. The owner then opens the door...

Name: Maple Nagma

Age: 31

Power: Odd Power (Deadly Blood)

Birthdate: 1040

Power Rarity: Unknown

"A baby? Oh my God, where are your parents? She must've left them here. Your parents must be worried or they tried to get away from you. They might be a good parent that tried to defend you though. What's your name?"

Maple Nagma then tries to get any of the babies's name but she can't find any. She forced to name the babies as she want to due to their unnoticed name.

"What should I name you, guys? I assume one of you is a girl and one of you is a boy. I can't really think straight. So, when I give you a wrong name at the right age where I recognize your gender, sorry. I'll name you guys Asteal Nagma and George Nagma."

They now have a new name. Either though if Asteal's real name is supposed to be Kira but it doesn't matter. George however have the same name. Odd Coincidence. They also have the same age and the same birth date so nobody's going to be older or younger.

1078 (7 Years Later...)

"Look, mommy! I have my water power! Now I can control it just like mommy can control the wind."

"Wow! Your powers are impressive, Asteal. How about you, George?"

"I can only use fire. But I think the fire is too small for me to defense myself. *sigh* maybe I should skip today's training."

"Nonsense, George! Don't be like that? Never give up like I did with this power! You can do it!"

"I'm sorry, sis. But I just can't. I've been training my powers for one year and still nothing changed. Maybe I should just use this to burn up woods and maybe use it to cook."

"George, don't be like that. Some time, I will make sure that you reach your dreams to become a warrior in the kingdom. I will never stop supporting you!"

"Thanks, mom. I better start this training."

"That's the spirit, George! You just have to keep working on until you get the powers you deserve. Let's train!"

While both of them are training with their mother, a person behind a tree sees both of them. The person is impressed of their hard work on getting there.

"I'm sure you'll reach your dreams, Lina and George. Oh, I've heard that her name is not Lina anymore. Alright, Asteal it is."

The person then walks away to the village. She's still alive in the present day but nobody know who she is. She's been living in her house and she haven't had any friend. But, she had one friend. and her friend is: Alex.

It's been years and their powers are getting better and better. When their age is 16, George tragically died in a dangerous place caused by two kids from his school. The two kids then gets a sentence of ten year jail. Later however, Maple adopts another kid named Velence.

Age: 9

Recent Parents: Unknown

Birthdate: 1078

Velence is very close to Asteal and they become best friends. Every six month, they visit the cemetery to see George's funeral.

1082 (Four Years Later)

Velence is now 13 years old and he can control his powers. Asteal on the other hand is 20 years old. She wanted to become a warrior once day and then this happens...

She was walking to the store buying foods like bread and apple. When she walks, a man then sees her and he had a plan to steal her stuff. He instantly grabs her food and he runs away like an asshole.

"H-hey! That's my food! Grr! Waterark!!"

She sees a pond of water and she controls it. She then uses it to throw on the thief. Yet, the throw is too high and the water passes his head.

"Haha! You're powers are pretty neat! But you can't even hit me because you're so bad at using your own power."

"Who said I wanted to throw the water to you?"

The thief then gets curious but he slipped to the floor due to the water. Asteal comes to the thief and she request to hand off the bag of food to her.

"Here! Here you go, mam! I'm sorry I steal your food! Please spare me!"

"Sheesh. You're such a puny little thief. Alright, I'll spare you. But stop acting like a embarrassing loser."

"I'll do what you want!"

The thief runs away from Asteal. She then retrieves her food and she walks over to her home. A girl then sees her fighting and she knew she could count on her with that power. Asteal is actually a strong girl, she just doesn't know her powers yet. The girl then came to her..

"You're Asteal Nagma, aren't you?"

"Y-yes? Are you looking for me. I just got my food from a thief though."

"Good. I saw you trying to catch that thief with that power of yours. Have you ever heard of Kryogremn?"

"K-Kryogremn?! Don't tell me that you're.."

Sorry if this chapter is really short. I tried to make a 2000 word chapter but I'll make it up when we get to the real part. The next episode is going to be just a little bit longer than this but it will bring out good story.
