Chapter 198 77: First Date

Lanza's body wrapped around Lucifer, tightly holding his hands, her wings folded before her lips pressed against his cheek as they walked around the city, bustling as the night shift began.

"You know I am very impressed you thought of this idea Lanza."

Lucifer's arms wrapped around her shoulder as he placed an arm around her hip, underneath her soft feathered wings, stroking her soft, curvy waist.

"Mmmm, you spent many lives in the human world, where they would have clubs and night activities. So I thought, why don't the vampires have such a tradition? Many races are born into the darkness and only feel pain or lethargy in the sunlight..."

Countless people passed by them, not noticing who they were thanks to the magic cast by Lanza; she didn't want to be disturbed as in an hour he would go to meet that black lizard girl for a date, and her time alone with him was limited.

'You're still a wonderful woman... I am impressed by how hard you worked.' He thought, taking his steps slower to match her stride.

Lanza smiled from ear to ear at his words, delighted as she almost skipped for joy. Finally, they approached the shop she wanted to find, "The Bloody Jewel", a store she helped open with one of the cute maids who was knowledgeable about gemstones and minerals rather than fighting or serving.

The Bloody Jewel was a grand and opulent store in the heart of Lucifer's vampire city. The walls were lined with dark, richly coloured gems, each one more beautiful than the last. Rubies, sapphires, and emeralds glinted in the dim light, their deep hues giving the store an otherworldly feel.

Lanza and Lucifer walked hand in hand through the store, their eyes scanning the glittering jewels on display.

She secretly waved off the assistant who knew her by face, as Lanza spent many nights here before Lucifer came home, preparing the gift for him and letting the assistant maid deal with the process that took over a month.

Her heart fluttered with excitement as she led Lucifer through the store, eager to show him the beautiful treasures that lay within.

As they walked, she couldn't help but steal glances at him, his white hair and crimson eyes making him look like an otherworldly being. She couldn't believe she was his lover, and the thought made her heart swell with love.

"Look at this one, my love," Lanza said, pointing to a necklace made of deep red rubies that sparkled like drops of blood. "It would look stunning on you."

Lucifer smiled, his eyes lighting up as he looked at the necklace. "It's beautiful," he said, his voice soft and full of admiration. "But not as beautiful as you."

Lanza blushed, her heart fluttering at his words. She leaned in close to him, her lips brushing against his ear as she whispered, "I have a special necklace I want to give you. A symbol of my love for you."

Lucifer's eyes widened in surprise, his heart pounding with anticipation. "I can't wait to see it," he said, his voice low and filled with desire.

As they continued to move through the store, they paused to admire other pieces, but the focus was on the special necklace that Lanza would give him.

'I wonder what she had made for me, this girl... Hasn't she already done too much? Hah... Let's reward her tonight after taking Zeppa home.

The air around them was thick with the electricity of their attraction, and the other customers couldn't help but stare at the beautiful couple. The way their eyes met, the way they touched each other softly, the way they whispered to each other in hushed tones, it was clear that their love for each other was deep and true.

Finally, Lanza led Lucifer to a small, private room at the back of the store. Inside, a single display case contained a necklace unlike any other in the store.

The dazzling box seemed to pale compared to the beautiful silver chain, each link of the chain with a small pair of "L's" linked together, both cute and tasteful in the handwriting that Lanza used to write for him all those years in the past.

She used her own angel's blood to help form this gemstone and a vial of Lucifer's blood taken before he died in the past life.

The dark golden gem was affixed to a beautiful silver cross, with red rubies at each tip, before the centrepiece gem that was neither tacky nor too flashy; the dark gold glimmered with a soft inner light, filled with a delicate, swirling pattern of a red blood trail and the golden path that seemed to dance around each other until finally meeting in the centre.

Lanza slowly opened the case, the loud click resounding in the quiet room as she lifted the necklace with a slight jangle of the metal and silver cross; normally, this might affect a vampire, but Lucifer was different, and this would make him look cooler.

"It's made of my angel blood," Lanza said, her voice soft and filled with emotion.

"I wanted to give you something as unique and special as you are. I wanted to provide you with something that would always remind you of my love for you and the bond we share. It's a symbol of the eternal love and connection that exists between us."

Lucifer looked deeply at the necklace in her hands with a faint smile. He felt his heart beating faster and was flattered she would go this far for him, watching as the silver necklace sparkled and glinted. "I'll treasure it always," he said, his voice thick with emotion.

Or so Lanza thought.

She slowly brushed his hair aside before wrapping the cool silver chain around his neck, the cross dangling between his chest as the golden light seemed to alternate between gold and crimson the moment it touched his body.

With a click, she fastened his necklace before her soft lips pressed against his, stepping away with a blushing face.

Lanza began to speak with a passionate and serious face while her hands reached out and held Lucifer's face to look into her beautiful, shining eyes.

She looked into his eyes, her lips smiling with happiness. "I love you," she said, her voice filled with love and affection.

"I named it Morning Star."

"The moment the light finally reaches the dark world and brings forth an illuminating light."

"Lucifer, to me, you are that light, and I want to stay within your brilliance until I die forever."

"I love you too," Lucifer replied, his emotion-filled voice. The two of them shared a tender kiss, the sparks of their love lighting up the room like stars in the sky.

As they left the store, they were lost in their world, their love for each other burning brighter than any gem in the store. The Bloody Jewel was a reminder of their love, a symbol of their bond, and a treasure they would always cherish.

The necklace was a physical manifestation of the love between an angel and a vampire, a shining example of the beauty that can be found in the darkness.

For the next hour, Lanza and Lucifer spent time roaming the city with their hands entangled, his love for her only growing deeper than ever before.

At the same time, she experienced the life of a regular girl that never happened in the past, buying drinks together and eating soft fluffy cotton candy made with sugar by an elderly Arachne with fluffy grey fur.

The pair finally stood near a large fountain; soon, he needed to meet with Zeppa as promised, yet, his attention was all on the beautiful angel with lovely blonde hair and blue eyes, her little head resting on his chest, stroking along his abs with her fingers.

Although a happy moment, Lanza suddenly looked sad and began to flutter her pretty eyes, a downcast look before her trembling lips opened.

"Darling... The battle will start soon; you know they can kill you, right?"

"Ah, I will be careful... Don't worry..."

Her sad face slowly began to cheer up; she knew it was unlikely, but now that several existences had noticed her power, the gods of this world wouldn't let someone who could challenge their authority get involved.

'I am not strong enough to kill all the gods on this planet yet... Let's get stronger, kill them all and donate this plant to my husband... Look at his beautiful reflection in the water... Hehe~ he kissed my head!'

Lucifer's strong hands enveloped her, lifting her into a princess carry; she didn't panic or flail. Her trust in this man was beyond that of herself, thus resting in his arms, her soft fleshy ass and hips feeling his strong, muscular arms sinking into her as she let out a sigh of pleasure; his embrace was so comfortable for her.

"I'm going to end our date by taking you home. Let me rest your beautiful wings tonight, My cute wife, Lanza."

Swish! His black vampire wings fluttered in the sky before they gently hovered, a huge moon in their sights as it lifted above the horizon.

"Lanza, this was our first real date without sex; I am sorry it was so short and brief..."

Her hands grasped his coat before shaking her head.

"No, it's not the length... You accepted my necklace, kept me company and helped soothe my worries... What else could I ask for? Hehe~ not to mention my lower body still feels sore from last time...!"

Thus, the two lovebirds floated across the night sky until he placed her into bed in his dark, grand castle and left only after she entered a deep sleep.

His face was no longer relaxed but filled with concern about the future.

'I need to get more powerful, enough to kill the gods and let Lanza rest easy on this planet. She doesn't need to fight for me anymore, I just want to let her take it easy and enjoy life as a woman... maybe one day as a mother.'
