I followed Mu Huainan into the car. This time, I didn't choose to sit in the front seat, but curled up in the back seat with my backpack and a few bags of dishes beside me.

It was late in the day and I didn't know when I would lose consciousness and fall asleep.

I slept like this in the car all night, dizzy and sore.

But then again, there seemed to be no one who was worse than Mu Huainan.

He felt sorry for himself for a few seconds, then he rubbed his eyes and got off the car. The garage was not big, but there was a staircase that led to the basement.

I wasn't surprised at all. After all, it wasn't the first time I knew that guy was as rich as a kingdom.

Outside the garage was the backyard, and as I carefully stepped out onto the oily green lawn, I looked around and saw that it was empty and quiet, not devoid of any sense of home.

There was not a single flower in that huge courtyard. All he could see was the empty lawn, without any signs of life.

I tilted my head and looked at the house. It had two floors and an attic. The design was simple, and the walls were black and white.

He was so clean that he didn't even have a basic sense of humanity.

I yawned, thinking that this was really Mu Huainan's way of doing things, even the house was so quiet.

I went out into the front yard, where the huge french windows faced the living room without curtains, beige leather sofas, white chandeliers, and no TV set.

Mu Huainan sat on the sofa opposite his, reading a newspaper as his white shirt casually unbuttoned two buttons, revealing his beautiful collarbones. He was casual and lazy.

He looked just like a painting. I stared at it for a long time. Just a second before my saliva was about to fall off my mouth, I pulled my horse back and tried to calm myself down.

He couldn't help but want to shout towards the sky, "Could it be that every time I sleep, I'll see a different Mu Huainan when I wake up?"

Which one of them was the real him!?

The sunlight in the yard was blinding, and after a while my back got hot from the sun and I didn't have time to think about it, so I went up the steps and knocked on the window.

Mu Huainan lazily raised his eyes, seeing me, he slowly stood up, closed the newspaper and placed it down, then walked over to me.

As his bare feet stepped on the ground, his black pants revealed his ankles. Even with such ordinary attire, it was still mesmerizing.

If I didn't know what kind of person he was, I would have definitely listed him as the most secretly beloved male god in the girl's diary.

The window opened and Mu Huainan stood in front of me as he spoke in a neutral tone.

"He woke up."

I nodded, but he actually had a pet name to add to it.

"Pig."

If it was my previous self, I would have definitely let the other party know what tears were.

But now, I can only swallow all my displeasure and smile as I approach.

"Whatever godfather likes to call me, just call me."

Mu Huainan could not help but be startled, and look at me with a deeper gaze.

"I just want to ask, are you going to work at the company today? It's the weekend, if you don't need to work, then I'm going back."

Mu Huainan looked at me but didn't say anything.

"If there's nothing else, I'll be leaving first."

After I said those words, I turned around. I wanted to escape from this place quickly, but who would have thought that in the instant I turned around, my arm was grabbed by the person behind me.

The next second, I felt powerless, because Mu Huainan easily pulled me into the living room and threw me on the sofa.

It was as easy as throwing a toy.

My heart was pounding so hard that I was afraid the guy would pin me down on the couch and do something I shouldn't have done. I quickly curled up in a corner of the sofa, my eyes full of caution.

"I'm a minor."

I was glared at by Mu Huainan in disdain. Then, as he passed me, he warned me fiercely.

"Sit down."

I sat up straight on the couch, in my standard position.

Mu Huainan went upstairs, and after a while, he came down with a stack of documents and threw it in front of me.

He threw over a pen and calmly said, "Sign it."

Even though I was young, I knew that I couldn't just randomly write down my name. Wan Yi accidentally sold herself, so she cleared her throat and said seriously, "I want to see what this is about."

This is an agreement for the transfer of property.

The gist of it was that all the shares owned by my father, including the properties, stocks, and investments of the Lu Family, that were all related to money, would all be transferred to Mu Huainan's name. Only then would he be able to repay the remaining debts.

When I saw this, I put down the contract decisively and said firmly, "No."

Mu Huainan leaned on the sofa and closed his eyes to rest.

"Keep watching."

This contract makes me feel extremely aggrieved. It is obvious that he is taking advantage of the situation to sneak in. How is his behavior any different from that of a bandit? Once I sign on it, it will mean that the Lu Family will have a sexual relationship with me. My parents' struggle, and even the sacrifice of their lives, is meaningless now.

I finally understood why Mu Huainan helped me out so kindly. He was only using small amounts of money to let me down my guard and achieve his objective!

I bit my lips and tried my best to suppress the urge to cry. After calming down for a moment, I could only hold back my tears and continue reading through the contract.

It was written in the contract that before I became an adult, Mu Huainan would be in charge of my living and living, paying tuition and all living expenses. He also allowed me to stay in his house, and when I became an adult, I would only be in charge of my tuition and school expenses. Mu Huainan retained 20% of the original shares, but the effective period of this contract was also from the age of 18 all the way to adulthood.

In other words, since I signed this contract today, it means that I have sold myself. In the future, I will have to look into the eyes of others every day.

The hand holding the contract trembled slightly. I looked at the man sitting opposite me out of the corner of my eye. My heart was filled with pity.

I took a deep breath and continued reading. The last article said that if I could repay all the debts I owe to Mu Huainan in my lifetime, then the authority of Lu Group would return back to me.

I looked at the word debt and sighed.

I have to help my parents pay their debts when I return, and pay Mu Huainan's debts when I become an adult in the future. I can probably foresee the future of my life and I will probably have to guard these two words.

The contract was finished. The rest were the balance sheets of my dad's company and the lawyer's explanations.

Probably reminding me that if I don't sign, then the debt behind my butt is more than enough for me to spend the rest of my life in prison.

When he looked up, he couldn't hold back his tears anymore.

I didn't cry this fiercely when my father died, because I felt that relying on my ability, I could revitalize the business of Lu, find out the culprit who framed my parents, and let them feel at ease in the underworld. To be able to be proud of me was quite a simple matter.

Since I was young, I have lived with such pride and arrogance until I met Mu Huainan, and my outlook on life was overturned time to time.

I knew it was too late to regret it.
