Chapter 64

Chapter 64: Gudako's Solo Atmospheric Entry!

Tom, upon hearing Bai Song's question, was taken aback for a moment. He turned his head to the right and, quite visibly, the tan-colored bag containing Ryunosuke was still there by his side. Bai Song's question had startled him, making him think that he had somehow lost the bag without realizing it.

Once Tom confirmed that the bag with the person was still there, several question marks seemed to pop up over his head, as if he were saying, "Hasn't it been right here all along?"

"Open it up," Bai Song said without blinking, only noticing the bag that had appeared out of nowhere when he spoke. If he weren't already aware, he would have been startled by the sudden appearance of the bag next to him. Someone unaware might have thought they were seeing a ghost.

Furthermore, Bai Song had noticed that Tom was carrying Ryunosuke alongside him, but at some point during their journey, Ryunosuke had disappeared without a trace. Bai Song had been afraid that Tom had carelessly discarded him. However, when Bai Song asked, Tom simply reached outside of Bai Song's field of vision and pulled out the bag containing Ryunosuke. It seemed like it had been hidden from view all along.nove(l)bi(n.)com

Tom wanted to release Ryunosuke for a simple reason: the haunted mansion where he had been residing had been thoroughly wrecked by Tom and Jerry, and the police had discovered it. Going back there was out of the question, so they had to find a new place. For the time being, they could make use of Ryunosuke's residence.

Upon hearing Bai Song's request to open the bag, Tom reached over and untied the rope binding the bag's mouth. Once the rope was untied, the bag automatically slid down, revealing the person trapped insidenone other than Ryunosuke, the first enemy defeated by Bai Song and Tom.

"Wuwuwu~~~ " As soon as he saw the light again, Ryunosuke immediately focused his gaze on Tom and let out a series of "wuwu" sounds.

Bless his soul, he had been trapped inside this light-proof bag for a whole two days. During that time, he hadn't heard any external sounds. He had even begun to suspect that he had been killed by that cat and simply didn't know it. After all, he hadn't eaten or drunk anything during this time, yet he didn't feel any discomfort. It was hard not to think that he was already dead, and he even wondered if not even hell would accept him.

As a serial killer, being bound in a dark, cramped space where he couldn't move was truly more agonizing than death itself.

Just as he was beginning to wonder if he would be trapped inside forever, suddenly, a beam of light illuminated his face. Filled with hope, he opened his eyes and was startled to find the face of the eerie cat that had defeated him right in front of him. It was quite terrifying, to say the least.

In that instant, Ryunosuke was taken aback. He glanced around and realized that he was bound and contained within a bag. Standing around him were a person, a cat, and... was there a mouse on the person's shoulder?

"On XXX Street, number XXX." Before Bai Song could finish giving the order, Ryunosuke looked directly into Bai Song's eyes and earnestly replied at an extremely fast pace.

Satisfied with Ryunosuke's answer, Bai Song mercilessly instructed Tom, "Very well, knock him out and put him back in."

"Wait...?!" Upon hearing that he would be knocked out and put back, Ryunosuke suddenly became anxious. Even though he had the psychological endurance of a serial killer, being trapped in a cramped space without seeing the light of day was not something he could bear for long.

Without giving Ryunosuke a chance to argue, Tom laughed heartily, sticking out his tongue and casually picking up a stone from the ground. He held it in his hand and smashed it against Ryunosuke's forehead.

"Bang!!!"

Watching Tom put Ryunosuke back into the bag and hoist it onto his shoulder, Bai Song simply pointed ahead and said, "Very well, let's go!"

In the airspace above the forest on the outskirts of Fuyuki City, two fireballs were plummeting from high altitude. Anyone on the ground who saw them would think they were tiny meteorites.

If someone had exceptionally sharp vision and could see the fireballs clearly, they would realize that these were not meteorites but two living individualsa girl with orange hair and another with purple hair.

Indeed, these two individuals were Gudako and Mashu, who had just been propelled into space by Tom's mouth cannon. Due to the incredibly powerful explosion, they were launched into the stratosphere but didn't sustain significant injuries.

At this moment, the two of them had just finished their trajectory away from outer space and started their descent into the atmosphere.

Anyone who witnessed this scene would probably mistake it for a meteor shower.
