Chapter 386 386: Conflict VI

The elf was the first to run out of patience as he rushed forwards, his lance stabbing outwards to Cole. Because he was using a lance the elf had the greater reach, but ultimately Cole was still Cole. And outside of the amazing martial arts embedded within his weapons, Cole was a combat prodigy.

He ducked down under the lance that still fell down, with the elf attempting to cleave through Cole's shoulder. But [Black Malakai] was used to defend against the strike with Cole parrying it to the side and firing off a shot there was translucent silver barrier that appeared over the body of the elf. It shook and even blasted the elf backwards a few steps, but it was still powerful enough to defend against the shot from Cole.

"Now that's just cheating." Cole complained as he looked at the elf, who in turn spat out a mouth full of blood eliciting a surprised eyebrow raise from Cole as he bent his head down to look at the gun he held. Seems the elf might have stopped the bullet, but the impact still left a significant amount of damage.

"Coming from you that is hypocritical boss!" Eze said as he landed besides Cole with the Dungeon core held in the crook of his hand. Cole nodded to him as he asked.

"How much gas do you still have left in the tank, I'm running on fumes and my body cant handle another [Sin Eater]." Eze furrowed his eyebrows for a second before it turned into a smirk as he turned to the elf.

"I still have about 2% and my body can most definitely handle another [Sin Eater ] or two. But given how strong he is I think I can only pull off a single one. I'm sure he is going to be absolutely juicy" Cole rolled his eyes at that as he cleared his throat and shifted his attention back to the elf that had foolishly waited for them to finish talking.

"I go low you go high?" Eze asked? Cole shrugged as they both blasted forwards, but the elf was smarter than Cole gave him credit for as he slammed his lance into the ground, causing sharp roots to poke out of the earth, stabbing at Cole and Eze as they closed the distance.

Eze flew into the air, his body ablaze with golden light as Cole used [Spectral Rover] using his slowed down perception of time to evade the roots. To the observers it just looked like a human beam of golden light and another of black and red glow rushed over head in the air and on the ground to reach the elf in an instant.

The lance spun in his hand, blasting out seeds, blazing fast with a dull green glow wrapped around them. Cole let [Gravity] spin around him as he fired off a shot using [Multi-Shot] the evolved form of [Double Shot]. multiple bullets smashed into the elf's body. The same shield from before popped up again as the elf spat out a mouth full of blood wuxia style.

The barrier flickered, and Eze was there, smashing down from the sky with the fury of an avenging god of war, his signature axe in his hand. He nearly cleaved the elf in two as he brought the fight to a swift end by using [Sin Eater] Cole watched as the golden corona of energy rushed into Eze's body, a satisfied smirk appearing over his features before quickly followed by an intense bout of pain that sent him crashing to the ground in extreme pain, causing the dungeon core to roll out of his hand.I think you should take a look at

It rolled past Cole's grasp into the waiting arms of the general who had given that annoying speech. The general had a wide smile on his face as Cole got back up to his feet and helped Eze up, leveling an annoyed gaze at the General. "That does not belong to you." Cole said as the general smiled even wider.

"Of course not! I am not nearly worthy or even qualified to handle such a thing. As far as we all know this is all alien technology that should be left in the hands of experts and capable people such as yourselves." the general said as Cole raised an eyebrow in surprise that the General was so amicable.

ραΠdαsΝοvel.cοm "That's why we are confiscating this artifact for further study, we have to make sure that it does not pose a threat to the collective safety on the entire human race. So under the authority of His Majesty and the World Council, I will deliver this 'Core' artifact to researches that would quickly study it and start taking measures with what we learn from it to out fit the human race."

Cole blinked, then blinked again, then laughed as he noticed the soldiers and even some aspirants standing behind the general, ready to make a move should he and Eze have anything to say. He could feel Eze getting angry, his emotions simmering as Cole could smell the scent in the air. He smiled then raised his hand to Eze, telling him to calm down.

"Wow! I had honestly thought that I had scared you people into submission. But I forgot you're humans, we're always going to poke the hornets nest. I take it whether I agree to let you walk off with that Core, or I fight you guys and lose woefully due to how weak I am, you're still going to kill me aren't you?"

There was a gasp, as the remaining aspirants, that had been in the dungeon arrived, or what was left of them. His aunt and brother was still alive, but the rest of them were dead. And the holes in their bodies were most definitely not from the arrows of the elves. Cole shook his head, as Eze spoke up.

"So the world council is going to terminate their best chance at survival?" the general shook his head with a laugh.

"You lot, especially you Cole 'World Breaker!' Raen Night! Are an abomination and wild cards that can not be controlled. Our universe will make do without you thank you very much, now die!"
