“We will be taking our leave now.”

The soldiers left, riding on the horse-carriage we came in.

They seemed to have brought only the bare minimum of luggage, so they left in almost no time after we arrived.

The potion seemed to be quite bitter, and the soldiers who drank it made terrible faces.

Keeping the potion’s recovery effect as well as consideration for me in mind, the soldiers forced themselves to gulp it down, but I’d rather they recovered naturally than force themselves to drink it.

That’s what I thought, but the soldiers seemed to think it would be better to recover with the potion, and diluted it with water from their canteen before drinking it.

Well, its effect won’t go down by diluting it, so they can do as they liked.

It seemed to have become much more bearable after dilution, and they said they’ll finish the rest inside the carriage.

I wanted to offload my inventory, but I may have done something awful.

I wouldn’t have drunk it in any case.

“Eh? Soldier uncles all went home?”

“Yeah, they just left a while ago.”

“Eeh~, I was thinking of inviting them for the party. Goodbye~”

Reno, who had stepped out of the house and was standing beside me, shouted loudly as she waved at the horse carriage.

The carriage had already become quite small in the distance, that it was questionable whether her voice reached or not.

She seemed eager to invite them to the party as well, but it was impossible now.

Aria wouldn’t be able to bear it.

Her body wouldn’t stop shaking if she were left alone, or had to be with someone she didn’t knew.

She had come a long way this half-month.

Aria herself tried going where others were or tried staying without us, in hopes to heal herself.

She had become able to exchange pleasantries with the carriage-driver who came with us.

But she still can’t maintain a conversation with people she didn’t knew.

That sort of thing will have to be fixed steadily.

“Then, let’s party! Party-!”

“I, helped too.”

Once the horse-carriage left our sight, Reno grabbed Aria’s clothes and dragged her inside.

Sui, who was standing next to Reno, also pulled on my clothes.

***

“Oh wow.”

“What, is this?”

Aria and I, who were dragged into the house, stood at a loss for words at the entrance.

The inside of the room was decorated with multiple colorful lights.

Each of the lights blinked regularly, reminding me of Christmas from my previous world.

“Hehe~, isn’t it amazing?”

“I too, worked hard.”

“Well, the dishes come after this though.”

This was [Light Sphere], right?

What’s more, the fact that it’s blinking means it’s the type where the brightness and the way it emits light changes according to the magic added into it.

The amount of mana required is small, but it should be one of the most difficult spells in the book Kili was reading.

The process for alchemy should have been quite complicated, and there must be almost no room for error in the materials.

In terms of difficulty, it’s leagues above the likes of [Water Sphere].

I’m impressed she could make this.

I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to.

Besides, this wasn’t an ordinary number.

It’s true that we had a surplus of materials which is why they could be made.

“Did you three make these together?”

“Yep. Reno and Sui worked very hard.”

Sieg-san prepared an alchemy pot as promised.

It was on the smaller side, but it was a genuine product.

It became Reno’s.

I thought she was not suited for it since she gave the impression of getting tired of things easily, but I’ll have to fix this misconception of mine.

“How is it? Lain nii-chan? Are you impressed?”

“Impressed?”

“Yeah! You two are really amazing!”

I patted both their heads.

Both of them closed their eyes in bliss.

While doing that, it finally felt like I was home.

Aria was also curious about the hanging lights, and started touching them.

“Should I have made these many spheres? I heard they were highly demanded, which is why I made them though.”

“Yes. These will do just fine.”

When Kili asked Milia that question, Milia showed a suspicious smile.

Seeing that, Kili’s smile became cramped.

She most likely remembered the bracelet from last time.

She had the same face at that time too.

Her guess was probably on the mark.

I haven’t asked Milia what she planned on selling next either.

But it will most likely be something related to light.

I managed to hear Milia talking to herself about the light’s strength and glare multiple times.

As if not realizing anything, Reno keeps looking up at Milia with a dumbfounded look.

Milia seemed to like Reno’s design a lot, so it seems like Reno will face the same disaster as last time.

Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.

“Hey, Milia? What are you, planning to make?”

“I’ll tell you later. Let’s enjoy the party for now.”

“Yeah! Let’s party! Party-!”

“You’re right, let’s do that. I’ll help with the dishes.”

Aria and the others started preparing food for the party.
