“Damn it, this house’s defense is really high.” Lotus sneaked into Kyle’s house while dealing with the annoying giant insects around her from time to time. She didn’t really want this, but it seemed that she had no other choice but to sneak in.

Petra was unwilling to help her and what Lotus wanted was to eliminate that device from Kyle’s house.

Lotus walked down the stairs and then entered the warehouse where Kyle put his items inside before.

Lotus’s eyes widened. “How could it be empty? That cat’s space shouldn’t have been enough to fit everything here and aside from the device, there should be a considerable number of supplies in this place....”

But it was completely empty.

Not to mention supplies, the supposed frequency generator device was not even here.

Lotus felt at loss.

There was no way that the report was inaccurate. After she came back, everything she knew from her ‘rebirth’ was exactly the same as what she knew. But why did this thing different?

If the frequency generator was not in Kyle’s house, where is it?

She hadn’t changed anything that was related to Kyle, right?

“Damn it! I will have to wait. It seems that the person who put the frequency generator inside hadn’t put it in Kyle’s house yet.”

Did it meant that someone else was responsible for City A’s destruction but Kyle was the one who bear the brunt?

“Tsk, tsk.” Jake shook his head. “I guess the most important thing for us is to grow stronger as fast as possible, huh?”

“Let’s continue our journey to City B.”

“Huh? You still want to go there?”

“We have to find Dylan’s family members. It’s better for everyone to stay together rather than being scattered, right?”

Dylan nodded. “Yes.”

Kate’s father tapped the table. “Just like before, not all insects are mutating in this event. Even if there are a lot of insects, there’s a limit to how many of them are mutating. The rest are still the same as before.”

“It didn’t help that much, you know.” Jake smiled bitterly.

The number was still in trillions or even more as he didn’t even bother counting how many insects he had killed before.

Taking the car again, they headed towards City B.

The distance between City A and City B were not that far. Usually, around 12 hours of driving would be more than enough for them to reach City B.

The fire from Kyle burned the insects around them as they continued to move forward in the snail pace. Kate was also looking outside and absorbed those white dots aside from putting the crystals inside.
