TL: Moonlit

“What happened?”

Nie Lingyu furrowed his brows slightly.

Xu Ya hurriedly ran over and hugged Nie Lingyu’s arm.

“Brother Nie, quickly drive away this despicable person! Not only did he steal my watch, but he also hit me!”

Xu Ya cried with tears in her eyes, looking pitiful.

“We can’t keep a servant who steals from the master!”

Upon hearing Xu Ya’s words, Nie Lingyu’s expression instantly turned grim.

Bai Yu raised his gaze and cautiously looked at Nie Lingyu. He didn’t cry out loud like Xu Ya, nor did he argue back.

“I know Miss Xu doesn’t like me…”

A trace of bitterness appeared on Bai Yu’s face.

“Lingyu, if you dislike me as well, then send someone to drive me away… Forget it, I know you won’t believe me… I’ll leave on my own.”

Xu Ya couldn’t believe her eyes. How could this despicable person willingly leave on his own?

At the same time, Xiao Mihu became anxious and shouted loudly.

[Host, have you gone mad? Are you really going to leave? How are we going to conquer the villain like this!]

Ignoring the frantic thoughts in his mind, Bai Yu wore a sorrowful expression as he looked at the person in front of him.

Tears welled up in his eyes and lingered, his gaze filled with uncontrollable disappointment…

Nevertheless, he still approached Nie Lingyu and tidied up his slightly crooked tie.

“Lingyu, take care of yourself and eat properly in the future. Don’t drink too much… It’s not good for your health. I won’t be here, but you need to take care of yourself.”

As he spoke, he resolutely walked towards his room, even taking out his suitcase and packing his clothes.

Xu Ya looked at Bai Yu with a triumphant expression. She never expected that a few words from her could drive away this annoying guy.

Indeed, a servant was always a servant and could never be on equal footing with the master!

But before she could revel in her victory, she saw Nie Lingyu suddenly snatch his arm away from her.

Then he walked over and firmly grabbed Bai Yu’s wrist, pulling him into his embrace.

“Did I say you could leave?”

Nie Lingyu squinted his eyes, exuding a chilling aura.

“But…”

Bai Yu looked up at him, tears shimmering in his eyes, “Miss Xu doesn’t like me, and she accused me of stealing her watch… but I didn’t.”

“What does she amount to? My Nie household doesn’t depend on the judgment of an outsider!”

Nie Lingyu turned his head and glanced at Xu Ya, raising the watch in his hand.

“You accused Bai Yu of stealing your watch. Do you have any evidence?”

Xu Ya’s face changed abruptly. The situation was completely different from what she had imagined.

“But… the watch was in his hand. Isn’t that evidence enough?”

Nie Lingyu sneered, “And now the watch is in my hand. Does that mean I stole it from you?”

Saying that, Nie Lingyu forcefully threw the watch at Xu Ya.

“Escort her out!”

Nie Lingyu’s voice was filled with unprecedented anger. “From now on, don’t let unrelated people in!”

Behind Nie Lingyu, Bai Yu stuck out his tongue on purpose, making a face at Xu Ya.

Xu Ya looked at him, her whole face turning sinister. “Brother Nie, how can you keep such a vile person?… We grew up together! You can’t treat me like this.”

However, no matter how she shouted, it was useless. The bodyguards standing beside Nie Lingyu walked over and escorted her away.

Nie Lingyu turned around and looked at Bai Yu.

Bai Yu instantly reverted to his pitiful appearance.

He carefully held Nie Lingyu’s finger.

“Lingyu, thank you for not driving me away…”

Bai Yu looked humble and pitiful, but he forced a smile.

That smile was so beautiful that it left Nie Lingyu stunned.

The tears that had been held in his eyes finally fell…

Nie Lingyu watched Bai Yu and felt a slight ache in his heart.

Unable to resist any longer, he lowered his head and kissed Bai Yu’s eyes, wanting to kiss away all the tears…

Nie Lingyu’s lips parted slightly, and his hoarse voice sounded in Bai Yu’s ear.

“You belong to me alone! No one can make you leave…”

Hi guys~

I was thinking, instead of 2 chapters a day, how about I make it 1 arc every Saturday with 2 weeks intervals between each arc? or something like that…

Cuz I feel like the arc won’t be enjoyable to read if it is not complete yet… And releasing 1 chapter a day might take more than two weeks to finish the arc, especially those arcs with more than 14 chapters.

Lemme know in the comments for your opinions. ^^
