138 The Sea of Stars

When Li Zexin finally recovered and wanted to talk to Feifei, he had already gone to the sand pit with Li Zekai.

Li Zexin carefully examined the clay figure in his hand. Its clothing was purple, and its face was squishy. He had already forgotten if he had worn those clothes. Even the buttons had been carved out in detail.

“Dad, look! Doesn’t it look like me?” Li Zexin walked to his father with the clay figurine.

“Wanwan, what do you think?”

!!

“It’s quite exquisite. He even showed that you have double eyelids.” Lin Wan took the clay figurine and looked at it carefully.

“Dad, can you take a picture of me with the clay-man? I want to post on WeChat.” Li Zexin held the clay figurine up to his face and grinned. “I am so happy,” he said.

Li Yanchen took a few pictures of his son.

[Xinxin is very happy.]

[Of course. There’s a little angel who likes him.]

[So Xuanxuan didn’t get a gift? Fortunately, Xuanxuan isn’t here to see this.]

[When Xuanxuan received gifts from fans, his little brothers didn’t receive anything, okay?]

[That’s right. What’s there to compete with? Don’t make trouble for Xuaxuan.]

[Xuanxuan is a big boy now. Feifei might not feel like he can relate to him, that’s all.]

[Everyone, stop stirring up trouble in the bullet comments. Shut up!]

[Giving a gift is a kind gesture. But if you don’t give a gift to someone, it doesn’t mean anything bad either.]

[Xuanxuan isn’t that petty. He receives gifts all the time. He won’t mind if his little brother received a gift for once.]

[Stop it. Xuanxuan is back]

Li Zexuan held two bunches of grapes in his hand and sang the whole way.

“I’m coming to you… you are the sea of stars!” He repeated the chorus over and over again. Perhaps he was too immersed in his thoughts to notice that he had appeared in front of the camera.

Li Zexuan crossed his long legs and sat down. He put a grape in his mouth and continued singing, using the bunch of grapes as a mic. “I’m willing to become a star, protecting the buzzing of the sea.” He leaned over and sang “Sea of Stars” in Li Yanchen’s ear.

[Is this really my idol, Li Zexuan?!]

[It’s him, alright! How did the Li family become like this? Give me back my cold, brooding idol!]

[Xuanxuan, what’s wrong? What happened to you?]

[My God! Xuanxuan, what happened to you?!]

Five minutes ago, Li Zexuan had gone to the waste disposal area to throw away the waste from the lunch. When returning, he heard Xiao Yi say that the Li family was already eating lunch together like a “loving family”.

Those words alone had made Li Zexuan lose his mind.

Li Yanchen had to admit that his son’s singing was good. But he was confused why the kid was repeating the same lines and singing it in his ears. Lin Wan was also stunned.

“Is this a new mission?” Li Yanchen looked at the camera and asked. ‘Could it be that the Festival Group had suddenly organized some kind of test?’

“Mr. Li, what mission? I am free this afternoon, I had my fill of the food and I am happy. Can’t I sing a few lines because I want to?” Li Zexuan sat beside his father.

“But do you want to sing in the live broadcast?” Li Yanchen pointed to the camera.

Li Zexuan turned to look and almost choked on his grapes. He had been too happy and carefree and forgotten all about the cameras. He used the bunches of grapes to cover his face and ran back to his room.

[Did Xuanxuan forget about the camera?]

[Is Xuanxuan that funny off-camera?]

[Is my idol’s image ruined?]

[So, what is he happy about?]

Sure enough, Li Zexuan’s happiness and his singing became the hot topic of discussion. Some of the viewers had recorded a video of it

Even though Li Zexuan had lost his composure in the live stream, the comments were still very friendly.

The fans felt that they had never seen this side of Li Zexuan and admitted that he was too adorable.

Celebrities were also humans.

Li Zexuan laid on his bed and looked at the comments. They seemed to be praising him, but also laughing at him.

In less than half an hour, Vivi called him.

“Xuanxuan, are you alright?” asked Vivi. She asked if he was doing alright and didn’t blame him for anything.

Vivi, as Li Zexuan’s manager, had worked with him for so many years. She knew that he was naturally cold and aloof.

Li Zexuan roughly explained the situation. After Vivi told him that no harm was done, he let out a sigh of relief. “I was just feeling happy and free and I forgot about the cameras.”

Vivi told him that everything was fine, but Li Zexuan still felt guilt for losing his composure in front of everybody. He also felt embarrassed. He didn’t want to appear in the live broadcast for the rest of the day.

Li Zexin entered the room with a thermos. He was grinning. “A certain someone always says I am too childish. Who was childish today?” he teased. “Jokes aside, it’s alright, big brother. You were very down-to-earth and cute.”

Li Zexuan buried his face in the pillow. “Go away!”

Li Zexin wanted to comfort his brother, but he was kicked out of the room. In the end, he went to the sandpit and played with his little brother in the sand.

When it was close to two in the afternoon, Xia Mo came to the Li family’s house. Lin Wan avoided the cameras and prepared the ingredients and tools for the live broadcast.

Only Li Yanchen, who was taking an afternoon nap, was in the Li family’s courtyard.

When the Festival Group found out that Lin Wan was the real Xiao Huan of the Sweet Little Circle, they all wanted to see it in person. However, they were afraid that they would accidentally expose themselves to the camera. They had no choice but to take a small detour into the Li family’s backyard and lean against the east window to take a look.

Seeing that Lin Wan and Xia Mo were preparing for the live broadcast, the staff were very excited.

In the sandpit, Li Zekai and Feifei saw three people peeking from the window. They had small plastic shovels. They poked the people on the back.

The staff suddenly turned around to face the two children. One of them explained hurriedly, “We are the staff. We are just here to watch Lin Wan’s broadcast.”

“Oh.” Only then did little Li Zekai let down his guard. “The cake Auntie Lin makes is very delicious.” Li Zekai quickly covered his mouth. Nobody else knew Lin Wan could make cakes except Xia Mo and a few others. Li Zekai was worried Feifei might tell everyone.

“Feifei, you have to keep it a secret.”

“What secret? Are the three uncles here to climb on the window? Is there something in this room? Uncle, can you carry me up to take a look?” said Feifei.

“There’s nothing here. We’re just casually walking around. Let’s go to the next house.” The three staff also realized that they were being careless, so they turned back and went away as though nothing had happened.

“Feifei, your boat is not ready yet. Let’s continue. When we’re done, we’ll go to your house to play with clay.” Li Zekai also quickly changed the topic back to their games.
