"The dragons will clear out the demonic insects. Soldiers and close-combat spirits can handle the demon soldiers. Demon soldiers are tougher to deal with than demonic insects, especially the demon generals. As commanders, you must inform your subordinates to be extra careful," Remi instructed two generals and four deputy generals, all of whom nodded in agreement.

"Next are the formidable enemies we faced previously, the noble demons." Saying that, Reggie looked towards Yalide, Valarie, and Bellina. "We're unsure about their numbers, but, unfortunately, all we can do is fight. Hopefully, the reinforcements from Mantillu will arrive soon; the royal palace's strength is not comparable to other cities'. Lin Xiang, as for you, you can act freely. Your current reputation is now higher than us city lords."

"Is it really that exaggerating?" Lin Xiang chuckled.

"Absolutely!"

After assigning tasks, Reggie addressed everyone with a heartfelt tone, "Life is the most important. We need to stay alive and witness the sunrise every day."

The morning sunlight covered the land, spreading across the grass plains. Dewdrops on blades of grass slowly dripped down, refracting the colors of the rainbow.

After resting for a night, more than twenty thousand spirits embarked on their journey. Lin Xiang led the way, yawning. He was not sure if the spirits had slept well, but he had a good rest. However, he was startled that morning by Dusty and Wind Chimes.

Dusty naturally liked being with Lin Xiang. He was used to it, but what he was not used to, was waking up to find Wind Chimes staring at his body with a peculiar smile on her face.

It felt as if someone had done something while he was asleep, and he was completely unaware.

Wind Fury was surprised to see his daughter walking alongside Lin Xiang, seemingly having a good relationship with Silent Water and the others. Normally, she would not be talking to other spirits.

It was probably due to his daughter being interested in humans, so she might want to know more about them. Wind Fury silently thought before pushing those thoughts aside, no longer dwelling on them. They were about to face a great enemy soon.

"Yalide" Lin Xiang looked at Yalide. He could not think of a strategy for such a large-scale war. He could handle one-on-one or a few enemies, but that situation was different.

"Kid, this is a good opportunity," Yalide looked at the distant bats, smiling.

"What?"

"These bats can be your trial subjects. Let Valarie fly you there, then use your fire magic to create a fire elemental explosion, give them a little gift. How about that?"

"But, I'm not very skilled with fire-based magic."

"It's fine. Didn't you ask Risa about some fire-based magic spells before? Go ahead, it's time to practice some magic."

Lin Xiang felt that Yalide made sense, even though he was not sure if it would work. After thinking for a few seconds, he thought it was worth a try and looked at Valarie.

Valarie heard Yalide's words, nodded, and spread her dragon wings behind her.

"Wait! Wait! I want to go too!" Naturally, Bellina wanted to tag along. Her principle was wherever Little Valarie went, she had to go too.

"Shut up and quietly stay here." Valarie blocked Bellina who was getting closer, "If you.. don't behave, I won't care about you in the future."

"No!!! I don't want to be a Little Valarie like this." Hearing Valarie's serious tone, Bellina seemed on the verge of collapse. Then, her face changed, appearing pitifully and blinking her big watery eyes. She moved a few steps and came to Lin Xiang, leaning against him,"Hey, human, you're called Lin Xiang, right?"

"Um" Lin Xiang subconsciously took a few steps back. Bellina's voice became very soft, and her attitude was different from usual. As an intelligent being, Lin Xiang felt danger.

"Tell Little Valarie for me, tell her to let me go, let me go too. Please?" Bellina tugged at Lin Xiang's clothes. To look at it in a simple way, it was like a little sister from the neighborhood pleading with her older brother from next door, saying, "I want~."
