Chapter 436 - The Intruder?

Aromatic candles burning in the dimly lit suite room added to the ambiguity in the atmosphere. The light floral scent wafting around in the air, intoxicating.

Laughing hysterically, the svelte figure in pink looked like a mad woman on the verge of death by happiness.

Slightly lowering her body, she haughtily lifted Lucifer's chin up from her heels, her manicured nails almost jabbing into his chiseled jawline. His fair skin had soft red bruises from the harsh treatment.

"Lucifer.. Lucifer.. Lucifer!!"

Grabbing the end of Lucifer's silky black tie in contrast with his crisp white shirt, she twirled it around her fingers. Her burning eyes were red. Her rosy lips stretched to reveal a smile as she cooed in a sickly sweet voice.

The two burly men behind her could feel goosebumps on their rough, tanned skin. Their shocked gazes held a trace of fear in them as they stared at the hysteric woman. They could never imagine how vicious this dainty girl was, their hearts throbbing in their chests.

*knock* *knock*

Suddenly there was urgent rapping on the door, and her gleeful expression changed to that of a frown. Evidently displeased, she glowered at the door before glimpsing at the still unconscious man on the floor. Her initial excitement nowhere to be found.

Confused, the two men exchanged curious glances. They turned to look at the irritated woman across them in unison. Instantly, a cold shiver ran through their spine, and one of them hurried outside, almost escaping.

Warily holding onto the concealed gun at the back, he looked through the peephole to see who's seeking their death. Turning back, he glimpsed at the other man who was helping Lucifer onto the couch, before slowly opening the door. His countenance immediately colored with puzzlement as there was not a soul in sight.

"Huh?!"

Just as the man was about to turn around and leave, a slender hand caught hold of his nape, the claw piercing it's nails into his skin. The vice like grip tightening with each passing second made it difficult for him to breathe. Even his gun was snatched away.

No matter how he tried, the man couldn't make a sound. In a matter of seconds, he lost strength in his legs and was about to pass out from the pain. Shoving him away mercilessly, the intruder fiercely glared at his sweaty face.

Casting a glance at the gun their hand, the intruder then smirked slyly. Their dark eyes gleaming with light.

"What's taking him so long?! Get out from here, go and check what's going on!!"

Feeling impatient, the lady in pink glared daggers at the half-opened door as she murmured curses under her breath. She gestured the other burly man, scowling darkly at him.

Complying to her wishes, the man didn't dare dawdle as he rushed to the door in hopes of keeping his life. Cursing himself in his head for taking up this seemingly simple job, he was already out at the quiet lobby.

"Wha...!"

Petrified, the man almost collapsed on the cold floor after seeing the shocking sight. Before he could let out a scream, a bullet directly shot through his forehead catching him off-guard. Blood dripped like water down his face, red and garish. His broad back hit the wall, another bullet was shot through the existing hole on his forehead.

"What the hell.. These stinky rats, what did they do now..?!"

The commotion alarming the lady in the room. Overcome by unpredictable bouts of rage, she was dreadful and anxious to the extent her body trembled uncontrollably.

As she was about to turn around, her soft hand was tightly clutched by a large hand. Horrified, she turned paler than paper.

With her heartbeat ricocheting, she tilted her head to the side. The initially knocked out man was now staring straight into her shaky pupils with a devilishly glint in his gray eyes. Her shaky heart jumped at the eye-contact.

"Aaah!!!"

Leaning comfortably, Lucifer roughly pulled at her hand, and she tumbled onto the red carpet like an abandoned chess piece. Her delicate knee was hardly struck against the table's end. Her shriek of agony resounded in the quietude making it lively.
