Chapter 365 - Just Some Entertainment

The moonlight splashed down its watery white-silver glow onto the city. Bathing, illuminating the cityscape. And in the distance the trees were silhouetted against the deep velvety sky.

All of a sudden, a slender figure in black sauntered through the shadows. A little hesitant, little excited. It could hear it's own heart pounding crazily.

*clack* *clack*

The sharp clicking of high heels against the floor, the staccato beat sounded increasingly loud in the dead quietness of the night.

'Where is Lucifer? And why is it so dark here..? Aren't hotels like these supposed to be all lit up with lights..'

Clutching her hands together, Sera looked around silently with her lips pursed in a line. While thinking in her head, her hawk like eyes darted to each and every corner searchingly.

Suddenly sounds hurried of footsteps reverberated calling Sera's attention, her ears perked up and she smiled in anticipation.

Thinking that it was Lucifer, Sera parted her lips as symphonous words tumbled down out of her small cherry mouth. She sounded spoilt, slightly coquettish after not seeing the man for a long time.

"You're here? I was waiting for a long time.."

There was no response.

In fact, it was completely noiseless, except for the sound of ragged breathing. The air seemed clouded with tension as well. There was no familiar scent of her man. It aroused Sera's suspicion, her straight eyebrows rose slightly, knitting together in apprehension.

'Not again!!'

Having experienced such an intimidating scenario before, Sera cursed in her head.

Taking a deep breath, Sera loosened her hands and fingers. She was undoubtedly prepared to face whatever danger awaited her. She abruptly turned around and wasn't shocked at all.

The moment Sera turned, her eyes greeted a well built man in formals standing across her. His brown eyes shrouded with a hint of uncertainty, his burly looking face fiercely expressionless.

Since Sera was wearing the mask given by Lucifer, her face wasn't recognizable, and the man was naturally clueless about her identity.

Sceptical of Sera's strength, the man was about to charge at her when a perfect blow landed on his nose, his eyes darkened with large tears as he frowned in stinging pain. The bridge of his nose was bruised pink.

The man's eyes glaring daggers at the petite woman who was ready to take him down. He clenched his jaw in pain and anguish. Sera was unfazed by his fury filled revengeful expression. She could be seen smirking lazily, as though he was not at all worthy of being her opponent. It was scary.

Subsequently, another punch was thrown towards his abdomen, it landed on the side of his left kidney. It was harder than other one, making him grunt and back off, in pain.

Taking advantage of those three seconds, Sera swiftly raised her leg and landed a quick kick at the back of his knees. He fell down on his knees with a thud.

Before the man could react or retaliate, Sera once again kicked his forehead with the high heel's end hitting him harshly and the back of his head crashed down the floor. Blood oozed out, the floor was dyed red in seconds. His forehead had a bright red circular mark.

Dusting the non-existent dust off her fair hands, Sera furiously glared at the almost dead man. He had ruined her night. She didn't wish to kill any men, not after coming back to her homeland! Dammit!

Yet, Sera had encountered these scums twice already. She had to kill those idiots who were after Lucifer that other night, and now these fools were asking for death. She really, really wanted a break after working so hard these few days.

Why can't anyone understand something so simple?!

While Sera was busy in her own world, a shadow stealthily flitted past her gaze. She didn't notice the movement while lost in thoughts.

*bang*

A loud gunshot rang in the air, forcing Sera to snap out of her daze. She turned to see a bald man with rigged built falling face down on the floor. There was a bullet mark, with blood streaming down at the back of his head. He himself was carrying a silver gun, it was shining stuck between his large fingers.

"You're finally here?!"

Sweeping her languid gaze past the dead body, Sera's voice resounded tinged with boredom. She even puffed her cheeks for the effect, she was truly upset, for real.

Standing across her, was a man in a mask similar to Sera's. It was a matching pair. Those soul-sucking gray orbs glistened in dark.

"I was.. Handling stuff!"

Chuckling, Lucifer tried to appease the lady as his eyes swept across the unmoving baldy.

"Looks like you were busy yourself.."

Taking leisurely strides towards his lady love, Lucifer caught sight of the half dead man that Sera had previously taken care off.

When Lucifer was just inches apart from Sera, he had easily yanked her into his arms.

"Oh! Just some entertainment.. To keep myself from missing you!"

With his free hand around Sera's slim waist, Lucifer was about to dip his neck and kiss her when she stopped him in time. Her finger placed against his sexy lips, she dawdled in a sensuous manner. The red nail paint was a nice contrast to his thin and cold lips. Her dense, long eyelashes fluttering playfully.

What Sera was trying to do now was focus her utmost attention on the handsome man in front of her, and forget about other trivial things, like the two dead bodies lying on the ground.

"I see.. Was it fun? Missing me.."

Gently kissing Sera's soft finger before removing it from his lips, Lucifer tightened his grip on her hand. His face drawing closer as he teased her in his low vibrato stirring the deepest chords in her already thumping heart.
