Chapter 250 - Telling You To Murder

The wide smile on Sera's lips slowly disappeared when Lucifer swiftly turned around after kissing her and waddled away.

She followed his figure, his every movement with slight but annoying feelings of apprehension rising in her chest.

"What is he doing..", she thought inwardly unsure of his actions.

The man has always been unpredictable when it came to surprises.

Lucifer lazily fetched an exquisite oval diamond and ruby rimmed mirror in sterling silver from the pool side. It looked stunning in the brightly lit atmosphere.

His lips were curved into a subtle smile exuding a devilish charm that made young girls swoon over him.

Sera's initial apprehensive feelings dissipated in thin air after casting a glance at the shining marvel in his hands.

She was obviously confused about his intentions and held her breath waiting for him to return. She knew and believed that he'd never disappoint her.

Carrying the mirror carefully in his hand Lucifer grinned wickedly, he then jutted his chin inquiringly to which she shook her head.

Keen eyed Lucifer could see that she was clearly on tenterhooks waiting for him like a convict waiting impatiently for his final verdict, chuckling helplessly he ambled forward.

Lucifer doesn't know why but he liked to bully Sera.

"Look through this and tell me whatever you see.."

Shoving the reasonably well-sized and heavy mirror into her hands Lucifer ordered in a gentle manner. She scrunched her brows seemingly perplexed by his strange words.

"Come on.. My love, we don't have all day now!"

He laughed mirthfully glancing at her uncertain expression, he couldn't understand what she was afraid of and lazily gave her a final nudge.

"Um.. Okay!"

She forced a stiff smile on her face reluctantly agreeing to his request cum order. He pinched her chin raising her small face, she gulped in horror and closed her eyes.

"I'm not telling you to murder someone! Loosen up.."

His laughter entered into her ears, his pleasantly cool breath fell on her jaw and she shot her eyes open.

The lanterns glowing in the sky came into the view mesmerizing her and she forgot all about her silly fears. He then skillfully stepped back giving her enough space.

Lifting the mirror in her hands Sera regarded her own reflection in it with somewhat scrutinizing gaze.

Her bright eyes travelled from her swan neck to her cute chin, then her pink tinted lips followed after her straight high nose and small forehead. All of a sudden she gasped appearing greatly shocked.

Seems like today was a day full of gasps and pleasant surprises for the young heiress of Lu household, Seraphina Lu.

In the pool the lissome figured Sera stood attired in a pale blush pink playsuit with a bow tied in the front and half cape sleeves and boat neck exposing her delicate clavicle. It was plain with no extra detailing or embellishments. The playsuit's pants length reached halfway above her knees. It was playful and trendy making her appear youthful.

Her hair were tied into a complicated looking fishtail side-braid, curly waves of unruly strands delicately framed her face and a pair of pearls adorned her ears. She looked everything like the fairy but in a more modern attire flaunting her shapely pair of slender legs.

The most eye catching thing wasn't her dress or her figure, not even the rare pink hued sea pearls in her ears.

The thing that made Sera gasp in utter sense of disbelief and shock was a delicate flower crown resting on her head like a jewel amidst her hair.

It was an exquisitely crafted floral wedding crown that had pale pink hued roses adorned with tiny but glittering diamonds and crystals in pure sterling silver. Inspired by the beauty of wild roses, bold, romantic with a touch of bohemian luxe, it was awe inspiring.

The statement piece that elegantly captured the essence of an enchanted garden bursting with every minute botanical details. Wildly gorgeous and beautiful at the same time.

Averting her blurry gaze from her reflection Sera met Lucifer's smiling gray eyes. Her heart started pacing at a speed faster than a marathon gold medalist.

"This thing here.. It was created solely keeping in mind the person who'd wear it in the future and it was long back, before I met you or even knew about your existence.."

Trudging forward Lucifer reached his hands to adjust the crown, it looked scintillating under the lights with the tiny diamonds encrusted on it glittering freely.

"However.. Now I think it's purpose has been fulfilled!"

Sera's breathing quickened at his words that secretly allude to Lucifer proposing her for marriage.

"What? You don't like it?"

Seeing her unresponsive front Lucifer felt a dreadful feeling in his chest.

Was she not willing to marry me?

Did I scare her?

Maybe I overdid it..!

Is she gonna hate me?

Lucifer's head was in a complete disarray, his thoughts running astray with a thousand things colliding in his overactive brain.

A lone tear rolled down her left eye, she was already on the verge of crying before but had tried hard to blink her tears away and not cry like a weakling in front of him.

However now the last thread of restraint on her was shred by Lucifer's touching words and his over sweet but sincere gestures.

Sera could feel his love, she was happy, elated beyond words after witnessing her feelings being not only reciprocated but cherished as well.

"I love you Lucifer! I love everything that you give me, whether it's a priceless diamond or a worthless stone.. You're the best thing ever happened to me and I love you.."
