Chapter 210 - All Of Them..

Three were taken down, five were remaining. Sera dealt with two while Lucifer thrashed one leaving him immobile on the cold ground. He was coughing blood while his body twitching with spasms.

Lucifer was currently engaged in fighting two men consecutively, his fast reflexes were nearly incredulous to naked eyes.

He was holding one man by his neck while kicking and thrashing the other with his small knife.

In a flash the knife slit his throat while the other died from suffocation, the small bones in his throat was almost crushed by the force with which he was held by Lucifer.

Lucifer's eyes raging red with an ice cold, thirst for blood. He gave an illusion of the grim reaper in the modern world.

The men were rather impressive giving an equal fight with conviction, totally different from roadside goons. It caught Lucifer's attention as he thought of something in his head, a glint in his gray eyes.

On the other side, the bullets in Lucifer's gun were put to good use. Sera's shooting skills were on par with Lucifer's. She had even secretly competed in underground competitions with Xav and Maya's help thus her sharpness and accuracy.

Among all the eight men half of them were dead while others were waiting for death counting their breath, their situation right now was worse than death with the nerve-wracking pain in their mulched bodies.

"You know to fight? And your shooting skills are great.. I didn't know"

Like an obsessed fan-boy Lucifer babbled with a boyish grin in stark contrast to the bloody red blotches on his once clear white shirt. He appeared smitten.

"There's so much that you don't know about me!", she shot him a smug smile twirling his gun in a playful manner. She then winked at him just like how he had done in the car.

Lucifer's heart was soaring high with all the happiness, his woman was not only smart and beautiful she was also strong and capable. Lucifer felt so proud of Sera that his heart swelled with all the pride and love he had just for her.

His eyes flashed with a faint light when he thought about how clean her moves were, the execution was hundred times better than an experienced assassin coupled with her fast reflexes.

He looked at her hands, they were soft and smooth with no signs of bruises or cuts. One couldn't tell if she'd ever fought in her life.

Even if she looked an amateur Lucifer knew that the person who had trained her was no ordinary man, it must be some organization. He was well informed about such things and he felt that his intuition was correct.

"Hmm.. I know!", he mumbled stroking the knife in his hand.

His eyes inadvertently darted to the knife in her left hand. It had a Chinese letter engraved on it that caught his eye.

"Where did you learn..", he was interrupted by her midsentence.

"My friends.. I got interested watching them train themselves! I'll let you meet them sometime", she excitedly replied.

"Uh-huh", he nodded. He was suddenly interested in meeting these 'friends' of hers, eagerly waiting for it.

Unlike usual days Lucifer was behaving rather leisurely today, he didn't immediately call Adrian to clean up the scene nor pushed these men into the dark dungeons of the underworld to extract information. He was casually chatting with Sera as though he didn't care.

His gray eyes calm, there was anticipation in them hinting that Lucifer was waiting for something or rather someone.

Loud clinking of heels resounded, the duo raised their head and caught a familiar figure walking towards them.

Lucifer was unbothered, he looked at the woman with a knowing look on his face. Sera was struck dumb although her face was poker with no hints of shock. They looked at her wordlessly in tandem understanding.

Watching the woman approach one of the men attempted to stand up albeit his broken legs and knee caps, crawling he reached her side. She laughed coldly and crouched slightly meeting his expecting eyes with a sneer.

"Piece of trash!! All are useless.. All of them sob!", she swept a lazy glance towards the dead bodies lying on the ground. Her voice grave with no softness only bitter venom.

Picking up the cast away shining toy from the ground, she glanced at the gun in her slender hands and looked at him coldly, he watched her actions in confusion.

She pointed the muzzle to his head and pulled the trigger before he could beg for mercy. The man died in her hands, she looked at him with no emotion at all.

"Callista?", Sera called out in a flummoxed manner seeing her kill someone so cold-bloodedly. She felt goosebumps seeing her cold gaze.

"Callista? Who?", she asked with a mocking tone looking provocatively at the silent and calm Lucifer. Looking at her as though he was waiting for her to confront him.

Surprisingly he nodded his head at her, she felt weird under his gaze. Cold and apathetic with a knowing smile. It was scary.
