Chapter 140 - Don't Push Me Away

Su Yin was holding up just fine in the wake of her breakdown that night after Adrian left her place, days were passing by somehow almost peaceful yet dull.

Eventually things fell back into place, the way everything was before Adrian showed up in Su Yin's life again after their one year long hiatus.

Su Yin woke up early, got dressed up pretty quickly and rushed to her father's office habitually.

She had to complete the pending projects in order to escape from this dull and boring life of hers.

Just two more days and Su Yin will breakaway from these shackles for the time being and go back to F Country, the same place where it all started a year ago.

Su Yin had promised to visit Su Yishen in F Country next week.

His exams were going to be done and they could spend plenty of time in his holidays.

Su Yin proposed to go visit him just like any other year and spend time with him because she knew that Su Bo Ying, her father would be too busy to visit his own son.

Su Yishen was still in high school and currently studying at F Country, Su Yin would visit him every year and spend some time with him to help fizzle out his loneliness and give familial love to the young boy.

Su Bo Ying wasn't a heartless man nor an incapable father, it's just that... he's heartbroken!

Ruo Shi, Su Yin's mother was Su Bo Ying's first love. After dating for nearly a decade Su Bo Ying proposed marriage to Ruo Shi who was also his childhood sweetheart.

Ruo Shi was very happy and accepted gladly his proposal. Following which they had a fairytale wedding and were blissfully happy in their married life.

Soon after they had Su Yin, who was their honeymoon baby. Ruo Shi was still quite young when she was again pregnant with Yishen, due to complications Ruo Shi died during childbirth.

Losing Ruo Shi in those circumstances made Su Bo Ying subconsciously blame Yishen, thus his indifference towards the clueless and innocent boy.

Su Yin could understand her father's feelings, she could also feel Yishen's pain. And that's what pushed Su Yin to become a mother to the young Yishen rather than a big sister.

Su Yishen was practically like her own son to Su Yin after all these years. Thinking about all these things Su Yin was feeling a little low.

Adrian was driving in a trance still distressed when a familiar silhouette walking came into his view.

"The heavens must be rewarding me..", mumbling to himself Adrian smiled faintly seeing the woman at a distance.

Su Yin was strolling along the pavement across the street, absent mindedly.

The golden hued streetlights cast a shadow on the slender frame that made her appear gentle yet dazzling.

A genuine, sweet smile crept up Adrian's lips as his blue eyes glistened with a hint of mischief in them.

Adrian hurriedly parked his car at the side before jumping out of the car and taking long strides towards Su Yin's side.

Slowly trailing behind her with lazy steps Adrian followed after the Su Yin with a contented smile on his face.

Dressed in a white blouse paired with black slacks with her silky black hair tumbling down her shoulders, holding her white LV sling bag completely unaware of her surroundings taking light steps Su Yin looked as beautiful as ever.

Adrian looked tenderly at the woman walking in front of him, like an angel sent from the skies to entrance the immortals, Adrian would always get enamored by Su Yin's grace and allure.

After a brief moment Su Yin abruptly halted her steps while Adrian was still walking in a trance gazing at her lissom figure, just when he was about to hit her back Su Yin turned almost crashing into his chest.

"You..", Su Yin's words crashed halfway just like her brain with the sudden close contact of their bodies.

Adrian swiftly snaked his arm around her slender waist, Su Yin's face was dangerously close to Adrian's, their heartbeats were in sync and breathing erratic.

Su Yin looked into his blue oceanic eyes with waves of desire crashing into them, time froze when two hearts came together.

Su Yin slowly pulled out her hand, with her palm now placed against his chest, she could clearly feel the loud thumping of Adrian's heart.

"Let me go..", Gathering herself Su Yin gently nudged him, attempting to push the man, her mellifluous voice sounded in the silent evening.

"Don't push me away, Yinyin!", Su Yin was stunned by the sudden change in Adrian, she could clearly sense the grief in his voice.

Without giving her any chance to push him Adrian embraced her tightly mumbling against her neck.

Seeing his state Su Yin conceded, slowly reaching out her arms she returned Adrian's hug snaking around his waist, breathing his scent.

"Thank you..", the man looked so vulnerable that Su Yin's heart ached, the strings were pulled apart and she couldn't resist him.

Tightening her arms Su Yin wholeheartedly embraced the man, putting all the pieces together and healing his broken heart.

Adrian smiled at her little act of acceptance and kissed her shoulder in a chaste manner, without any other thoughts.

The pair stood hugging each other under the streetlights, the golden hued light casted a gentle glow making it look magical, as though they were a real painting.
