Chapter 300 - Some Things Never Change

Andrea felt so blessed over the year. Apart from business, they rarely had any difficulties.

During her pregnancy, she had mild vomiting and nausea. Thankfully, it only lasted for two months and she managed it well while at home, without a need of staying in the hospital.

She had cravings for crunchy fruits, one that she could pair well with vinegar or pickles. Andrea ate a lot of pickles and green salads prepared with vinaigrette. Fortunately, it was not a very hard meal to prepare for Lu Fang.

Love-making during her second trimester was fantastic. They did not do it very often but the fact that they were still able to do it on a regular basis, to Lu Fang and Andrea, it was a gift.

While in her womb, Angela was a kicker. On her third trimester, Andrea felt her ribs was in constant pain. She often murmured, "this baby girl is so like me. My dearest, you are going to be a fighter like mommy."

To her surprise, Lu Fang was right. Her pregnancy did allow her to remember how she took care of pregnancy with the twins. It made her laugh and cry, recalling those times she argued with her husband. She still had mood swings while carrying Angela, but with the twins it was different.

Li Wen's words were true. With Chevre and Brie, her hormones were just off the roof and with two babies pressing against her organs, it was more difficult.

Dr. Qi told her that pregnancies differ from one another. Regardless if it is the same mother, the experience can be different. She could not help but agree.

Andrea was more active with Angela. In fact, she worked out while pregnant. Still, she made sure she had regular prenatal check-ups and followed the specific work-out plan for pregnant women.

After two days following her surgery, Andrea was already walking around her hospital suite. She told her husband, "It's just a little painful. I should not make my body weak."

Lu Fang tried to convince her to give herself time and rest at least for three to four days, but she felt it was a waste of time. Dr. Qi also agreed with her. Thus, she had her urinary catheter and epidural removed on the second day. She forced herself to go to the bathroom and merely took oral pain killers.

It stressed the man thoroughly. He thought, 'How can Andrea be willing to bear the pain when she had a c-section?'

Since she only gave birth to one baby, Andrea hoped she could give enough breast milk to Angela, but sadly, she only produced milk for a month. Despite how her husband kept stimulating her breast, milk production did not return.

After six weeks, Andrea was constantly at the gym for at least two hours, getting her body back in shape. She never wanted to lose her figure, especially since she had such an attractive husband who was constantly being eyed by cunning women.

The twins adored their little sister. At home, Lu Fang often sang to Angela and the little ones sang along with him. He encouraged them to show love to their baby sister all the time that each morning, Chevre and Brie would come to their room. They would always give a kiss to Angela and another one in the evening.

Pillar was a full-time nanny to Angela, but most of the time, Andrea co-slept with her new baby girl. Only when Lu Fang preferred to have more rest or alone time with his wife, Andrea would hand Angela over to her nanny at night.

Since Chevre and Brie were getting older, the couple decided to move back to their mansion where the twins can have a playroom and a garden to run around.

Hanxi stuck to Andrea like glue. He dared not pursue his career as he felt he owed his sister his life. He lived with the couple and continued being Lu Fang's head of security while occasionally taking modeling jobs.

Their family was getting bigger that they also hired a chef to prepare their daily meals and three additional house-help to maintain the cleanliness of the mansion.

The couple was used to having a private home just for themselves, but as the kids were getting older, they realized, it was impossible for them to keep up with their family's growing needs.

Lu Fang requested for Aunt Rosa's family to stay with them. He built a small home next to the mansion so they can have their own privacy and still can aid Andrea at any time. Aunt Rosa's husband, whom they call uncle Jose, was a good gardener, and he maintained the surrounding of the mansion. Her daughter, Maria, was still in college but was always happy to help look after the twins during her free time.

Aunt Rosa had long served the Lus. Before she got married, she worked for Christina while Lu Fang was still studying. When she returned to work for them, Lu Fang was already a grown man, living on his own. Since Christina was full of house-help at home, she came to serve the man instead.

It was Lu Fang who helped brought in her entire family from Mexico. So it was their family's pleasure to continue to help him and Andrea.

The couple could not forget how Aunt Rosa agreed to live just meters away from them. It remained tattooed on their minds up to this very day. "Lu Fang, Andy, you cannot… absolutely cannot… never ever… must never ever have sex just anywhere in the mansion. You are strictly limited to doing it in your bedroom. Even if it is our off, but now we will be living just next to you."

A: "Pfft! Aunt Rosa, we would never."

LF: "Absolutely, not."

Aunt Rosa shook her head while massaging her temples, hearing their response. Somehow, she found it unbelievable. Since she helped hired the maids, she picked only female ones, including the chef, and they were all gone every time Lu Fang arrived home from work.

Aunt Rosa made sure there were very few people inside the mansion when the man was at home.

Thankfully, the couple controlled themselves. Lu Fang would want no one to see his wife's skin and it was the same with Andrea.

When Lu Fang asked Aunt Rosa to buy contraceptives, she knew Andrea was ready and was probably given a go signal by her doctor. It worried her and thus; she reminded them once again the restricted areas in the mansion where they are not to make love.

Following their return from Guangzhou, Aunt Rosa had to make an early breakfast since Chevre liked her chicken and rice porridge. It was still five in the morning and the twins were often awake by six. She thought she heard noises from the kitchen that she hurriedly walked to where the sound came from.

When she turned on the lights, she found Andrea and Lu Fang with their hands all over each other. They were still dressed but Andrea was on the kitchen top, her legs wide open and the man was in between her. One of his hand was on her waist and the other, only God knows where.

Aunt Rosa's eyes instantly narrowed at them.

Andrea immediately pulled both her husband's hands to hold her waist and cried, "Ouch! Ouch! Aunt Rosa. I was trying to get noodles from the hanging cabinet and I fell." Turning to her husband, she added, "Thank goodness Lu Fang followed and caught me just in time, but my hips really hurt."

"Up the bedroom now the two of you before I decide not to make the twin's porridge," said aunt Rosa.

The two hurriedly left and as they walked, they heard aunt Rosa say, "You seem no longer in pain, Andy - "

"Ouch, babe. It hurts. Please carry me."

Lu Fang cleared his throat before carrying Andrea in his arms and walked towards the stairs.

Aunt Rosa let out a heavy sigh and mumbled, "Some things never change."

While the couple was walking towards their room, Andrea said, "I told you that was a bad idea!"

"You are right, babe. Next, time let's go down at three in the morning," Lu Fang agreed.

"Yeah, I think three in the morning is fine. The twins barely get up at dawn now."
