Chapter 104 - Let's Give Us Another Chance

"Andy, I miss you. I miss you so much."

How can she ever forget? That voice, that scent... It can only be the person she had been with for five years, her childhood friend and her adoptive brother.

Knowing some of the gifts she bought were fragile, she placed all of the bags in the trunk before moving away. "Let go of me."

"Andy."

There was no response from her, she merely closed the trunk and walked over to the driver's side of hoping to ignore him and leave without any trouble.

Gabriel found Andrea surprisingly beautiful and sexy. She was wearing a floral dress three to four inches above the knee, exposing her firm and fair legs. It was not her usual pants nor jeans. She rarely wore dresses when they were together.

Realizing he was being ignored, he grabbed her wrist and tried to pull her over for a hug, but she was quick to push him away.

"What are you doing here, young master Davies? How special must I be to be visited by you all the way from Europe?"

Knowing Gabriel is equally skilled in martial arts, she made sure to take a few steps back.

"Andy, you look very beautiful – "

"I've always been beautiful and what are you doing here?"

"Can we talk, please?"

"There is really nothing to talk about. Besides, I am in a hurry. My husband is waiting for me." She attempted to open the front door but he glided his way and stood in front of her.

"Why? Why did you have to leave?" He asked.

Andrea thought, maybe if she talks some sense into him, he would understand and let her be. She let out a long sigh before speaking, "Gabe, I was hurt. You have to understand… You were my everything back then… I felt betrayed being dumped just like that... How do you expect me to stay and watch you and Taya every day of my life – "

"I'll leave Taya!"

She was stunned, caught off guard with the words that came out of his mouth. 'He will leave Taya? Didn't he loved Taya?' Recalling their very last conversation, he definitely said he was in love with Taya.

She shook her head before responding, "don't do that Gabe, you love Taya and your mom loves Taya too. I don't ever want to have problems with your mother and Taya's family. Besides, I am about to have a family of my own now."

Gabriel was staring at the rings on her finger as she spoke and thought, 'She is already calling that man her husband when they are not yet married.'

"Gabe, I am happy where I am and you should too." Seeing him unresolved, she added, "remember how you made me beg? You were unyielding to my pleas and cries. You did that all for Taya… I don't know why you are here, but I don't care… All I know now is that my man is waiting for me and I need to get going."

He could felt his chest tightened. His emotions were beyond his comprehension. The only thing that was clear to him is that he wanted to bring her back. "I don't know Andy, I can't stop thinking about how you left… I don't understand it myself - "

"If this were two years ago, I would have thrown myself at you after saying those, but Gabe, let me tell you the same exact words you told me before… I realize I was never in love with you… You were right, maybe the idea of us being together was merely forced on us."

Gabriel thrust his fist onto Andrea's car, startling her in the process. The same words he said to her more than three years ago were piercing through his heart.

"Come back home with me?" His voice, now, more than ever was domineering. "Let's give us another chance. I want to find out... I feel so frustrated over your absences… You left without a word… and seeing you with another man… I just can't stand it!"

"Gabe? Maybe you were just used to having me around! And no, I will never go back to Europe… Have you forgotten what you have done to me? What you and your mother have done to me?"

"Andy, I know I hurt you but don't involve my mother into this!"

For a brief moment, there was silence between them. It suddenly dawned to her that he had no knowledge of what happened, making her leave the Davies family for good, without saying goodbye to him. She was contemplating whether or not to tell him but the moment he attempted to pull her away from the car, she knew he needed to be given the right reasons.

"Gabe, your mother had me kidnapped!"

"What are you talking about, Andy? My mother would never – "

"She had me kidnapped! Almost two weeks, I had nothing to gulp on but water. I was kept on a dark sh**hole! If it weren't for a maniac who wanted to violate me, I would have stayed there much longer, maybe died of starvation!"

"You are lying! Andy, how could you!"

"You know what hurt the most? I was in that state while you were out on a vacation, f**king Taya!"

He then remembered spending an entire month vacation with his current girlfriend. He was supposed to go on a business trip but his mother turned it to be a holiday.

He recalls attempting to contact Andrea having not bothered him for an entire week, but found her mobile phone switched off completely. Though Taya had diverted his attention well, he did remember being anxious about not hearing from his former lover. He was out of words, registering, trying to connect the dots.

Seeing the doubt on his face, she tried to convince him further, "I have no reason to lie… Go back and ask her yourself… You are a very resourceful man, Mr. Davies, I'm sure you can find out the truth."

"Andy, let's go back now and try to talk to mother about this -"

"No – "

Before she knew it, Gabriel was firmly holding her hand trying to pull her to the other direction. When she started to resist, he began pretending to throw punches at her but would attempt to pin her against his body. She understood well what he was trying to do… He was trying to put her unconscious aiming for her neck.

Then, out of nowhere, four other men came up to help. She was now surrounded by specially trained men, worst, Gabriel was a capable fighter like her.

"S**t!" Andrea exclaimed as she was about to get into a fight. 'I am wearing a skirt and a thong underneath!'
