Chapter 82 - Put him on a Gift Box

Alfred Davies was packed getting ready to leave when Gabriel saw him carrying two trolley bags. The other one was mint green. He could not help but wonder where he was off to.

"Dad, where are you going with Andy's luggage?"

Alfred was not certain whether or not he should tell the truth but figured, Gabriel had moved on with Taya. So he smiled looking at his only son and said, "I'm meeting Andy."

Hearing her name made his heart sink. He suddenly felt the need to fill an empty spot in his heart.

"I will be heading out now. Don't tell your mother."

Gabriel was still at a loss, thinking, he wanted to come with his father. He also wanted to see Andrea. He was about to make the decision when he heard Taya call him out.

"Darling! We are here!" Taya said while waiving at him as she stepped out the Ferrari from the front lawn.

Seeing how he was stuck with his girlfriend, he could only send his regards. "Dad, tell her I said hi… and Happy Birthday."

Alfred happily left their old mansion. The flight would take more than 13 hours with stops even with the use of his private plane. Nevertheless, the long journey will be worth it. He had brought with him a suitcase full of gifts to celebrate her birthday.

Since Go Bolin was at the hospital, the couple had asked Juan, to drive them today.

Inside the car, Andrea was feeling a little flustered because the man could not hold it in. He knew they were running late to pick up her father, yet he still manages to do her in the showers. Worst, they did it rather fast that she did not get to come at all.

"Babe, are you still mad at me?" He asked.

"I told you we were running late." Her arms folded together as she said this.

Lu Fang pulled her closer to him and tried to ease the tension. "Don't worry, babe, Juan will take us there in no time! Isn't it right, Juan?"

"Yes, Mr. Lu. I'll do my very best."

Seeing her unresolved, he bent down to whisper to her ears, "Babe, I was really nervous about meeting your father. I badly needed some exercise to let it out... Besides, were you mad because we did it or because we did not do it properly?"

Her face turned red and in an effort to deny the latter, she ignored him merely looking outside the window.

With his mouth directly against her ear, he tried to appease her. "Don't worry babe, I'll tie you in bed and make sure to exercise my tongue and hips all night long."

Andrea felt every hair on her body stood up that she twitched unconsciously. She could not fully grasp how the man's touches make her powerless and wanting more. She suddenly felt a tingling sensation down there. Deep down, her inner self was looking forward to it.

"Perv." Her only response.

The man smiled mischievously and said, "Too bad you love this perv."

The mood in the car lightened up after that and Lu Fang was now busy, creating a list of ways to impress his father in law.

Immediately after landing, Alfred received text messages from Andrea.

"Dad, don't bring your men with you, please."

"And do you mind, passing by the VIP arrival's area. Please."

"I want you to meet someone. I Love you."

He was massaging his chin as soon as he saw the messages and wondered, 'Why the secrecy?'. Not thinking much of it, he agreed and instructed his men to wait at an airport hotel.

Coming out of the gate, he saw Andrea smiling and waving her hands at him. Her face had that special glow suggesting she was living happily.

"Dad!" Andrea came to hug him and he did the same, feeling overjoyed.

"Andy, I missed you so much."

"I miss you too, dad."

When Alfred looked up behind her, he saw a striking man looking at them with adoration. He then whispered to her, "My daughter, who is this interesting man behind you?"

She blushed at the question and bit both her hips before answering, "Dad he's my boyfriend. Isn't he handsome?"

She giggled while covering her lips exposing the ring on her finger.

Alfred could not help but ask, "Hmmm… What does that ring mean?"

"Dad, don't you think he looks so much like you? It's because you have remarkable similarities that I love him so much." She said trying to avoid the question.

Before he could ask again, she immediately called Lu Fang and introduced him.

"Dad, this is Lu Fang. Babe, this is my dad, Alfred Davies."

Alfred,'babe?'

Lu Fang extended his arm and said, "Mr. Davies, It's nice to finally meet you. Andy has told me much about you."

"Did she now?" Alfred asked.

"Yes, in fact, she told me countless times that I look so much like you. Haha!"

Alfred frowned at his laugh, but Lu Fang explained himself, "Finally seeing you, Mr. Davies, I never realized I was that handsome!"

Andrea,"…"

There were seconds of silence before Alfred finally laughed at his remark. "Of course! My daughter can only like someone as appealing as her father."

He then patted Lu Fang's back further indicating his agreement to the compliment.

Lu Fang smiled thinking, '1 point.'

More than just the man's punch line, Alfred was genuinely happy to learn that Andrea had moved on. He had always been worried about how painful the break-up was for her and hoped that she would find someone to love and will love her back beyond compare. He hoped this would be the man.

Andrea invited her dad for a late lunch and he was happy to join. They decided to indulge in an exclusive French-themed restaurant at a 5-star hotel. While waiting for their meal to be served, Alfred decided to interview the man sitting in front of him.

"So Lu Fang, does the ring on my daughter's finger mean you have proposed marriage? And you realize, you did so without my consent?"

"Mr. Davies, I mean not to disrespect. I had every intention of meeting you and every one of Andy's family before proposing. However, she beat me to it."

Andrea's face turned crimson. Even her ears were bright red.

Alfred looked at Andrea in disbelief. He thought, 'Am I hearing this right? Was he implying that my daughter invited him to get married?'

All of a sudden, Lu Fang's phone went off and he had to excuse himself seeing who it was calling - Shen Mian. "Excuse me, babe. I need to take this call."

Andrea did not take notice of the call since she was fixed on explaining things to her dad.

"Explain." She heard him say.

"I just blurted it out, dad. It just felt right."

After a few seconds of silence, "Dad, I really like him… No... I love him. I love everything about him."

Hearing her say this, he was teary-eyed. His daughter was being straightforward with her feelings. Something he had not seen even when she was with Gabriel.

Andrea continued saying, "Dad, I never asked for anything since I was young. Do you mind giving this to me? Put him on a gift box for me. I want him… I want all of him."
