Chapter 339 - 334 Little Help

((( Jasmin POV's )))

"Are you deaf? It's me, Popsee!" he said.

"Popsee?"

Popsee ... Popsee? I've heard of that name but never did I know someone personally called Popsee. I scratched my head, "Ah ..."

"I came to get you, Madear! Did you not recognize me? We're chat mates. I'll be your tutor here in Japan."

He looked a bit like Japanese but he's fluently speaking Filipino.

Oh well, I still don't know him. He might be a scammer for all I knew. Karen didn't even tell me something like that.

"Maybe you're just mistaken..." I said, "As far as I knew, another pregnant woman boarded the plane with me. Maybe she's the one you know."

A couple passed by us.

"That's her," I pointed to the woman. Her baby bump and dress were unmistakable.

"Madear!" The woman turned her head at us.

"Hey Popsee! You really came for me."

"I even mistook her- " he looked at me as if expecting to get my name.

"Cla-K…laren. Karen."

"I mistook Karen as you," he said. He then gazed at her male companion and asked, "Who is he?"

"Ah... he's my husband. Their management allowed him to go on a vacation and because he's a local here, I guess he'd just be my tour guide instead."

"Oh... what about our deal then?"

"Canceled I guess."

"Canceled. Oh my, that hurt my feelings."

"I'm really sorry."

"It's okay Madear." The couple left and so would Popsee but… "Popsee."

He turned his head and raised his perfectly arched eyebrow while his eyes scanned me from head to toe.

"Uhmm," I smiled coyly, "I'm kinda new here so can you help me uhm find this-"

"Because you're kind Madear, I will help you!" he smiled back widely, "Don't you have anywhere to stay?"

"Nowhere…I think."

"Wow, you came to Japan well-prepared, "he laughed sarcastically."What do you want…an apartment, hotel, or just bedspace?"

"Apartment. I'll be staying here for good." He nodded.

"You came at the right time Madear! The room I'm renting out in my apartment has just been vacated. You can stay there."

"Thank you." We hailed a taxi to where his house was. And throughout the ride, I couldn't help but be amazed by the scenery I could only see before in magazines or TV. The car stopped in front of a three-story premise. The ground floor was a shop and the rest seemed to be a dwelling.

"Welcome to my lit'l palace," he chuckled, "Come in."
