(CLAIRE)

"Don't ever do that again…" he hugged me tight.

"I was beyond hurt when I heard you fainted."

What did he say?

"You're really bizarre. Let go of me!"

"Let me be," he hushed me.

"I rarely show affection you know. Please…"

"Well I'm not used to it."

He tightened his hug a bit more.

"Get used to it. You're my wife now."

Was he crazy?

High?

Drunk?

"Are you sick?" I hissed.

"No. Just let me hug you."

"Flirty, aren't you?"

"Be thankful you're the one I'm flirting with."

"The Zhio I know isn't like that."

"He definitely isn't. But for you he could be."

Thank goodness he's hugging me from my back. I'd be embarrassed more if he saw how much I was blushing.

"Don't try to get me by that cheesy so-unlike-you gesture. I've known what Zhio really is."

"What do you think he is?" he pecked my cheek.

I felt feverish from blushing.

"I think…" I took his hand gently.

"You're abnormal!"

I bit his hand.

"Ouch. That hurts!"

"Don't ever flirt with a hungry woman," I let go of his hands and stood up.

Take that!

He was silent and me, I sunk back to the sofa I was sitting earlier before I fainted.

I'm really hungry. I wish the food would come sooner.

My gaze went back at him whose head was seriously hunched down. My eyes evaluated his posture for a moment then I stood up to poke his shoulder.

He didn't move.

Playing dead, aren't we?

"Let eat, Zhio."

He gave me that heated glare.

I almost melt…

"Go eat by yourself." He walked out on me.

As I watched him go, I realized I lost one chance to convince him to set me free. The moment he was hugging me, I knew I could have had talked it over.

Guess I was eating alone…

"Eat with me," I smiled at the maid that delivered the food.

She just smiled back at me as a polite way to refuse.

Zhio on the other hand, completely left back for work. So there I was, left alone again. And in that unwanted silence, my mind was imagining how worried everyone was at home. I knew they were amok at my sudden disappearance and all the blame could possibly fall on Derick. Dexter knew I was with him.

It'll be a complete utter disaster.

I really need to properly convince Zhio.

There was nothing I could do for the entire day but to binge watch movies on a small internet-free laptop. The only movie genre I avoided to entertain in my entire life was horror.

I was like a hermit.

A social recluse.
