Name:The Path of the Sage Author:
Fang Yun remembered that different Sages were described differently in the books when it came to their battle details. For instance, when describing the battles of Semi-Saint Mencius, it would mention his recitations, long chants, and contemplations, but the descriptions became much simpler when it came to Sub-Sages. And when it came to Confucius, it was even more special; it seemed like he didn't need to do anything at all, sometimes not even needing to speak to mobilize a great amount of the world's vital energy.

Fang Yun believed that these details were not necessarily due to the historians' negligence; there must be reasons behind them.

Fang Yun also thought about the contrast between the descriptions of All the Saints in modern and ancient times. Due to the protection of Sage Confucius, the ancient All the Saints focused on studying The Path of the Saints without specializing in slaughter, whereas the All the Saints of the past two to three hundred years had undergone a transformation, placing equal emphasis on both aspects.

Later generations unanimously agreed that, with the continuous exploration of mankind and the development of The War Poetry, war paintings, the way of the zither, and other aspects, in terms of killing and actual combat, the current Semi-Saints surpassed the ancient Semi-Saints by at least thirty percent.

As Fang Yun was pondering, Feng Yuanjun said earnestly, "Book Mountain is one of the three mountains that possess The Heart of Literature. You managed to write vigorously and miraculously as an Accomplished Scholar. After the Presented Scholar examination in September, you will ascend Book Mountain for the second time. Only by climbing to the sixth peak can you obtain the second Heart of Literature. However, so far, no one has managed to obtain the second Heart of Literature at the Presented Scholar stage."
