Chapter 71: Were all in this together.

Luo ZhouZhou had a dream, in which he was just a little vampire sitting with other vampires around the patriarch, listening to his story.

"Patriarch." He cried out affectionately.

The patriarch reached out his hand, patted his head and said, "Zhou Zhou, wherever you go in the future, remember that you are the best vampire you can be.

The picture shifted, and he was in darkness again, with only a little light in the distance. He walked toward the light, and kept walking and walking, but couldnt get to the exit.

And Chu Feng? Where is Chu Feng? He looked everywhere for Chu Feng, but there was no one around him, and he became anxious. He began to run, crying out in panic for Chu Feng, as if he was the only one left in the world, in an endless darkness of loneliness and despair.

Luo ZhouZhou opened his eyes with a start, staring at the ceiling and gasping for breath.

Only when his violently beating heart slowly subsided did he turn his head and look around. There were white walls, white sheets, and an empty IV bag hanging from a metal frame next to the bed; he was obviously in a hospital room.

The last thing he remembered was that he was suddenly unconscious, and that Qi Fen had brought him to the hospital.

It was a suite, no one was in the room, but on a separate small balcony, a whispered conversation of two people could be heard. While lying down, he could tell that the voices sounded like Qi Fen and Chu Feng.

Their conversation wasnt loud, but it still came to Luo ZhouZhou's ears intermittently.

"is this certain? I would like to check again."

"He's already showing the first symptoms of"

"The blood test came back and its clearly"

Luo ZhouZhou lifted the sheet, got up, put on the slippers beside the bed, and walked to the balcony. Hearing his footsteps, the conversation on the balcony came to an abrupt halt, and Chu Feng hurriedly walked in. He was followed by Qi Fen, who had his head down.

"Zhou Zhou, when did you wake up?" Chu Feng asked softly.

His face was very pale and his eyes bloodshot, Luo ZhouZhou immediately looked behind him at Qi Fen and found that his expression was also very unpleasant.

"Did you two have a fight?" Luo ZhouZhou asked.

Chu Feng didn't reply, but abruptly said, "I'm going to the bathroom. Then he hurriedly went out the door. As he reached the door, he tripped over something, stumbled, and hurriedly held onto the wall at his side. After steadying himself, he kept holding onto the wall and continued to walk out, as if his entire weight was resting on that hand.

"Ah we didn't fight, we just discussed something." Qi Fen looked in the other direction.

Luo ZhouZhou stared blankly at the door as Chu Feng left in such a hurry that the door was not even closed. After a while, he turned to Qi Fen and asked, "Director Qi, do I have some serious illness?"

Qi Fen quickly replied, "What nonsense, there is no such thing as a serious illness."

"Then why arent you looking at me?" Luo ZhouZhou asked.

Qi Fen turned to him sharply again and said, "What do you have to look at? Why should I look at you?"

Luo ZhouZhou said, "There is a bathroom in this room, but Chu Feng went out. And you're always so loud every time I say something, for no apparent reason."

"Am I?" Qi Fen growled and immediately lowered his voice, "You're talking nonsense."

"Director Qi, tell me, what kind of disease do I have?"

Qi Fen wiped his face and answered with difficulty, "Luo ZhouZhou, you are usually so stupid, why are you suddenly smart now?"

"Because I've always been smart," Luo ZhouZhou replied.

"Yes, you're clever, you're clever" Qi Fen said with a short laugh, but no smile on his face.

Luo ZhouZhou turned around, gently pulled the blanket on the bed, and asked softly, "Director, I got Sunset Face, right?"

"Don't talk nonsense. You just fainted because you were too tired. Chu Feng's voice came from the doorway. His hair was still wet, as if he had just rinsed it with water, and hung messily on his forehead.

Luo ZhouZhou sat down on the edge of the bed, his voice sounding calm, "I've been studying Sunset every day, how can I not be clear about it? Sunset Faces first symptoms included sudden deafness, blurred vision, and fainting, and I heard your conversation. What's in my blood? Is it the Sunset Virus? There is"

He didn't say anything else, because he saw Chu Feng's face getting paler with every word he said. He was now standing in the doorway, like a wax statue, with no color on his face. Chu Feng stared fixedly at Luo ZhouZhou with a deep sadness in his eyes.

Luo ZhouZhou saw his gaze clearly, and felt an invisible hand squeeze his heart, gripping it tightly.

"Then I'll leave first." Qi Fen didn't want to stay any longer, so he squeezed past Chu Feng and hurriedly left.

Luo ZhouZhou sat on the edge of the bed, looked at Chu Feng for a moment, and held out his hands to him. Chu Feng slowly came over, squatted down in front of the bed, hugged Luo ZhouZhou's waist, and buried his head in his chest.

In Luo ZhouZhou's heart, Chu Feng had always been strong and omnipotent, and nothing could bring him down. But now this Alpha in his arms, like a badly wounded wolf, was so weak that a finger could bring him down.

Gradually, he felt a warm liquid permeate his hospital gown, scalding the skin on his chest.

"Chu Feng, don't worry." Luo ZhouZhou stroked his hair and whispered, "Have you forgotten what my job is?" When Chu Feng didn't answer, Luo ZhouZhou pushed him on the shoulder and urged, "What's my job?"

In the darkness, he listened to the bedroom door being gently pushed open, Chu Feng taking off his jacket with a rustling of leather, then a corner of the blanket being lifted and the bed sinking in at his side.

Luo ZhouZhou didnt speak, and Chu Feng thought he was asleep. It was not until he had warmed himself under the blanket that he reached out and took Luo ZhouZhou into his arms. As soon as Luo ZhouZhou got close to the warmth and solidity of the chest, his nose became sore.

He automatically wrapped his arms around Chu Feng's waist, and his feet wrapped around him, binding him securely.

Chu Feng was startled and asked softly, "When did you wake up?"

"Been awake for a long time." Luo ZhouZhou pressed his face against his chest and spoke in a muffled voice. When Chu Feng didn't answer, he continued, "I went to look for you and saw you drinking on the rooftop, so I didn't call you."

"I haven't had a drink for a long time, so I couldn't sleep tonight. I was in the mood and didn't want to disturb you, so I went up alone. Sorry." Chu Feng said with an apology. He then asked, "It's cold up there, did you put on a coat?"

Luo ZhouZhou nodded his head.

Chu Feng spoke in a relaxed tone, "I haven't had a drink with SiHan for many days. It seems I need to drink more with him, or I won't be able to sleep."

Luo ZhouZhou didn't say anything, but Chu Feng patted his shoulder again, "Go to sleep."

Chu Feng put his chin on top of his head and closed his eyes.

After a minute or two of silence, Luo ZhouZhou suddenly spoke up, "Chu Feng, you don't have to act like you don't care in front of me. I know you are afraid that I will be sad, but I am really sad when I see you like this."

Chu Feng didn't say anything, and Luo ZhouZhou heard him sigh deeply. Luo ZhouZhou lifted his head from his arms and said, "You don't believe that I will get well, and think that I will die, do you?"

"Don't talk nonsense," Chu Feng retorted quietly, his voice stern.

"I'm not talking nonsense, you actually think so."

Luo ZhouZhou simply sat up and turned on the lamp beside him, and the warm, soft, reddish-orange light instantly illuminated the room. He looked intently at Chu Feng, saw him raise his hand to cover his eyes, and then pulled it down again.

"You think I'm going to die, so you want to spend more time with me in the meantime, and when I die, you'll have a lot of things to remember." Luo ZhouZhou's voice was still as clear and beautiful as ever, but the words he spat out for the first time pierced Chu Feng's heart like a sword.

"Zhou Zhou, don't guess wildly, I'm not thinking that way." He almost pleaded with Luo ZhouZhou in a weak voice.

Luo ZhouZhou, however, didnt give him a chance to escape and continued, "I know you are sad, Chu Feng, and I can imagine that kind of sadness. If it were you, I would want to die before you do, and I don't want to go through the pain of losing you."

Chu Feng reached out and pressed his hand against his heart, opening his mouth to take a huge breath, as if to squeeze a little air into his empty lungs.

"Trust me, okay? Believe in me." Luo ZhouZhou knelt down and moved forward a few steps, took Chu Feng's face in his hands, and pressed his fingers between his eyebrows, trying to smooth out his wrinkled brows.

Chu Feng let him move with his eyes closed, tears slowly sliding down his cheeks.

Luo ZhouZhou leaned closer, kissed the tears away with his lips, and whispered, "Believe me, I will try my best not to let you be sad for me. And don't pretend not to care in front of me, just cry if you want to, and then let me comfort you, okay?"

"Okay." Chu Feng said, choking up.

Luo ZhouZhou took his head into his arms, patted it gently and said, "Now then, you can cry now, I'm here, little baby, little treasure"

He used the names Chu Feng usually called him, calling lovingly.

Chu Feng, who was much taller than Luo ZhouZhou, leaned over in an awkward position, buried in the thin embrace. His hands spasmodically gripped the sheet at his side, gripping it tightly until his knuckles turned white and made a small noise.

Luo ZhouZhou patted him on the back, holding and rocking him gently. He knew he had been holding back all this time, and he hadn't been able to release those emotions until now.

He didn't know how long it took for Chu Feng to calm down.

They just snuggled and cuddled together, listening only to each other's heartbeat and breathing in their ears.

After a few more moments, Chu Feng slowly raised his head, his eyes no longer sad and burning brightly as if they were on fire.

"No more crying?" Luo ZhouZhou raised his hand to touch his face, but he clenched it midway.

"No more." Chu Feng added in a soft voice, "I wont cry anymore."

"Why?"

Chu Feng embraced him tightly in his arms, rested his chin on the top of his head and said, "You are right, sadness is because you don't have hope, Zhou Zhou, I want to work with you."

Luo ZhouZhou lifted his head in his arms with great difficulty and said, "I'm really not an ordinary Omega, I'm a vampire, you have to believe me."

"You werent an ordinary Omega in the first place, you are the most special and unique," Chu Feng replied.

Luo ZhouZhou looked him in the eyes and asked, "Do you mean it this time?"

"Sincerely."

Luo ZhouZhou thought, and then added, "If you can't stand it sometimes, you can still come and cry in my arms."

Chu Feng leaned down, reverently dropped a soft kiss on his forehead, and said, "Thank you, little vampire."
