As he took the bite, the fruit became liquid and seeped into his mouth. The next moment, a comfortable feeling like never before emerged in his heart as a wave of energy rushed through his body.

His heart was beating loudly in excitement as if something much more desirable was waiting for him there.
Huo Jinglin forcefully stopped his steps when he was only a few steps away from the exit, as it wasn't like him to take such risks after what had transpired to him. But soon after, he stopped hesitating and exited the room.
