Chapter 613

Chapter 613: Success!

“Store owner, I want this one,” Anna told Aakesh after deciding on what sword she wanted to buy.

Aakesh expressionlessly nodded and then gestured to Anna to put all other swords back in the column.

Since the sale was done from Aakesh’s side, it was time for Anna to do it.

Aakesh turned around and proceeded toward the exit of the weapons room while Anna silently followed him. Her face was red due to embarrassment, but her eyes said a different story.

There was a mixture of excitement and pain in her eyes. Excitement, due to the fact that she now had a new weapon and that too suggested by none other than the mysterious store owner, the most popular figure in the Bisan Kingdom, if not Visteerna. Pain, because she would get stripped of her savings now and had to start saving again.

Since Anna didn’t have any of the three cards, she needed to pay to the store owner.

After leaving the weapons room, Aakesh returned to his chair and comfortably sat down on it.

“You need to pay 152 ordinary Primal stones,” Aakesh then looked toward Anna and expressionlessly told her.

Anna nodded. She then took a deep breath, took out the required amount from her space ring, and handed it to Aakesh.

Aakesh waved his hands, and the next moment, the Primal stones disappeared from the store and went to the system’s space.

[Ding!]

The next moment, a wave of several electronic alerts started ringing inside his head, but Aakesh decided to stop them and asked the system to do it after the store closing time.

Aakesh then looked toward Anna, who now only had an excited expression on her face as she intently and cautiously touched every part of the sword. Since she had already paid for the weapon, there was no point in being disappointed or feeling pain for letting go of her savings. She must now only focus on the positive, and that was that she had gotten a great weapon and could use it to earn even more money.

“How well can you use your sword?” Aakesh suddenly asked Anna, almost shocking her out of her wits. If not for her somewhat quick reflexes, she would have gotten a cut on her finger due to sharpness.

Aakesh knew that Anna had only bought the sword since it was his words, despite her not having enough savings. Even though Aakesh had an obscene amount of Primal stones, he could understand the ordeal of Anna since he had seen many of the customers, despite liking a product, were not able to buy it due to the shortage of money.

Aakesh didn’t want to take advantage of Anna’s respect for him, so he decided to help her after she bought the sword.

Even though Anna didn’t know what was the purpose of the store owner asking such questions from her, she still answered, “I don’t know.”

“My father taught me an ordinary sword cultivation art when I was young. I haven’t battled much with the sword, so it’s hard to say,” Anna added.

Anna could train herself in battles in Panagea, but even Panagea demanded some talent and skill, she failed to learn there too. If not for her having some talent in alchemy, her spending in Panagea would have been a waste.

“Come here,” Aakesh expressionlessly called her.

Anna didn’t know what was happening, but before she could, her head out of her volition bent down and went near Aakesh’s fingers.

Anna felt horrified in her heart, but soon she calmed down since she had seen that the store owner had no evil feelings toward her.

Aakesh didn’t care for what she felt and slightly tapped in the area between her eyebrows.

‘BOOM!’

Anna felt an explosion in her mind as a wave of pain attacked her.

Anna crashed to the ground and started squirming like a fish when its put on the ground.

The process continued for a few seconds.

When Anna woke up, she found Aakesh still sitting on his chair, but he had his eyes closed.

Anna then stood up, but she was only halfway when she crashed to the ground as she found an additional memory in her head.

Anna couldn’t comprehend most of what was inside that piece of memory, but from what she could understand, she knew that it was a high-level sword cultivation art.

Anna stood blank for some time as she couldn’t process just what had happened to her today. First, she got late by a few seconds, so she missed the first group of customers in Panagea.

Instead of the day getting worse from here, she found the mysterious store owner looking for her. He then helped her buy one top-quality sword. It wasn’t the end as she got a high-level sword cultivation art, which was impossible for someone of her status and wealth to buy.

Anna then looked toward Aakesh with a myriad feelings in her eyes. She didn’t know why would the store owner help her so much. The question of the store owner having feelings for her rose in her heart, but instead of someone else rebuking her, Anna did it herself. She could see complete indifference in the store owner’s eyes whenever he looked at her, even when he was helping her purchase the sword.

Anna couldn’t believe her luck for what had happened today, but since she couldn’t explain the reason behind it, Anna decided to take it as nothing but one of the unrepayable favors from the store owner.

Anna wanted to thank Aakesh, but since he had his eyes closed. Anna only mouthed the word thanks, while bowing such that her head almost touched the ground.

There was also a hint of tears in her eyes as the sword cultivation art Aakesh had given her could help her change her family’s situation. If Anna utilized it efficiently, she wouldn’t have to worry about Primal stones.

‘I hope that someday I will be able to repay your favor,’ Anna thought in her heart. She then exited the store and left for her house since she didn’t have a mind to enter Panagea. She wanted to learn as much as possible from the sword cultivation art during the week and only then return to the store to show the store owner that his help didn’t go to waste.
