Chapter 597

Chapter 597: Another Higher-Dimensional Customer!

Aakesh was relaxing on his chair when he heard footsteps approaching him. He had no choice but to open his eyes.

After opening his eyes, Aakesh saw the identity of the being approaching him.

The being had neither met the store nor did Aakesh meet them even once, and yet Aakesh knew the identity of the figure.

The person standing in front of Aakesh had a humanoid structure with a pair of legs, hands, eyes, and ears. But there was no similar feature in the man’s body.

His one hands were like the claws of an eagle, and the other was lion paws without the sharp nails. One leg had an ox hoof, while the other was a horse hoof.

The figure had one eye with a red pupil with the black sclera, while the other was a golden pupil with the silver sclera.

Aakesh recognized the being since there was no other creature similar to it in the Primal dimension, nor did its race originate from here.

The creature standing in front of Aakesh was the Chimera that Aakesh had heard about several months ago from Joyce.

Joyce had arrived in the store to ask Aakesh for help in fighting against the Chimera and Erica the Titan, who had the strength of Void beasts in her hands.

At that time, Aakesh had refused to help Joyce, stating that the Void beasts would take action if the Chimera’s existence turned out to be harmful to the Primal dimension.

Fortunately for both the Hygar race and the Primal dimension, Joyce’s worry turned out to be unfounded as Erica never used the Chimera to attack the race or the Universes under their control after the first attack that had made the Hygars worry for their future.

The first attack wasn’t the intention of Erica but the Chimera. It had heard about the issue between the Titan race and the Hygar race, so to protect its mother, the Chimera had attacked one of the Universes under control of the Hygar race in its own volition, resulting in the death of several peak Immortal and countless innocent lives.

The Chimera had plans to attack the Hygar race, but Erica stepped in and controlled it from creating any additional trouble to the already negative relationship between the races.

Even though the Hygar race lost several of its members, which was a first for them since their arrival to the Primal dimension, after seeing the strength of the other side, the Hygars controlled themselves from turning the troubling situation into a full-fledged war after claiming some remuneration from Erica.

The Chimera didn’t say anything right away, but it looked around the store after stopping in its steps.

The Chimera’s surprise grew bigger with each passing moment as it looked around.

Despite its powerful mental strength, it couldn’t peer through the wall on any side of the store. It could see there were two open rooms in the store, but when it tried to look inside, the Chimera faced the same situation similar to what it had encountered at the entry gate of the store. It knew there were things beyond the door, but no matter what it tried, it couldn’t see or hear anything that was happening past the gate.

“Why can’t I see anything beyond the door or walls here?” The Chimera asked as it finally gave up on trying to see through. Its tone contained both majesty and humbleness.

Majesty for its bloodline belonged to the third dimension, and humbleness, for it couldn’t see through the walls or the doors despite being a higher-dimensional creature.

“You’re weak,” Aakesh expressionlessly responded.

Only those who were more powerful than the system could see through the walls or doors.

The Chimera, instead of feeling offended, nodded as it also believed that its being weak was the reason behind its not being able to achieve what it desired.

“How much more powerful do I need to be to accomplish this?” The Chimera asked Aakesh.

The Chimera knew that it was not a native of the Primal dimension but a higher dimension, but it didn’t know how strong the people of that place were. It only had bloodline memory which only told it that it wasn’t even a dust particle when compared with the strength of that place, but not the specific.

Aakesh didn’t answer this time and only expressionlessly stared toward the Chimera. He was operating a store here, so he did not need to answer any questions related to anything other than the store products and its sale.

The Chimera understood what Aakesh’s silence meant, so it didn’t ask any further questions related to its power.

“What products do you sell in this store?” The Chimera then asked. It had come here after learning about the store from Eris, Erica’s brother. Eris didn’t tell it much about the store, but only that the store was mysterious and could help it grow in strength by paying money and without any fear of death.

It had gotten involved with the power gap between it and the store after entering here, but now that Aakesh had stopped answering its questions, it came to its primary purpose.

Aakesh didn’t stay silent like the last time since the question was now related to the store.

“The store currently has three products to sell.”

“First, pills. Second, weapons. Third, Samrat Dasham…,”

“…Sold by the store,” Aakesh concluded with the introduction of the store products.

The Chimera had a solemn face as he savored all the information he had gotten from Aakesh about the store products in his head.

After listening to the store product’s introduction, the Chimera knew which products Eris referred to when he talked about the store helping him grow in strength without any fear of death just by paying Primal stones.

The Chimera was also from the third dimension like Dotta and Lilith, but Dotta and Lilith were born there, whereas the Chimera was born here. So Dotta and Lilith paid no interest to the training area, but the same wasn’t the case for the Chimera.

The training area could help its strength grow marginally, while its cultivation level might see a minuscule cultivation growth for someone of his level only in the rarest cases.
