Chapter 580

Chapter 580: A Huge Disappointment!

Since Aakesh couldn’t get the answer he wanted from the system, Aakesh stopped thinking about it and pushed it to the future when he would have sufficient authority to know things he wanted to know about his past.

Time flew by.

Lilith finally stopped her conversation with Aakesh since she was going to be here for several centuries and would have all the time to talk to Aakesh. For the moment, she wanted to enter Panagea and check just what was inside it that attracted her so much that she would think of descending to the Primal dimension for it.

Lilith bought the supreme card from the store since an inferior or supreme Primal stone was similar to her.

She then transferred supreme Primal stones inside her card and went to the portal room to have her first experience inside Panagea.

It wasn’t only Lilith that was excited about entering Panagea, but Aakesh was also excited about it. Even though he didn’t show it on the outside, he still was.

Aakesh still remembered how he wanted Lilith to buy a product from the store during her previous arrivals just so he could use the skill, Watcher, to check her life. But he would fail every time as she showed no interest in other products, and Panagea had no empty virtual portals left.

Since Lilith had now bought one store product, Aakesh could check her past life using the skill Watcher.

Aakesh then activated the skill since he couldn’t see any new arrival inside the store or even outside where only he could see it.

The next moment, a black screen only visible to Aakesh appeared in front of him.

The screen lightened up not long after as a scene started playing on it.

The next moment, a dumbfounded expression appeared on Aakesh’s face as he looked at the scene playing out on the screen.

On the screen, Lilith suddenly appeared in the darkness of the space and then teleported into a familiar place to Aakesh. It was nothing other than the outside of the store. Lilith then stepped into the store, and soon Aakesh could see the earlier him opening his eyes on the screen.

Aakesh waved his hands in disappointment as the skill Watcher showed him the past of Lilith’s clone, not the actual her.

(A/N: Many must be wondering, if it’s Lilith’s clone, then what was the point of writing about Lilith choosing to spend her three-day vacation here? Don’t worry, your dear author, the almighty me, is here. Even though it’s Lilith’s clone with not even 1% of the power held by the real her, she had still sent her consciousness here, and the remaining consciousness would be used to watch the events in real-time, not like knowing what would happen after the clone joined with the actual her.)

The next moment, light particles started moving away from the screen, and in no time, the screen disappeared, waiting for Aakesh to call it again.

Aakesh then returned to another of his relaxation session, waiting to wake up when a new customer or a customer who didn’t own any cards arrived.

Time flew by.

Suddenly, a door appeared in the store, and soon, a figure stepped out of it and stepped down the stairs connecting the door to the floor.

Aakesh opened his eyes as Lily jumped on his head.

“I finally won the war,” Lily suddenly told Aakesh. Her voice contained both excitement and exhaustion.

Lily had been in a war inside Panagea for the last thirty years, and today, she finally killed the enemy leader and won her first war.

After giving up his commission over the training area, Aakesh made Lily a kind of hybrid in Panagea. She had the unlimited revival ability of the adventurers, and at the same time, she was also an inhabitant of the world, Panagea.

Being a local of the world didn’t sound good as it snatched the ability to retain any of the ten Emperor’s inheritance since only the adventurers were eligible for it, but it also had its advantages.

Lily always had the ambition to conquer and live like a ruler, so when she had a sufficient number of underlings, she initiated a war to conquer a territory.

The territory belonged to a Kingdom, but since Lily was a local, only the ruler of the land was in conflict with her, not the entire Kingdom.

The Kingdom would only send soldiers if Lily broke the rule of the warfare.

There were only two rules when it came to warfare in Panagea. First, don’t harm the civilians, and second, stay away from the farms and industries.

It was cruel for the Kingdom not to intervene despite the nobles being loyal to the throne, but the world was as it was. It was never fair to anyone. The powerful not only made the rules but also broke them. It was weak that had to follow these rules.

If there were an adventurer in place of Lily, then they would have faced the might of the entire Kingdom even if they attempted to snatch a part of the land which wasn’t visible to the naked eyes, let alone a large territory.

After warring with the baron for thirty years, Lily finally won control over a territory spanning over eighty thousand sq. miles.

The territory was the roughest portion of the Kingdom, but it still took Lily thirty years to conquer it, despite the Kingdom not interfering in the conflict. Lily still was excited since it was her first successful step to ruling the entire Panagea one day.

A smile spread across Aakesh’s face after hearing about the success story of Lily.

“Tomorrow, I have to vow my allegiance to the throne, and I would become an official ruler in the eyes of the people,” Lily added as winning the war was only the first step.

Even though the Kingdom didn’t interfere in the war if the invader followed the two golden rules, it didn’t mean that the Kingdom wouldn’t demand loyalty from the winning party.

If Lily refused, the Kingdom would attack. If Lily accepted, she would get a noble title personally from the King.

“Do what you think is correct,” Aakesh replied as he didn’t want to influence Lily’s decision. She wanted to rule, so it was her decision how she wanted to do it, not him.
