Chapter 558

Chapter 558: Journey to the End(14)

“I choose the first option,” Aakesh informed the system.

Even though the opportunity to gain another flurry of physical attributes was a wonderful situation, Aakesh still decided to go ahead with the first option.

He already had his physical attributes touching the mark of three billion Primal units, and it put him at the top of the food chain in the Primal dimension. Aakesh could also increase his stats while battling in the virtual training, but the opportunity of getting an elemental bead may not arise until several years later.

Considering this, Aakesh chose the first option and told the system.

The system didn’t say anything in response to Aakesh’s choice but instead acted.

The next moment, the warm energy flowing across Aakesh’s body disappeared.

Aakesh felt uncomfortable as if his body had grown dry, but the feeling didn’t last for long, and everything returned to normal.

Since the skill Energy Overseer was active, Aakesh noticed that the speed at which the elements flew toward him had increased at an exponential rate. Even though the elemental energy disappeared after entering Aakesh’s body, he didn’t feel anything.

Soon, the energy around the area disappeared in its entirety as Aakesh found himself standing in a barren environment. But Aakesh had no time to focus on it, as a stone the size of a peanut had appeared in his hands.

Aakesh couldn’t help but nod in appreciation as the white stone in his hands shined with all its splendor.

(A/N: It’s white as every color has joined together to form the stone.)

Aakesh then put the pseudo-elemental bead into his pocket space and focused on his surroundings.

After all the energy present in the environment disappeared in its entirety, all the colors present in the area vanished. Instead, the scene became black and white in front of Aakesh.

As if it wasn’t the end, Aakesh noticed an incredulous scene.

The black and white scenery started separating into two respective colors, but for some reason, Aakesh still saw his surroundings as black and white.

The separation of colors finally stopped as black covered half of the scenery while white covered the other half.

The process still hadn’t come to an end.

In front of Aakesh, the black sight and the white scenery started moving away from each other, creating a separation between them. In the separation, Aakesh saw nothing but darkness, devoid of everything.

Instead of feeling solemn, Aakesh had an excited expression as he could sense what was beyond the separation.

His efforts for the past forty-nine years hadn’t come to a naught, as the light finally appeared in the darkness.

Even though Aakesh stood millions, if not billions of km away from the separation between the black and white, he saw everything beyond it as if he was standing next to it.

Since there were no restrictions on Aakesh after the appearance of the Veidrodis, Aakesh didn’t even have to walk as he teleported himself right at the gate.

He would’ve teleported right through the separation, but it didn’t allow him, so Aakesh had to stop there and then proceed.

Aakesh’s face returned to its usual expressionless feature as he took a step forward and stepped into the separation.

“So, what brings you here?” The stall owner sitting on his stall casually asked Carlos standing in front of him.

Carlos had an expressionless face as he pointed at the item that interested him this time and forced him to come to talk to the wretched stall owner again.

“Oh, It’s the 48th Gradient Flower,” The stall owner smiled and informed Carlos.

Carlos still had an expressionless face and continued staring at the stall owner without speaking even a word.

“Don’t look at me like that. I am not that beautiful,” A bashful expression appeared on the stall owner’s face as he responded to the chilling stare from Carlos.

“If you want it, you need to bring me the head of the mayor,” The bashful expression disappeared on the stall owner’s face after getting no reaction from Carlos. He then informed Carlos about his condition if Carlos wanted the 48th Gradient Flower.

After hearing the condition, Carlos didn’t stand there and left straight away.

“I forgot to tell you that the mayor loves torturing people,” The stall owner grinningly commented, still looking at the spot where Carlos was a moment earlier as if the stall owner hadn’t noticed Carlos leaving away.

The next moment, the stall owner and the stall also disappeared.

“Do you also have a strong ancestor?” Oxen asked the trembling being in front of him.

Since he had appeared here, he had to create the mightiest sect if he wanted to leave the world and reach the ruler’s territory.

The world he was in was like an infinite loop.

When he killed the sect-owner of the nearest sect to gain its control, a few days later, the father attacked him, forcing Oxen to run with his family.

When Oxen somehow killed the father, he gained a new sect even more powerful than the previous one in his control, taking him one step closer to his goal. But his happiness didn’t last for long as a few days later, the father of the father appeared and attacked him, forcing him to run with his family again.

Oxen had been repeating this process again. First, Oxen would kill someone. Then their family member would arrive and force him to run. He would train and grow powerful, and the process would repeat.

“Hmph, my grandmother is a descendant of the Emperor’s chariot driver. Kneel in front of me, and I would give you and your family a clean death,” Hearing the question, the trembling figure grew over-excited and arrogantly told about the identity of his ancestor.

Oxen could only sigh as he slapped the figure, resulting in instant death.

“Let’s see where we can run this time,” Oxen then mumbled as he was already aware of what was to happen next.

“Who dared to do this to you?” A childlike voice mixed with anger and killing intent rang in the area.

It was Lily. She currently sat on a throne while a severely injured figure was kneeling in front of her.

Before the figure could answer, the world started shaking.

The shaking phenomenon wasn’t fixed only to where Lily was, but everyone that had entered the point was facing it.
