Chapter 221 - Bed rest

After checking on the tiny Braxton in Biyu's stomach, they went back to the mansion. 

Jasper and Biyu took a separate car, so that they can have privacy at least for few more minutes. 

Jasper knows that he will not get his quality time with his wife anymore. As Biyu will be the center of attention for this seven months, he is very well aware of his future. 

He will not even get some quality time with her. 

Meanwhile…..

Biyu has a beautiful smile on her face as she softly caressed her flat stomach. She couldn't help imagine how she will look with swollen stomach and chubby cheeks. 

She closed her eyes peacefully and leaned her head against Jasper's shoulder. And, as soon he felt her touch, Jasper wrapped his arms around her protectively and gently pulled her into his lap. 

His hands reached for her stomach and he entwined his fingers with his wife's cold ones, softly touching the stomach.

"Hmm… I still can't believe" Jasper whispered softly as his thoughts drifted to the events awaiting for both of them in future. 

One and half year back, he never even imagined that he will fall in love with a girl and get married. 

He didn't even think in his dreams that he will become father this soon. Though he is already thirty one, he never thought of even getting into relationship with anyone.

Everything happened so fast, but he never regretted it. 

Biyu chuckled and pecked his lips. "Its hard for me to believe it too" she said, burying her face under his chin. "As it's our child, I will protect this little innocent from everything, no matter what the obstacles are" she said looking up at him. 

Jasper couldn't help but feel like his heart will burst out with overwhelming love. 

He lifted her chin and fervently crashed his lips against hers. 

Soon the kiss became too intense that Jasper is almost hovering over her, while he continued attacking her lips. 

Biyu could just surrender and let him do whatever he wanted and she understood how emotional he is right now. 

"I love you honey" he said and then then soothed her swollen lips with his tongue. 

Biyu breathed heavily, her chest raising up and down as she leaned on him for support. Right now, she couldn't even muster energy to speak.  

Meanwhile the driver didn't understand what's happening behind. He can just guess that their employers are busy in their own world. 

However, he could only take them to the mansion.

Inside the mansion 

Everyone are excitingly waiting for the news as they sat in the living room, eagerly looking at door at least once in a minute. 

And, as soon as Jean came inside, everyone stood, expecting her to answer. 

However, Jean feigned her indifferent face and ignored them before rushing back upstairs. 

"What happened to my daughter? She is acting weird" Julian asked. 

Scott shrugged his shoulders. "Might be disappointed" he guessed. 

Scarlett, their daughter looked up at Scott. "How is Aunty? Did something happen to her that mom got upset. Ty almost fainted today" she said, pouting. 

Her concern evident on her face. 

Scott leaned down and patted his daughter's head. "Aunty will be here soon with uncle Jasper" he said, ruffling her hair. 

Scarlett nodded her head and sprinted back to her brother Jason. He is the eldest child of all of them. 

"Brother, lift me up" she said, suddenly remembering how they used to play before. 

However, since the time he came, Jason is acting weird and distant. 

Jason frowned bit compiled to his request and lifted her up. Scarlet chuckled when she got to hold on to low ceiling staircase. 

She held the railing and swinger her body to get to the other side. Then she chuckled and ran back to her room.

However, Jason looked at her as if this is the first time he is seeing her doing this.

And, after ten minutes ….

Jasper and Biyu came inside. Jasper is holding Biyu very firmly. 

He is angry a little bit. 

In midst of their journey back to mansion, Mia who is personal doctor allotted to Biyu has called him. 

Mia is also like a sister  to Jasper and if there is someone besides his family, she will be the first one he will trust. 

He knew her since he is four years old toddler. 

However, what she informed has made Jasper frown. His forehead marred with wrinkles and he pursed his lips sadly, by the end of the call. 

Mia informed him that fetus is still so weak and Biyu has to take care of her health properly. 

As someone who knows about the situation the couple are currently in, she insisted him not to let Biyu stress herself out and exhaust her kind. 

And, that was one of the reason why Jean hurried upstairs to her study room.

As Mia forwarded her the reports, she went hastily to analyze them. 

Seeing Jasper's concerned face, Biyu didn't ask him anything. She just obediently let him do whatever he wanted. 

He even carried her all the way into the room and when he saw everyone, it is only when he let her go. 

But he held her tight to him.

So, when others saw Biyu and Jasper, they couldn't help but think something bad happened. 

"Princess,  are you fine. What happened??" Julian, Jasper's father asked concernedly. 

Biyu couldn't help but chuckle inwards. "I am fine dad. Buy it is just that there is a bun inside of me" she said.

"Oh! That's i-" he was about to say, it isn't a big deal but when he realized the meaning of her words, it is when his voice stuttered. 

"Yo… you are pregnant??" Julian asked his daughter in law as he looked at her emotionally. 

Biyu nodded her head, tears brimmed in her eyes.

"Thanks a lot, princess. I am gonna become grandfather again… I am excited" he laughed happily. 

Jasper pouted. 

See…

It started. 

His wife is snatched away from him as soon as they entered the room.

"Hello!! excuse me, but, you should thank me as well. I did most of the work here and you just thank my wife. It's unfair" he said. 

Biyu blushed but she got used to this naughtiness of him. 

"You did great work son" Julian said. Just, that's it. 

"Congrats you both. Let's hope for boys" Scott deliberately teased. And, everyone burst out laughing. 

While everyone are happily celebrating the pre arrival of new family member, Jason, the eighteen years old son of Jean and Scott is seeing them indifferently. 

After staring at them for a while he turned away and went.

At late evening, Jean asked everyone to gather in the garden where, the outdoor dining area was already decorated by lightning's.   

It is to celebrate with the dinner and to also alert everyone about complications in Biyu's pregnancy. 

However, no children were allowed. 

Biyu who just slept the whole after noon in Jasper's embrace woke up with peaceful mind. 

Then she freshened up and Jasper took her to the garden. And, as soon as Biyu saw the arrangements her eyes teared up.

'Baby, look at this…. You have the best of best family ij this world. You will be so lucky just like me to get them' she talked to her baby though she knows that it is pointless. 

Just in a span of half day, everyone prepared their own gifts for the soon to be mother. 

One of them has modified Biyu's closet while the other, gathered all the best books for soon to be mother. 

Their gifts weren't expensive or too unique to show off. They are just some valuable things needed for pregnant women to take care of herself. 

As it's given with pure intentions and good will, they are the most valuable things to heart. 

"Eve, you will just get this dinner with all your favorite dishes. However, from tomorrow you must follow your diet" Jean said, as all of them helped by serving each other. 

They just asked some of the most loyal maids to stay behind. However, for Biyu, Jean insisted on taking care of her. 

She doesn't want anything to happen to Biyu or the baby. Jasper will not be able to handle that if something happens to his family. And, neither can she. 

"From today night, you have to be in bed rest, Eve. It might be uncomfortable for whole two weeks but as Mia said, fetus isn't that healthy. But we can fix this with constant care and by avoiding stress" Jean tenderly said.

Everyone looked at Jean and then Biyu who is nodding her in understanding. 

"Don't worry princess. No one can touch you and our tiny Braxton without crossing us first. You will be safe and we will surely catch that bastard soon" Julian said. 

"Dad words!!!" Jean chided her father. "There is a tiny Braxton who might be extraordinary enough inside" she joked.
