Chapter 395 - Family Reunion...

If he could decide, he didn't want anyone around his wife. But since Tanaga was funding his research and projects, he had to concur.

"Yes, sir. Dr. Garcia, I can assure you that I will abide by your rules. The last thing I'd want to do is to embarrass my employers. I'll use my free time to learn from Mrs. Garcia. She's my idol and will stay just that. I'd also like to thank you for your kindness," Sato reassured.

Mrs. Garcia was grinning from ear to ear. She had liked Sato since the moment she had first met him. Of course, she had no interest in him in any romantic way, but she had noticed that while she was giving him a tour of her company, he had shown an interest in nearly everything. She had thought of taking him under her wing and making him her assistant if Ashley allowed it. If the time came, she would ask, but now was not the time.

Ashley had fully noticed this and whispered in her ear, "If you want him to be your assistant, I can talk to my husband about letting him go. I could always find another assistant in the future. I know this is his long time dream, and he'd be the best of help. Think about my offer, and let me know if you're interested, okay?"

Mrs. Garcia was stunned to hear Ashley's words. She didn't even know how to bring up the topic in front of Ashley suddenly, but Ashley had just offered her Sato as her new assistant. She sheepishly smiled and embraced Ashley.

"Thank you so much! I will surely think about this offer and let you know my final decision," she whispered back.

Just in time, Chef Sander's assistant walked in to inform them that their lunch was now ready.

Everyone made their way to the dining room, only to be stunned that there was no food on the table.

They exchanged a look, completely confused about what was going on until the sound of clapping was heard.

Everyone turned to see Chef Sander entering the room from the door leading to the garden.

"Everyone, if you all are wondering where the food is, please follow me. This is a surprise, so, everyone, this way!" He exclaimed as he opened the door leading towards the garden, leaving it open for everyone to pass by.

Of course, Chef Sander had done this all to impress Sato. He had created a magnificent feast for all of them out in the garden. The setting was breathtakingly beautiful, while the table was laid with all types of food. It was a feast good enough for royalty.

Everyone was speechless, including Sato, who's gaze looked back and forth at the food on the table, and the man who made it. It was unbelievable that something this beautiful could even be made. And sad that the food would soon disappear.

In the middle of the garden stood a fountain, and an ice sculpture of two swans, with champagne glasses surrounding it. One long table which was set elegantly had delicious food laid on top of it and was topped off with music playing in the background.

"What is this?" asked Dr. Garcia curiously.

"Don't ask, just enjoy it and thank Chef Sander for his hard work," whispered Mrs. Garcia, who had taken her husband's hands in hers.

That's all that Dr. Garcia needed, and a smile procured on his face before turning his attention to Chef Sander.

"Chef, Sander! Thank you for your unexpected surprise and for cooking up these delicious dishes for us to feast on today. If you are done with work, why don't you join us as well," offered Mrs. Garcia?

Chef Sander happily agreed, quickly walking to Sato and wrapping his arm around him. He didn't care what other people thought, and by what he did next. That was very clear. He grabbed Sato's arm and pulled him towards the table, making him sit next to each other.

Tanaga brows rose when he saw what Chef Sander had done. It was only after he realized that he didn't have to worry about another man going after his wife; he simply smiled.

Everyone sat down and took their places at the table. Once they were all seated, Dr. Garcia raised his glass, proposing a toast.

"To CEO Jones' recovery, and to a discovery that might change the world as we know it! Cheers, everyone!"

Everyone raised their glasses as they all said the same word in perfect unison.

"Cheers!"

The next day, Ashley and Tanaga flew back to Houston, which was also the day Dr. Garcia and Dr. Green began creating the serum for Tanaga.

Meanwhile, Chef Sander was overjoyed when he found out that Sato would be staying in the Spaniard Kingdom instead of returning to Houston. This would give them more time to get to know each other properly.

Mrs. Garcia had already let Sato shadow her at work, deciding to teach him more about the fashion industry and designing when they returned home for the night.

Meanwhile, Ashley and Tanaga had first stopped by where grandmother Hanada was staying and picked her up. They brought her back to Houston along with them, so they could spend some time together, and with Ashley's family as well. But when it was time for them to return to the Spaniard Kingdom, it was grandma Hanada's decision if she wanted to stay in Houston or return to the facility she had once resided at.

It was already dinner time when they arrived back home. Everyone was already there, waiting for their arrival.

And when 'everyone' was there, it really was 'everyone.' Butler Ruffy, Fely, Jessie, Arnold, Arnel, even the twins (and their governess) were there.

Tanaga had also called Tanaka and Koji to come over and have dinner with them, and they ended up arriving at the same time Ashley and Tanaga did.

Grandmother Hanada was fully prepared to meet her other grandson, and when she saw Tanaka, tears began to flow in her eyes when he came over to give her a tight embrace.

"Grandma! You're here!" Tanaga uttered as tears dripped down his face.

"There's nothing to cry about. Now that you're back in my arms, I could die happy." She bantered. Tanaga was not happy about her words.

"Grandma, don't you dare say those kinds of words! Now that I'm back, I'll make sure that you stay healthy," said Tanaka proudly.
