Chapter 327 - Do You Love Me Or Not?

When the lady heard what Koji had said, while still continuing to kiss him, she raised her hand and motioned for the two bodyguards to leave already. The two listened to their lady boss and quickly left the room before standing in front of the door to guard it.

After an hour had gone by, the lady exited the room with a bewitching smile plastered on her face. "You can't escape from me now. If you won't be mine… no one will have you. At the same time, if I cannot obtain you… then-President Hanada ain't bad at all," the lady whispered to herself while exiting the room.

When Koji woke up the next day, he had absolutely no memory of what happened last night; the only thing he knew was that he was very drunk. As a matter of fact, his headache was quite severe because of the amount of alcohol he had drunk. He didn't even know how he managed to reach his own room.

After he took a shower and dressed, the headache subsided quickly enough for him to make a call to the front desk and talk to the front desk manager.

"Find out who brought me here to my room last night. I want to see the surveillance camera," Koji gently said to the front desk manager.

"I will try my best. If I find anything, I will contact you immediately," the front desk manager replied before hanging up the telephone.

Koji decided to have breakfast while waiting for the call from the front desk. Right after he finished eating breakfast, he was reading a newspaper when his phone rang.

"Hello, President Hanada speaking."

"Good morning, President Hanada. This is the General Manager of the Hotel. I was informed that you wanted to find out who had brought you back to your room last night?"

"Yes, did you find out?" His voice was gentle, but his forehead already had folded.

"I apologize, President Hanada, but for some reason, there is a gap in the recording of the video surveillance last night. It's kind of funny because it was only during the time when you went up to your room. How odd is that?" the General Manager replied, obviously nervous judging from the tone of his voice.

The General Manager was afraid since the person he was talking to was a VIP and hence should not be taken lightly. But he didn't have any choice as the one who ordered the erasure of the video surveillance was the daughter of the owner of the hotel itself. He didn't want to lose his job – that's why he couldn't tell the truth to President Hanada.

"You're right, that's odd. Well, things happen so don't worry about it. The only reason I was asking is, I want to thank the person that took me back to the room. That's all. Thank you!" Then Koji hung up the telephone.

When the General Manager heard the reply of President Hanada, he breathed a sigh of relief after the talk ended. "What kind of prank did the Madam do to this VIP customer?" the General Manager muttered to himself before returning to his job.

Koji was not born yesterday to not realize that someone intentionally deleted the surveillance videos. He guessed who it was since they were the owner of the hotel. His head suddenly ached again because of his overthinking on why that person did it.

In the end, he decided to just go to the office and report to Tanaga. After he had reported, he was planning to return back to Japan so that he could avoid being hurt again. Seeing the married couple together and happily flirting with each other would be unbearable for him.

Meanwhile, at Tanaga and Ashley's house, they were having a rather joyous breakfast together with the whole family. Everyone was excited at the fact that Ashley and Tanaga would remarry each other at church. Grandma Hanada wanted it as soon as possible.

"What do you guys think? We will do the wedding next month. It will give us enough time to prepare and tell your three brothers to attend your wedding." Grandma Hanada was looking at Ashley while talking.

When Ashley didn't answer, Tanaga gave her an elbow. "Ash! Look, Grandma is talking to you," Tanaga whispered to Ashley before going back to eating.

"Yes? Are you saying something?" Ashley asked the old lady. She didn't hear what the old lady told her because she was spacing out. She was thinking about the IMPA convention which she needed to attend within a week. She was thinking whether Tanaga would be coming with her or if he would be returning back to Japan. That's why she didn't hear what Grandma Hanada was talking about.

"I said, it might be better if Tan and your wedding will happen the very next month, at church. I think the preparation for the church would be quite fast. About the venue… leave it to me. So, what do you think?" Grandma Hanada was still excited even when she was waiting for Ashley's answer.

Tanaga, on the other hand, was not paying any attention and still continuing to eat like the conversation wasn't related to him. Ashley looked at Tanaga who looked unconcerned. "Grandma, I think it's best if we won't have a church wedding. It would be more important to have the christening of the twins first. After that let's talk again about this topic." She then looked at Tanaga. "Right, Tan? After all, you are still recovering and need more time, right?" Ashley asked while her eyes were begging to help him.

Tanaga, who was pretending to be unconcerned with what was happening, suddenly raised his brows when he heard what Ashley said. It was his first time to realize that Ashley had no plan to have a church wedding from the way she spoke. That's why when he answered, it appeared that he was quite irritated and angry, from the tone of his voice.

"What are you asking? Ah! About the church wedding, well… Anyway, we are running late for work, aren't we? Why not just talk about this some other day?" Then he stood up and threw his used napkin down the table and went upstairs to his room to prepare to leave.
