Chapter 304 - President Hanada-Side Story

Tony – the leader of the elite group – kicked President Hanada's stomach. "Stand up! Someone wants to talk to you."

President Hanada gradually opened his eyes and stared coldly at Tony. He stood up slowly because of what he did a few days ago. He attempted to kill himself, but unfortunately, it didn't happen because he was caught by his guard that day.

It had been six months since he was locked there, and he still didn't know the motives of the person who locked him up there. He didn't even have any news on if the ambush on Tanaga led to his death or not.

He also didn't know if his family was searching for him or if they thought that he escaped and hid himself. As he lost hope of getting his freedom back, he decided to think of a way to finish his hard time.

President Hanada tried to smash his head onto the wall, but before he ended up killing himself, he was stopped by his ward and was given a calm shot. His hands, feet, and even his head were confined onto the bed, preventing him from another suicide attempt.

He was unconscious for one day. When he woke up the other day, he was threatened that if he attempted to kill himself again, his family's death would be the price. President Hanada promised not to ever do it again for the sake of his family.

When he completely stood up, President Hanada was blindfolded and guided by a leader to be brought to where a person wanted to talk to him.

He was helped to sit on a chair and handcuffs were put around his wrists. In a few minutes, he heard footsteps walking in front of him. He also heard a loud noise, like someone just pulled a chair; he could tell that someone was sitting in front of him. Since he was blindfolded, he couldn't see the face of the man in front of him.

"President Hanada, how are you?" the man in front of him asked. It was the first time he heard this voice so he couldn't recognize it.

President Hanada didn't reply; instead, he sat straight and was ready to listen to what the person in front of him was going to say.

"I have a doc.u.ment here that I want you to sign. It states that you are the mastermind of the killing attempt on CEO Tanaga Jones and Chairwoman Hanada of THJ Group. If you're worried that you are going to be sent to jail… hahaha! We won't do that!" The mysterious person laughed.

"This is another reminder that you won't ever go back to Japan while you're still breathing. After we finish talking, you will sail on a ship that will bring you to an island. You are to live there for as long as you live. I'm warning you – the island is under my governance. If you attempt on escaping or killing yourself, mark my words: I'll be the cause of your death and your family's death." The man President Hanada was talking to threatened him while putting the paper on the table in front of him.

"Sign it so that you can leave later." Then he placed the paper in front of him and gave the ballpen in his handcuffed hand before he stood up behind President Hanada.

"Don't you ever look, or else I'll kill you now and your family next the moment you even see a glimpse of my face."

President Hanada just nodded and removed his blindfold. He signed the papers immediately and after that, the blindfold was put back on his swollen eyes.

When he heard that the man was leaving, President Hanada couldn't help but ask hoarsely, "Can I know if he is still alive or not?"

"Hahaha! Why do you want to know? So that you'll feel relieved? I'm sorry but I can't tell you. Farewell!" The man then left and audibly shut the door.

President Hanada became anxious when the man didn't tell him if Tanaga was dead or not. Even in the last six months of being prisoned there, if Tanaga was still alive, the President wouldn't stop until his target is dead. But if he's already dead, it would be better. They'd just meet in hell.

Minutes passed and the door opened again. Tony approached him. A rice sack was put over his head. "Stand up!" Tony was accompanied by his two comrades that guide President Hanada.

They walked for over ten minutes before they reached the elevator. He heard the elevator stop from descending. Then-President Hanada was guided to enter a car.

The bag covering his head wasn't removed even when they were inside the car, so he didn't know where they were nor where they were going. When the car stopped, Tony ordered the two people to help President Hanada come out of the car. Each of them held his arms and pulled him.

The two didn't let go of President Hanada until they stepped into the ship and put him in one of the cabins that had no windows. Tony removed the bag of rice on his head, including his blindfold.

President Hanada lied on the floor before he started trembling and even started talking to himself. Because of his severe shock, he started to lose his sanity.

Meanwhile, Koji received an email from 'President Hanada' which said "don't ever find him and hope he comes back. He's already happy with his life now that he's away from them."

Because Koji knew that his father is an irresponsible man, he believed the email and didn't question it. He also called his mother to know if she also received a message like that.

"Yes, just let your father be like that. He might be with a young woman right now. Later on, he'll come back because he'll have no money left with him. What you need to focus on is getting the CEO position, 'cause it looks like it's been months since Tanaga revealed his face," Koji's mother declared.

Because Koji promised to Grandma Hanada, he didn't tell the truth to his mom and just listened to what she was saying.

"Mom, I need to go. I have an appointment. By the way, I want to inform you that I requested to transfer here in America." Then Koji hung up the phone and didn't wait for his mother's reply.
