Chapter 293 - What would I do if you are gone?

Meanwhile, Tiny already arrived at Tanaga's condo. He parked his car at the front so that he and Tanaga could leave immediately. After he parked it, he quickly got out of it and even forgot to turn off his car.

When he arrived at the door, one of Tanaga's bodyguard was standing there and guarding. He respectfully greeted Tiny, "Good evening, Sir Tiny!" He then bowed his head.

"Good evening to you too. Please turn off my car since I forgot to. Is sir Jones here?" Tiny asked, but he still walked straight inside and didn't bother to wait for the bodyguard's answer.

"Yes!" the bodyguard shouted and went to where the car was parked.

Tiny spotted Tanaga in front of his laptop and watching something. He didn't notice Tiny's arrival because he was busy looking at the screen seriously.

"Sir, there is a problem. You need to go to the hospital because the Chairwoman had a heart attack and is in the emergency room right now."

Tanaga was shocked when he heard Tiny's voice. "What? Grandma had a heart attack?" Tanaga swiftly shot up to go to his room and change.

Tiny was planning to follow him and help him with what he needed when he heard a loud laugh from Ashley.

He looked first at the direction of the master bedroom. When he saw the door of the room was closed, he went to where Tanaga left his laptop – which was still open.

Tiny saw the videos he and Sato made when they went to America for the first time. He clearly saw how Tanaga and Ashley were happy and almost cried on the thought that there was a possibility that they would be separated.

In just a few minutes Tanaga was ready to go. Tiny noticed that he wore a regular shirt and blue jeans including accessories: a black hat, black sunglasses, and a pitta mask. Tiny just shook his head and didn't utter a word.

Even though Tiny didn't say anything, Tanaga noticed his expression. "I'm not prepared to meet her, but I need to see grandma, that's why I'm dressed like this – understood?"

Tiny could only give a firm nod. He was the first one to leave while Tanaga followed behind him, clearly concerned about his grandma.

When Tanaga and Tiny arrived at the hospital, he didn't go down first. Tanaga called Butler Ruffy as he wanted to know the situation inside. He was relieved when Butler Ruffy said that Grandma Hanada only had a mild stroke and was currently resting.

Although he heard something to relieve him, Tanaga still didn't move to go out. Tiny was still sitting at the driver's seat and waiting for his boss to order.

A few moments had passed and Tanaga still didn't have plans on going out. Tiny couldn't wait any longer and ask, "Sir, what do you want to do? Should I bring you back to your condo?" Tiny questioned in a sad tone while looking at Tanaga through the rearview mirror.

Tanaga was having second thoughts if he should leave or just stay. His mind kept telling him to leave, now that he knew his grandma was fine.

But his heart was also telling him to go back to Ashley to see if she was fine and gave birth properly.

In the end, he decided to ask Tiny. "Tiny, has she finished giving birth? What's the gender… girl or boy…?" he asked, almost whispering.

Tiny heard what Tanaga just said, but he didn't know how to answer it. Instead of answering Tanaga, he pretended that he didn't hear.

"Sir, I'm sorry! I didn't hear what you just said clearly. Could you please repeat it?"

"It's – never minds. Just take me back to my condo. Now that my grandma is resting, I'll just be waiting there. One more thing is, I'm waiting for an email from my lawyer."

When Tiny heard Tanaga, he felt his heart clench out of sorrow. He decided to talk to him even if it would be the cause for him to go back to the Philippines. It would be fine because his sibling had already graduated.

"Here goes nothing!" he whispered to himself, sighing first before speaking. "Sir Jones – I know I shouldn't interfere with your relationship with Madam Ashley, but I can't forgive myself if I won't fight for what's right. Sir, I know you still don't remember her. But we – we know how you and her meet and how you truly love her. I know you also saw the video when we came here during Christmas and don't lie – you clearly can see how you love each other."

Tanaga was about to speak but Tiny stopped him.

"I'm sorry, Sir Jones. Please let me finish what I'm saying first. After that, if you want to bring me back from the Philippines, I understand," Tiny pleaded, sadness drawn in his eyes.

Tanaga didn't have a choice but to let Tiny speak his mind. After all, no matter what Tiny could say, Tanaga was confident that he would end his and Ashley's relationship as a couple.

When Tiny saw that Tanaga didn't speak, he continued his speech to also let his disappointment out to his boss.

"Sir, I think you should know that Madam Ashley wanted to follow you even when she knew you died. Even if she knows it would only bring hardsh.i.p.s for her family, she can and will follow you to your deathbed. Now, if you plan to annul your marriage and take the child… I hope you think carefully. Did you know that she was still in the operating room when I left to pick you up because her life is in danger? In fact, I don't know if her condition is stable or not. So, Sir Jones – " Tiny could not finish what he was saying because Tanaga suddenly opened the car door and ran towards the hospital.

Tanaga could not understand himself when he heard that Ashley's life was in danger, but a question suddenly entered his mind: 'What would I do if you are gone?'
