Chapter 187 - Get rid of that Woman!

"I don't care who's at fault! That woman was rude and disrespectful. If you want to continue managing THJ Entertainment, you need to get rid of that woman. Do you understand me?" President Hanada angrily told Kai, who's unable to look directly at his father.

"Did you hear me? "President Hanada shouted again, not before giving a blow on Kai's head. I said you can leave now since you are worthless anyway. Go and take care of the trouble maker that you brought us.

Koji couldn't stand it anymore and decided to intervene." Dad, your heart! Leave him alone, and I'm sure Kai will follow your order. Don't worry, if Kai doesn't terminate Miss Yamaguchi's contract with THJ Entertainment ... I'll end her contract myself." Koji promised his father so that his father would leave his youngest brother alone.

"Go ahead, Kai, you may go! I need to talk to dad, and I still have more meetings to attend." Koji pleaded with the brother.

When Kai heard Koji's words, it prompted him to leave. So he quickly stood up and left without saying goodbye. He needs to hurry down and find out where the security guards took Ohani.

Kai is convinced that Ohani is currently cursing him at the moment. She's probably so angry with him and his whole family. He needed to catch up with her before she decided to leave and return to America.

As soon as the elevator arrived at the lobby, Kai went straight to the receptionist to find out where they had taken Ohani. Unfortunately, the receptionist has no idea and was not able to help.

He was devastated, unable to think of what to do next. "Now what? Where do I go to find her?" He mumbles while contemplating if he should call her or not. He's afraid that she would not answer the call if he does call her. For sure, Ohani would not want to speak with him after that ordeal.

Meanwhile, back in the meeting room. Ashley was getting bored and couldn't wait to leave. Unfortunately, she needed to stay and wait until the father and son finished their meeting.

"So' let me get this straight. Miss Gusman, here is Tanaga's assistant. He only lends her to you while he's away. Therefore, she cannot accept the offer to become our endorser unless he approves it. Am I correct?" Asked President Hanada while he's secretly peaking at Ashley.

"Yes, dad! That's why if you wanted her to become your endorser of the new product. You need to convince Tanaga to agreed. Otherwise, she would not accept for sure." Said Koji while also taking a glance at Ashley.

The father and son were busy discussing Ashley as if she's not there. That pisses her off and when she couldn't handle it any longer. She got up to interrupt the father and son.

"Excuse me, sir, President Hanada, COO Hanada. I thought you asked the others to leave and for me to stay because you have something to discuss with me? May I ask what it is?" She irritably asked while her brow was raised, and it shows from the tone of her voice.

President Hanada was stunned by the tone of voice Ashley utilized. He was going to reprimand her already when he decided to use a different tactic. "I'm sorry, Miss Gusman, if we were rude for speaking Nihongo right in front of you. Don't worry; we were not talking about you at all. Everything we were discussing was business. Purely business." He explained.

That was a mistake in President Hanada's part. He didn't know that she could understand and speak the language. However, she didn't inform them so she could secretly listen to their conversation without them knowing she understood it all. She needed to find out what the older man's plan for her.

"It's alright, sir! I'm sorry as well if I was rude to interrupt your conversation. It is just that, it's already lunchtime and I'm hungry. Hahaha!" She banters to ease the tension in the room and for them not to realized that she had understood the whole conversation.

President Hanada nodded, "Anyway, I wanted to speak with you regarding the endors.e.m.e.nt. I'm not sure if you knew how lucrative this deal. If you accept to become our spoke person, you could become famous and makes a lot of money. Do you know how many people are fighting to become our endorsers?" He ends it with a question, trying to see her reaction after his speech.

"I have no idea, as you know, that I'm not a model. I never once dream of becoming a model, actress, or endorser for that matter. I'm a simple person with a simple dream." She didn't elaborate as to what her dream was. She didn't' think they must know.

Everything that she said was true. She's a simple-minded girl with a simple dream. Before she went to Japan, she only wanted to work abroad, earn dollars, and send the money back to her family to give them luxurious life for once. That's it, nothing more!

However, things had changed ever since she met Tanaga. Her dreams now included raising her unborn child together with her husband. And live happily ever after. But, they don't know that, and she's not planning to tell them either.

"Hmmm, so you're saying that your dream is only simple. Do you mind elaborating a little on what this dream of yours is? Who knows, I might even be of help for you to achieve it in the long run." Explained President Hanada without batting an eye.

She had to think deeply is she should tell him the truth or lie? She contemplated for a moment. Then a moment more, while President Hanada was eagerly waiting for her response.

When Ashley didn't utter a word after a while, Koji decided to intervene. He felt that Ashley needed to be rescued from his father's claw.

"Miss Gusman, if you wanted to think about it first if you should reply to the question or not. -Go ahead! Think it over and when your sure of your answer, tell us. Alright! No pressure on our side." He thought that should be enough to shut his dad up and stop the inquisition.

Her face suddenly brightened after hearing what Koji said. She smiled sheepishly, "Well, if that is the case... -can we go and have lunch first? I'm so hungry that I might pass out again if I don't eat soon." Then, it dawns to her that they had no idea that she had passed out not long ago.

"What! You passed out! When? Is it the day when the Chairwoman took you to the hospital? And the reason was it's because you passed out?" Exclaim Koji, worriedly.

They had no idea that President Hanada was observing them the whole time. It suddenly dawns on him something... He remembered the Director of the Hospital had called insinuating that he would be a Grandfather very soon.

'Could it be?' He asked himself as he looks back and forth between the two. "Hmmm?" President Hanada's mind was running a hundred miles per hour. Thinking of how this news would benefit him in the long run.
