Chapter 170 - Going To The Hospital.

As Ashley walked out, she suddenly felt dizzy. Just as she was about to grab a hold onto the doorknob, her eyes suddenly darkened, and she collapsed eventually. "Thud!"

"Oh, my God! Help !!!" Grandmother Hanada was shocked to see what had happened to Ashley as she quickly went to aid her.

"Grandchild! Grandchild! Ashley, wake up!" Grandma Hanada slowly patted her face. "Ashley, wake up! Don't scare grandma, please! Come on, kiddo... Don't give this old lady a heart attack." Said Grandma Hanada jokingly to Ashley

"Help !!! Akani! Harumi! I need your help!" Grandmother Hanada called again to her assistant and secretary outside. She then pulled did her best pull Ashley away from the door, so Akani and Harumi could enter.

A few moments later, there was a knock at the door. "Chairwoman, it's Harumi and Akani."

"Come on in! Hurry up, I need your help!" Grandma Hanada spoke loudly so they could hear her on the other side.

Just as Harumi and Akani were entering the door, Ashley came out and opened her eyes. She was still out of sort and unclear of what happened as she looks at the trio blankly.

"Urgh! What happened?" Ashley asked to no one in particular, as she insisted on sitting with Grandmother Hanada's help. She shook her head, for she was still dizzy. The last thing she remembers was, she was leaving, and then she suddenly everything went dark and lost consciousness. 'What happened?' She thought.

Akani quickly grabbed some water from the nearby counter and brought it to Ashley. "Ma'am, please! drink this to help clear your mind." Said the secretary as she handed the glass of water filled with concern in her voice.

"Thanks!" Said Ashley as she accepts the glass filled with water. She drank it slowly while in deep thought. ' I wonder why did I pass out? I'm not anemic and low in blood sugar? I get a full rest and sleep daily? I ate breakfast this morning, so I know it's not because of that. So, why did I pass out?'

While she was in deep thought, Grandmother Hanada had another thing in mind, and she wanted to prove to herself that she was right. If what she was thinking is correct, Tanaga would surely be jumping for joy.

"Get the car ready, and we'll go to the hospital." Grandmother Hanada ordered her assistant Harumi excitedly.  "Come on! Hurry!" She sternly repeated her order as she scrambles to get her belonging so they could leave right away.

"Yes, Chairwoman. Right away!" Harumi quickly called Grandma Hanada's bodyguard-Driver. "Get the car ready, Chairwoman will leave. Will be down there in a few, right in front of the building."

After Harumi gave the order to the driver, she helped Ashley to first sit on the sofa. "Stay put for a moment and get your mind together. The driver is bringing the car to the front of the building, and we could leave to go to the hospital." Said Harumi to Ashley with kindness in her eyes.

Grandmother Hanada sits next to Ashley. Her concern was evident, and she could see it on her face.

"Grandchild, how are you feeling? Look here, how many are this?" Grandma Hanada asked while her hand was right in front of Ashley, showing two fingers.

Ashley, who was still in deep thought, turned and looked straight ahead. "Two!" Ashley replied while her face and lips were still pale as if she had seen a ghost. From the look of her, it seems that someone had drained all the blood in her body.

"Good! That's good! If you're feeling a little better, let's get out of here so we could get you checked." Grandma Hanada said as she helped Ashley stand up.

Ashley was hesitant to stand up at first. "Grandma, I'm fine. We don't need to go to the hospital. I just need to rest a bit, and I would be as good as new." She jokingly told the old lade while still pale as a white sheet.

"No-no! We have to go to the hospital, you never know. Also, there's something I wanted to find out if my hunch is correct. So can you do this for me, please!?" Ask Grandmother Hanada, concern was showing on her face.

Ashley would have declined again, but when she saw Hanada's grandmother's face, she was obviously worried. There was nothing she could do but agreed to the old lady's request.

Meanwhile, in Koji Hanada's office, the young man could not concentrate on what he was doing. The doc.u.ment he was reading was in reverse, and he was just staring at it without seeing it.

Koji was worried about why his grandmother called Ashley. He tried to amuse himself and began to read the doc.u.ments on his desk. However, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stop himself from worrying about her.

When he couldn't stand anymore since he couldn't concentrate at work anyway... "F.u.c.k it!" He quickly closed the folder right in front of him and stood up. He grabs his suit jacket and runs out of his office as if he were being pursued.

"When Miss Gusman arrives while I'm gone, tell her to stay put! II will be right back, and we need to be on our way to our appointment." Shouted Koji to his secretary as he walked out the door.

"Yes, sir! By the way..." Koji's secretary was saying, but he was already gone. His secretary couldn't believe what she just saw. How quickly Koji passes and leaves, for all the years that she had been working for him, this was the first time his secretary saw this happened.

She never saw her boss run out like that as if the devil was chasing after him. She just shook her head and went back to work.

As Koji watches over the elevator, he wonders what excuse he would use to his grandmother. He knew that it would make her wonder why he went there without even calling first.

He could tell her that he was there to pick her up since they have a launch appointment, and they needed to leave. But, then Grandmother Hanada would wonder why he didn't just call or send his secretary to fetch Ashley? She would ask why does he need to come personally?

"This would be a problem. Therefore, Koji needed to think of something believable." He mumbles just as the elevator arrived.

"Ding!" The elevator opens with an arrow down. Because Koji' was in deep thought, the button that he pressed was going-down, rather than going-up. Therefore, the elevator that Grandmother Hanada and Ashley was in stopped. They were stunned to see Koji standing right in front of them.

Ashley is still a bit dizzy, so Grandmother Hanada and Harumi were supporting her. This is what Koji saw when the elevator door opens. It scared him, and it is shown on his handsome face.

"Koji! Are you going in or not? Otherwise, we have to leave." Grandma Hanada asked, wondering why his grandson's face looks like he just saw a ghost?

Koji was temporarily shocked and speechless as soon as he saw Grandma Hanada, his assistant, and the person that he was going after... Ashley Gusman ...
