Chapter 163 - "WTF!!!"

Since Ashley was tired and sleepy, she decided just to text her family the next day when she wakes up.  Afterward, she decided to just text Grandma Hanada since she might be in a session at the Casino ... She doesn't want to bother the old lady.

"There! It's finished!"  She put her phone down by the nightstand and lay down.  Due to exhaustion, she was quickly fast asleep and did not hear her phone buzzing.

"Where did that woman go?" Tanaga asked himself as he stared at the watch showing different times.  "It's already ten o'clock; she should be in this house already, right?"  He mumbles to himself.

Tanaga tried to call Ashley again with no luck. She didn't pick-up. So he decided to contact Butler Ruffy to find out where his wife was.  If anyone, he would know for sure.

Meanwhile, Butler Ruffy is busy talking to Ashley's dad in the Philippines. Therefore, Tanaga's call couldn't get through either.  "F**k!  What is going on?! Is this a conspiracy or what?!" He grumbles out loud.

Lastly, he thought to call Tiny, he should know.  He's Ashley's bodyguard, wherever she is, that's where he should be.  However, Tiny, who was fast asleep in the living room and his cellphone was left I room while charging.

"What the F**k!" Tanaga was so annoyed that he couldn't get a hold of anyone, with his massive hand he accidentally pulled the cord of the phone, which surprised his bodyguards.

Tiny's second in command, quickly stood second and picked up the damaged plane's phone.  "Sir, are you okay?" He asked curiously.

"You think so! Are you kidding me? You saw me break the phone in annoyance, you still ask ?! Get me a hard drink, right now!" He shouted at his bodyguard.

The bodyguard keeps shaking his head as he headed toward the stewardess.  "Go bring a hard drink to the boss now!" Ordered the bodyguard, he then sat at a distance, instead of returning to the former seat.

"I guess he couldn't get a hold of his wife; that's why he's in a bad mood again.  My God!  why didn't he just brought his wife with him without paperwork... He owns the plane; it is not like they would be flying commercial.  They could just say that he didn't know she needed a visa to enter the country."  The bodyguard whispered to himself, then closed his eyes.

Because Tanaga had broken the plane's phone, he could not call again. He now had to wait until they land and have a cellphone reception before he could call.  This made him more agitated and in the worst mood.

Everyone inside the plane was quiet and did their best to stay away from him. Afraid to get fired.

"I hope we arrive soon and so he could contact whoever he's calling. Otherwise, I'm nervous that I might say and do something wrong and lose my job in no time. " The head steward told the colleague.

"Your not the only one, you know! We are all in the same boat if he doesn't get a hold of the person he's been trying to reach... I know for sure that one by one or if not, all of us would be terminated by the time we land." The second steward told the head steward.

"Gosh!  Why are you all afraid?  How about we put a sleeping pill into his drink, this way he would be knock out and our problem would be solved." Interject the third stewards.  The third steward was relatively new and did not know Tanaga.

What they didn't know was Tanaga was right in front of them and heard their conversation.  He was going to ask if they have any kind of tools he could use to repair the plane's phone.

"Could you repeat what you just said?!" Asked Tanaga while shooting dagger at his crew.

"You all should be glad that we're in the air if we were in the sea or land. You would wish you have never been born!" Tanaga said as he returned to his seat, eyes still glittering in anger.

Tanaga's bodyguard was acting like he was asleep and heard what he said.

At first, he planned to let the stewards take care of Tanaga. But when he heard what the boss said, he knew he's angry and about to explode.  He quickly got up and went to find his comrades to see if anyone could help with the situations.

"Bro! Bro! Bro!" One by one, he awoke them. "Does any of you know how to repair a phone? We are in an emergency if it is not fixed before we get to America." Said the second in command of the bodyguard.

Fortunately, one of Tanaga's bodyguards was able to repair it. "Sir, me! I used to work at a telephone company. Maybe I could do something!" Answer one of the three bodyguards.

By God's mercy, the phone was fixed and hooked back. Everyone was excited when they heard what the bodyguard said to Tanaga. " Sir, it's fixed! Try again!"

Tanaga's face lighted up when he heard the phone being fixed, and he could call again. "Thanks!" Tanaga said to the bodyguard with a sadness in his eyes.

The three stewards and Tanaga's bodyguards were startled. They couldn't believe Tanaga was grateful. It is not Tanaga's custom to thank anyone. For him all of his employees doing the work, it was all right, and it was their responsibility.

For the first time, he thanked the staff because he would be able to make a call again, and maybe he could talk and hear his wife's voice. This is why he is grateful because he missed his wife.

Sato had no idea what was going on.  As soon as the plane was in the air, he went to look for a corner where no one could bother him.  So he has no idea what is going on.

A couple of minutes later, Tanaga was once again busy making a call to his wife.

"Bzzz-bzzz-bzzz"

After three bzzz, "Hello!" Replied Ashley, who sounded like half asleep and half awake.

When Tanaga heard his wife's voice who sounded like that, he was speechless.  On the other hand, Ashley, who was still sleepy... -put the phone under the pillow and went back to sleep when no one answered.

Therefore, after a couple of seconds... -"Tut-tut-tut!" was all the sound that Tanaga heard.

"WTF!!!" Exclaimed Tanaga.
