Reminder: The “female” mentioned in this series is a “he” and not a “she”. In other words, they are males but are called “females” because they are capable of giving birth.

Lin Su was worried that someone would come during the treatment, so he didn’t dare to waste time. The green light emerged from his palm once again. Due to the large wound, Lin Su could only start by repairing the internal wall and stopping the bleeding.

“Roar!” Seeing its father able to move, the little cub jumped up and rubbed against the Black Flame Leopard, letting out a roar.

The Black Flame Leopard stood up slowly. “It’s enough. I can heal the remaining wounds myself.”

As an S-rank Contract Beast, its self-healing ability was formidable. Even if Lin Su hadn’t completely healed it, the remaining injuries could be dealt with using its own regenerative power. It would just take some time.

“I’m Lin Su. I’ll come back tomorrow at this time to treat you again.”

After saying that, the Black Flame Leopard picked up the little cub from the ground, leaped into the air, and disappeared into the depths of the forest.

Lin Su turned around and leaped onto a large tree, leaving this troublesome place.

Lin Su retraced his steps and caught three wild chickens without stopping, then headed straight back to the hunting point exit.

The young male responsible for collecting tickets boredly gazed into the depths of the forest. It was past the peak hunting period, and there weren’t many people coming at the moment, but his job wasn’t over yet.

As he idly daydreamed, he suddenly saw a tall and slender young man walking from not far away. Subconsciously, he looked at the young man’s face. The young man had delicate facial features with round, bright cat-like eyes. His black pupils were as clear and translucent as obsidian, exuding a profound sense of mystery.

Under the high-bridged nose, his thin lips were slightly pursed, giving him a slightly innocent and obedient look.

It was the little female who had entered the forest alone in the morning.

Recognizing Lin Su, the young male looked at him with complex emotions as he held the items in his hand. “…Did you come here to capture these things?”

Lin Su tossed the items to him. “Yes, that’s right.”

The young male caught the items and watched as Lin Su left, completely unable to understand what this good-looking little female was thinking.

These creatures had sharp claws, and Lin Su was worried that Su Jin might get injured. He sidestepped him and dropped the chickens on the ground. He tied their legs together with grass ropes, making it impossible for them to fly.

Once he arranged a chicken coop, he could raise them for a while and perhaps even get some eggs.

“I had someone catch them in the Star Mist Forest.”

Lin Su didn’t dare to say that he had entered the forest himself, or else Su Jin would surely worry. As he said that, Su Jin didn’t comment much and just asked, “How do we eat these?”

“We’ll stew them. Male Father needs to replenish his body. Just eating vegetables won’t be enough. I’ll wash my hands. Female Father, don’t move. I’ll clean up later.”

Lin Su not only wanted to wash his hands but also change his clothes. After treating Yan Lie just now, he felt a strong scent of blood on himself, which made him very uncomfortable.

William, who was sitting there with his eyes closed, suddenly opened his eyes when Lin Su entered the room.

His alert golden beast eyes focused on Lin Su, causing the pair of dog ears on top of his head to stand up.

To be covered in such a strong scent, it must have been more than just a casual encounter.

William furrowed his brow, feeling displeased as if his territorially marked domain had been invaded by an outsider.

The fox tail scattered on the side impatiently swayed.

Lin Su found a few boards and temporarily built a chicken coop. He tied two wild chickens inside and fed them some water and vegetable leaves to replenish their energy and encourage egg-laying.

He boiled a pot of hot water, plucked off the feathers, and placed the bare chicken in a basin. Its large size made it resemble a goose.

He cut it in half. Lin Su prepared to stew one half for soup and use the other half to make a chicken and mushroom stew.

Initially, when it was first put in the pot, there wasn’t much aroma. However, as time passed, Su Jin, who was working in the yard, suddenly looked up and glanced toward the kitchen.

An indescribable fragrance wafted out from the kitchen, a scent he had never smelled before.

Kane and William, who were separately lying in their rooms, were also drawn to this aroma.

Their senses, even more sensitive than females, had already been enticed by this enticing smell before Su Jin even noticed it.

Thinking about the wild chicken that Lin Su mentioned earlier, could this be the smell of wild chicken?

What was Lin Su doing in his house?
