221 Fine what?

Zi Han had been confessed to before and each time he felt like a horrible person, breaking the other person’s heart. He even felt pity for them. He told himself several times that he would never be a slave to such an emotion.

But here he was standing in front of Yi Chen unable to reject him. He knew very well that what he felt for Yi Chen was beyond physical attraction. He was selfish for him and didn’t want him to look at anyone but himself. He wanted to monopolize him so much that he even thought he had a mental health problem or something.

Zi Han opened his mouth to say yet again, “Let’s talk about it later,” but when he looked into those puppy dog eyes staring at him Zi Han shut his mouth. Rubbing the back of his neck he pointed at the device and whispered, “Fine, take it, and let’s go.”

Yi Chen, “....”

Fine? Was that a yes?

“Fine what?” asked Yi Chen in a faltering tone.

Zi Han stared back at him for a second before saying,

“You know what I mean now take it before I change my mind.”

Yi Chen hurriedly packed away the device before pulling Zi Han by the wrist with a joyous expression. Zi Han had agreed! He had actually agreed to be his boyfriend!

Yi Chen was happy that he leaned down for a kiss but who would have thought Zi Han would play very hard to get? Before Yi Chen’s lips could touch his Zi Han placed his hand on his mouth with a smile that seemed to reach his eyes.

Yi Chen wasn’t resigned to this. He grasped Zi Han’s wrist and tried to pull Zi Han’s hand away from his lips so he could kiss him but Zi Han tensed his muscles while letting out a muffled chuckle.

“Let me kiss you. It would be our first kiss as boyfriends,” said Yi Chen having managed to pull Zi Han’s hand a little.

“You have to work hard for it,” said Zi Han before swiping out his one hand for the other.

Yi Chen laughed heartily while grasping both of his wrists pulling him closer. “I will gladly work hard. Baby, you are worth it,” he said the word baby rolling on his tongue like it was so natural.

“What did you just call me,” said Zi Han with a playful smile on his face as he jerked his arms away trying to free himself, “who is your baby?”

The two of them completely forgot where they were scuffling like a bunch of well-fed puppies.

“Ma’am, they are the only ones left but we can’t locate them. From their vitals, they don’t appear distressed just..... active.”

The commodore stared at the two images on the screen in deep contemplation. After much thought, she said, “Bring them up.”

“Yes ma’am.”

Two minutes later the two who were still tussling appeared in the transporter of the stealth cruiser with one on top of the other.

Yi Chen was underneath with Zi Han straddling him while trying to pin his arms down. “Stop squirming,” said Zi Han through gritted teeth but Yi Chen pushed back with all his might.

Using his entire body weight he flipped over Zi Han and their positions were instantly switched.

Zi Han chuckled while fighting back. He was about to give in when they heard someone clearing their throat. They both turned their heads sharply and were shocked to find a couple of people staring.

There weren’t any of their teammates but the military personnel monitoring the stealth cruiser. Zi Han pushed Yi Chen away feeling slightly embarrassed.

They both felt it when they were forcibly transported back to the stealth cruiser. It’s just that they were deep in their emotions that they didn’t notice their surroundings.

“It’s all your fault,” whispered Zi Han as he got up.

Yi Chen didn’t refute it. He just suppressed a smile as he followed after Zi Han.

CRUSH!!! CRUSH!! THUD CRUSH!!

These were the sounds coming from prime minister Ikeda’s office after having heard that both Yi Chen and Zi Han walked off Dark Star with minor injuries and bruises.

He was so pissed that he told his right-hand man to reach his contact but instead of him, they were met by Zi Xingxi’s face.

The communication device was encrypted with the most advanced technology in the federation meaning it wouldn’t be easy for Zi Xingxi to find them but prime minister Ikeda was still shaken.

Zi Xingxi didn’t mince her words.

With a devilish grin, she said, “I am pretty certain you already know what happened to the owner of this communication device. I just want to let you know that it’s only a matter of time until I find you and burn you to ash in front of the entire federation.... so get your affairs in order.”

Soon after the call ended the device in Zi Xingxi’s hands self-destructed but she wasn’t at all fazed. The hunt was on and she couldn’t wait to find who had the audacity to attack her son.

While Zi Xingxi was tracking down the ballsy man, the prime minister was trashing his office in anger. After throwing a good enough tantrum he combed his hair back with his fingers and then asked, “Tell me they at least lost their mental powers.”

The secretary shook his head and the prime minister slumped into his chair feeling rather frustrated. He didn’t step into his secret room for a very long time after that as he was blaming himself for failing that person again.

The people who were giving him a headache were currently lying in bed while cuddling each other. After surviving four days in the cold forest this warm cabin was like paradise.

Yi Chen placed his bent leg over Zi Han’s thigh with his knee resting on Zi Han’s waist. Zi Han turned his head slightly and stared at Yi Chen in his peripheral view before saying, “Do you have to be this close? You are making me feel hot.”

Yi Chen gently kissed his temple before whispering, “Let me hug you a little longer,” his tone almost like that of begging.

Zi Han’s heart jolted as though he was suddenly struck by a surge of energy. He struggled to calm his breathing before saying, “Well, at least stop rubbing up against my ass like that. It’s giving me the feeling that of a sheep about to get slaughtered.”

Yi Chen, “....”

“What does that even mean?” said Yi Chen with a gleeful smile on his face.
