Chapter 30: Dangerous Zone.

It was already dawn when Yan Jing arrived at the villa, his usual gentle demeanor was nowhere to be seen. He had jumped off his horse urgently at the entrance before rushing into the villa.

Affected by his murderous intent, the servants were all prostrating before him as he made his way to the middle of the villa.

“Where is the WengZhu?” He asked deeply, his cold gaze passing through each and every one of the prostrating servants, sending chills down their spines.

“The WengZhu had went to bed as soon as she was done with dinner.”

The room was still bright with the brightly lit candles when Yan Jing arrived at her bedroom, while the silken curtains fluttered under the cooling night breeze through the half-opened window.

Yan Luan was still in a deep slumber as he stood quietly next to her bed. She was laying on her sides, the blanket was kicked away from her body and her long black hair was messy, but it had not reduced her beauty at all.

He unnoticeably breath in a sigh of relief at the sight of her resting on the bed, safe and sound.

He sat down on the side of her bed as he reached out to stroke her cheeks uncontrollably, it was extremely warm and it somewhat burned his icy cold hands, relieving him from the fear and insecurity that had been within him the entire day.

Perhaps his gaze was a little to sharp, or perhaps it was those ice cold fingers, Yan Luan stirred from her dreams while opening her eyes drowsily, blinking in confusion at the handsome face right in front of her.

The kiss was sudden, but deep, as he kissed her unassuming lips long and hard while hugging her tightly within his arms, as if needing to make sure that she was still here with him and that she was okay. It was a sort of insecurity that he himself had not noticed until now.

Meanwhile, the half-awake Yan Luan had almost lost her breath at the sudden kiss attack, immediately gasping for air as soon as he released her from his clutches.

“Elder brother? Why are you back?”

They had heard news of her accident in the afternoon, which resulted in their mother making a huge ruckus, but coincidentally, another incident had happened in City Yue, hence the two brothers had escorted Princess YongKang to City Yue together.

Yan Luan had heard news of the escort, and she had assumed that she wouldn’t be seeing any of her brothers any time soon as the city was quiet far away, but Yan Jing is now sitting at the edge of her bed!

“Are you okay? Do not run around alone next time, are you still in shock?” The anxious Yan Jing was long gone, replaced fully by the gentle and worried Yan Jing, as he hugged her within his arms while stroking her back gently, as if trying to sooth her fear.

God knows how angry and scared he had felt this afternoon as soon as he received the news of her accident from the dove courier, he had left their mother in Yan Dao’s care before rushing all the way here, and the anxiety within his heart was nothing he wished to experience again.

At the same time, wondering if she was a deadly poison, which had tainted his entire heart and there was no going back…

He enjoyed her warmth as she leaned weakly against his chest, and to his surprise, she had even wrapped her arms around his waist, as if she could felt the insecurity and fear within him.

“I’m fine, someone caught me in time, but I’m still a little spooked.” She whined softly, she had always been afraid of heights, so it had been real terror for her during the free fall. But now that she was within his grasps, all she felt like doing now is to voice out all of her fears to him.

“Don’t be afraid, Ah Luan, I will protect your properly next time, I’ll never let this sort of accidents happen in the future.” He held her face gently within his palms, his eyes filled with determination as he made a vow.

Yan Luan could not understand the unfamiliar feeling within her chest, as no man had ever treated her with such warmth and gentleness. Those worried but firm eyes, which were filled with adoration and love, burnt deeply into her soul as if threatening to drown her fully, and surprisingly, she wasn’t against it.

“Elder brother…” She called out to him softly, awaking him from the daze before leaving his arms entirely.

His face darkened slightly at her obvious rejection, Yan Dao would’ve probably pounced on her and gave her a fitting punishment immediately, but not him, he was Yan Jing, a man who was accustomed to living his life under the mask of a gentleman.

“Heh, I’m glad that Ah Luan is alright, are you sleepy? Go back to bed.” He said softly before turning his back on her immediately and leaving the room, causing her to let out a breath of relief.

She stared at the pearl ceiling in her room as she laid on the bed. She should’ve started weeping against his chest at his confession, but it had been so sudden that her brain had lagged behind before she noticed what she had done.

Her actions must’ve angered him, but it wasn’t intentional, as deep inside, she was still slightly against an incestuous relationship, and her actions were done by her body instinctively.

As she slowly fell asleep once more, she heard his footsteps once again, but this time he had not make a single sound, instead, he had crawled onto her bed and hugged her gently within his arms, softly landing a gentle kiss on her forehead before resting his head within her fragrant hair.

“Sleep.”

It was early in the morning when Yan Luan woke up, but to her shock, she realized that she was sleeping on his chest as unladylike as possible, while Yan Jing was still asleep, though his brows were furrowed together deeply.

It wasn’t a dream, he’s really back!

She flailed around in a panic, trying to leave her current position without waking him up, but her actions had only resulted in messing up his sleeping gown and revealing his muscular and sexy chest.

Her memories came back to her immediately right after her palm landed on his solid chest. Oh my god! She had unknowingly caressed his chest the entire night while she was asleep.

She needed to leave this place right now, but she had slept inside, while he had taken the outsides, so she had no choice but to crawl over his body to escape.

She did not have the guts to crawl over his body, but his legs should be fine, hence she lifted a corner of her skirt and crossed her leg over to the other side, but just before she could do the same with her other leg, his eyes had snapped opened in a sudden before glaring at her sharply.

“Ah!”

She yelped in shock as she lost her balance and falling right onto him, her twin bunnies crashed onto his legs while her face…

Her face was buried between his legs!!!

And right under her terrified gaze, she felt something solid pushed against her lips roughly, as if a beast had awakened.

Meanwhile, realizing that his trap had worked perfectly, Yan Jing sat up straight immediately before gripping her firmly within his arms, preventing her escape.

He caressed her soft lips adoringly, immediately feeling a pulse on his shaft as it hardened further.

Wouldn’t it feel heavenly if he could stuck his entire shaft deep within her lips…

“Let go of me, how could you pretend to sleep!”

Yan Jing chuckled cheerfully at her complains while holding her tightly and giving her a soft peck on her burning cheeks, “Pretending to sleep? Ah Luan is falsely accusing me~”
