Chapter 1 - SPRING DREAM

In the darkness, nothing can be seen clearly. The narrow and small space was filled with a man’s low gasps and a woman’s lovely and fragile moans. Their sweat and bodily fluid mixed together disorderly…

“Aah~ you, who are you ~ Mnn!” Xu Wan cried out, confused at the situation.

The huge hot shaft below fiercely thrust and shook Xu Wan’s soft body. She clenched her lips and tried to ask again.

“Soon…”, a cold voice growled deeply as if in a trance, “Soon, and you’ll be back to our side…”

His deep voice smeared with lust sent a shiver up her spine. Xu Wan didn’t understand what he meant and tried to ask again, but her smooth buttocks were suddenly raised up high by his strong arms. As he madly embedded himself inside her, their sexual secretions splashed around wildly, filling the already narrow space with a sensual musk.

The perverted and shameful act continued until a stream of hot liquid was sprayed deep inside her womb, and the strong force that bound her finally began to fade away. As her consciousness fade, she exerted the last of her energy by reaching her hands out towards that blurry figure in front of her.

“Aaa!”

Xu Wan woke up with a shock as she immediately got up from her bed. Her heart still had a lingering fear from the nightmare as she stared at the bright crystal lamp hanging on the ceiling. She knew that she had once again met that incubus inside her dream again.

She shakily took the phone from the bedside table to check on the time. Again! she thought fearfully. The time wasn’t too late nor it was too quick, those nightmares all ended exactly at half past one in the morning.

A shiver ran down her back as she thought more about it. She gazed down slowly on her neat white night dress. Although she’s still wearing it, but her bare white legs were trembling, and the intimate feeling was still lingering in her private place, forcing her to doubt if it was just a dream. She moved a little bit and found her waist felt really sore.

“I’ve had enough of this dream…” She sighed helplessly as there wasn’t anything that she could do about her situation.

Xu Wan rubbed the cold sweat on her forehead and got up from the bed to grab a drink. She had been in the same shameful dream in these past few nights. Xu Wan wondered if she’s already mad, because she sometimes can’t tell the difference between illusion and reality anymore. Her head would be dizzy after she woke up from those dreams, and she almost fell a few times when she walked.

These horrible nightmares had also directly influenced her work during the day. She could only force herself to work with her depleted energy and a pair of black, exhausted eyes. Thus, she resigned herself when she was fiercely lectured by her team leader after submitting yet another wrong report three times in a row.

“Xu Wan, what happened to you these days? You look like you’ve been overindulging in nightly activities. Confess honestly, you have a man, right?” Her best friend, Jiang ShaSha, whispered to her curiously as soon as when she returned to her seat with a dejected look.

“You’re thinking too much, I just didn’t get enough rest recently,” she explained hastily. Her face flushed red as she couldn’t help but remembered her dreams, although she quickly hid it and returned to her normal expression.

Jiang ShaSha was a sharp woman. She and Xu Wan already knew each other for ten odd years, so with one glance she immediately knew what Xu Wan was thinking.

“Xu Xiao Wan, you better not slyly dating a guy behind my back! Be careful that I don’t expose your ugly photos when you were 10 years old!”

Those ugly photos will always be Xu Wan’s unspeakable pain, “My friend, I swear I’m not lying to you!” she anxiously caught Jiang ShaSha and said helplessly, “Just stop thinking about it, we’ll go grab a bite and talk it later when work ends.”

Unfortunately, Jiang ShaSha disappeared even before the work ended. It’s just as Xu Wan expected, such a beautiful woman like her friend was bound to have many crazy pursuers holding her back everywhere she went to.

Xu Wan left her workplace alone. The company she worked at was located in the middle of the bustling city, the area was fully packed with commercial office buildings, so it only took ten minutes for her to walk to her favorite restaurant.

It was right at the peak hour off work at noon, so it can’t be helped that the small restaurant was full of people. Xu Wan could only randomly found a place to sit down and ordered her favorite chicken mushroom rice.

“Young lady, this bracelet is really beautiful”, a well-dressed 70-year-old lady, who had a pair of amiable smiling eyes, called out to her while pointing at the jade bracelet on Xu Wan’s wrist.

Xu Wan paused at her words. It’s right in the summer, so she wore a short-sleeved dress, making the white jade bracelet on her wrist more eye-catching as it emitted a cold aura. She had found this bracelet in her ancestral home and fell in love, immediately slipping it into her wrist.

However, once the bracelet was worn, it can’t be removed anymore.

At that time, she anxiously called her mother who lived in a far away country and asked about the origin of this bracelet, but her mother also couldn’t find anything much about this ancient artifact. She only insisted that this bracelet was a good thing so she should just continue wearing it.

But surprisingly, the bracelet was quite heavy. She only got used to it after wearing it for a few days. When she went to the company, her antique-loving manager fell in love at first sight and immediately offered her a high price for her bracelet. Unfortunately, no one was able to take it off Xu Wan’s wrist, so they could only reluctantly give up.

“Thank you, grandma,” Xu Wan smiled sweetly in respond.

“If young lady doesn’t mind, could you let this old lady have a look at your bracelet?”

The old lady’s speech is calm and her eyes seemed to hold no obsession, furthermore Xu Wan also didn’t care that much about it, so she stretched out her hand, allowing the old lady to observe more closely at the first-class jade on her wrist. Her old and wrinkly hand gently stroke it.

Suddenly, a blood-scarlet light flashed inside the transparent jade!

“Aah!”, she cried out in shock as the previously cool bracelet suddenly became hot. She tried to take it off, but when she touched the bracelet, it went back to its original state.

What just happened…?

“Young lady, did anything strange happened after you started wearing this bracelet?”

When Xu Wan recovered her consciousness, she found the old lady had already retrieved her hand back, sat down, smiled and softly asked her in a whisper. Xu Wan still had a lingering fear looking at the bracelet.

“Strange happening? No… wait, there is!”

It just occurred to her that those dreams started when she first put on this jade bracelet. In the past, her dreams were all pure green and pollution-free!

The old lady stared at her suddenly blushing face and smiled. Her eyes lingered at the jade bracelet for a long time. When Xu Wan stopped talking, she said, “It could be a blessing, but it could also be a curse. Go to the West Street Tang Le Village and find me, if everything’s still fine after fifty days has passed wearing this bracelet.”

The old lady got up and left after leaving behind such ominous words. The confused Xu Wan lost her appetite. After she paid her order, she rushed out but couldn’t find that old lady anymore.

It could be a blessing, but it could also be a curse… Xu Wan felt a slight chill on her back.

“Hey, young lady, what are you doing running that fast, you haven’t received your change yet!”, the waitress chased her and gave her the remaining change in her hand, only to find her face was a little bit wrong.

“Hey, were you speaking with Auntie Li just now?”

“Auntie Li?” Xu Wan’s eyes lit up and asked, “Do you know where she lives?”

“Everyone knows where she lives. It’s at Tang Le village House number 46…”, the waiter nodded, pausing a bit before continuing, “Ah, that’s right, don’t listen to what she said, she has a bit of a problem here.” She whispered as she pointed at her own head.

It’s a pity that Xu Wan didn’t see her gesture, as she left after hastily saying her thanks.
