Chapter 26 - Wedding Checklist

The next day.

Sandra stayed in the Infinity Jade Tower the whole day to discuss with Catherine the overall theme of the wedding. She already had everything sorted out, the wedding date is already set as well the wedding venue, the wedding banquet, the decoration, and the foods still need to be finalized. She had made a total of three wedding theme choices for Catherine with different price ranges, all the bride needs to do is chose and Sandra will begin contacting the wedding event coordinator to zeal the deal.

Sandra took out her pen and notebook from her shoulder bag and scanned her checklist, then gave it to Catherine. "I have here the master checklist, Cath, we are now down to the two important aspects of the wedding but there's nothing to worry about because once you finally decided today, I will go and see the wedding coordinator and booked them on that day for the decorations of the church and the wedding venue. Then it's much easier to check the food choices because they are already perfectly tailored for wedding events and we just have to adjust or add any menu we like to be added to the list," Sandra said.

Catherine read the checklist.

"Thank you so much for your help, Sandra!" Catherine was very grateful for her friend's unwavering help and support.

Sandra smiled brightly at Catherine. "Thank me after the wedding..." she joked. "By the way, let's go back to the foods and wedding theme. Once we finished them all today I can book the wedding coordinator in advance so that everything is ironed out. As for the foods, we just have to go all over to the menus and then make a final decision today, then after we are done, we can sit pretty and just wait for the big day...of course we will have beauty pampering in the spa and salon one week before the wedding so that our beauty is super duper fresh and captivating on your wedding day," she said giggling.

Catherine laughed at Sandra's contagious enthusiasm.

"I will bring you to my favorite spa that gives a great a massage fit for the Queen, I swear it's the best in town! I will take you there!" Sandra exclaimed. "By the way, have you already decided where you and John will go for a honeymoon?"

Catherine brows knitted together. "Huh? Why do we need another honeymoon? It's for newlyweds only—right?" she asked.

Sandra giggled. "Old and new couples can always go on a honeymoon no time limit. Why not do it again? I recommend that you will have a romantic date with your husband once in a while," she suggested. "Don't worry about the babies I will volunteer to accompany Anna here to help look and take care of the babies so that your mind is at ease during the honeymoon. You two can visit hot vacation spots here or abroad, or go to Boracay...to Puerto Princesa Palawan or anywhere in the country if you don't like going abroad. Just tell me if you have finally decided so that I can suggest to you some wonderful and romantic honeymoon destination here in our country. Two nights will do, I am suggesting that you should tell John about it, Cath. It's only for two nights and I'm sure the babies won't mind after all it's for their parents' happiness and the construction of baby #3," she said jokingly.

Catherine grinned from ear to ear, she like the idea of spending two nights alone with her husband it's gonna be super exciting, why not?

"Okay, I will take your suggestion, Sandra, and thank you so much for reminding me that I missed out on spending private moments with my husband once in a while!" she finally said.

Sandra's eyes lighted up. "Which destination you guys wanna go to? Out of the country or in the country?"

Catherine's eyes twinkled. "I prefer to travel inside the country, I don't want to venture far," she said.

"No problem, I will help you browse online...there are many beautiful romantic private destinations in our county," Sandra said, she was about to open her tablet but she remembered that they still have not finalized the wedding menu.

Then she took the brochure out from her shoulder bag, she got it from her favorite catering service retaurant...it has comprehensive photos of different food menu and price range for a wedding banquet. "Here take a look at this...they have updated their menu for the wedding receptions, you should check them out," she said. "Let me know if you already had chosen the one you like best and if you have something to add tell me...while you are perusing the menu I will play with baby James," she walked to the crib and lifted baby James into her arms. "Hello, baby James...Auntie Sandra misses you so much!" she rained kisses on the toddler's cheeks.

Catherine glanced at baby Angel still sleeping peacefully in her crib. She fixed her attention to the brochure and was already drooling upon seeing the appetizing photos of the foods that were nicely grouped in six different categories and price ranges.

One hour later...Catherine still can't choose the best food for the wedding...thankfully John arrived and help the girls chose the best menu for the wedding, he picked up the most expensive menu in the brochure and the food dilemma was finally solved.

John also helped his wife chose the best theme for the wedding and they chose the fairy tale wedding theme with lots of white and pink flowers and a touch of silver and snow motif.

The couple's church wedding preparation was finally concluded on that day.
