?"Time is Up."
A soft delicate voice like a cuckoo of Grace reverberated in the cold space of the ward.
Sandra who was in shock yanked back to reality as the claw of Alex going for the neck was retrieved back.
For a second because of her natural survival instincts, she was glad that Alex stopped.
Though she was sure that Alex would not be going to harm, the killing intent he showed fooled her body, making her panic unconsciously.
But seeing he stop, She breathed a sigh of relief with a knowing smile on her face with love.
Thinking he did not go too far, doesn't that mean he also has good feelings for her in his heart?
She thought this as she was barely able to stand on her one leg because the other leg's main bone was snapped by Alex along with pretty much all the bones in her body.
No wonder it's said that women in love drop their IQ below freezing point.
"No no no don't, It can't, How? Why? No...No."
It's just her fantasy did not last that long. It took her a second to process what Grace said but when it happened, She broke down.
She was in denial, It couldn't be happening, She couldn't lose, No never, She was not willing to give up Alex.
How can she able to do it? Not only her body but her heart and even her soul were imprinted by him.
He is only one for her, It's easier to separate from her own soul than to forget him.
'But...I made a bet, I have to take losses.'
This is a stupid thing to do and she knows this is stupid and yet she still does it. Not knowing the reason behind taking her side was all thanks to the Female Leads halo and luck.
Grace just gives reason to her heart that maybe because Sandra helped her right now with her mother, So she is just paying off the kindness shown by Sandra to her.
It's just when she was about to speak, she saw the face of Alex with that familiar look, then she looked down at the phone in her hand given by him to monitor the timer.
Then it clicked her and she swallowed back the words she was about to say and gave a look to Alex then she spoke.
"Alex, When you gave me this timer, You made me a reviewer of this bet, So with that authority, I declare this match as invalid."
Grace after getting confirmation from Alex, She with a loud voice declared that their bet was invalid making Liza stand beside her dumbfounded.
Liza was speechless, how come Grace changed party suddenly? Aren't they supposed to be with Alex? Why is she doing this in favor of Sandra?
She too wanted to help Sandra but by trying to persuade Alex to change his mind, not directly go against him like this, Aren't this direct knife in the back?
Liza got the attention of Grace and asked her in a gesture meaning of her actions.

Grace : (???)
Grace pretended she had not seen the angry face of Liza, She just looked at Sandra who did not get the meaning of her words but even in her muddled state this information sank in her head.
Her face brightened like a sun as she looked towards Grace with her hope-filled eyes wanting to confirm what she heard was right.
"Grace, Wh....What did you sai-Ahhhh!!"
Sandra was excited, In fact she was so excited that she even forget about her leg and tried to move towards Grace which made her put pressure on the leg giving her bone-crushing pain.
