Chapter 249 247. Déjà Vu
?'What just happened?'
This was the question reverberating in the mind of Sandra. She is dumbfounded by the thing which happen so fast that she didn't even see how or what event took place.
Right now she was feeling a cold sensation in her body, Which after she took a second she find out the cold floor of the ward.
She is currently laying face first one cold tiles of the ward making her stupefied.
She clearly remember that she was about to land her strong palm on Alex body but just before it could make contact, Her vision turned upside down.
And then she blanked out, The next thing she remember that she was laying face down on the floor.
"How?"
After all this sink in Sandra she quickly stood up in embankment then with a little stern, hard and confused tone asked Alex.
He was close to her when that happen, So he might have seen who did this to her.
"I would be more than happy to answer you but I feel like I should remind you that time is still running, So decide what you wants to do."
Alex did not even look at Sandra, He just checking his watch and nails, not bothered by Sandra even the slightest bit.
Even when he answered her, He didn't look at her, As if he was more concerned about breaking his already short nails than his fight with Sandra.
But that was all on surface, He in his heart barely held himself back from burst out laughing and he would have if not for that would not suit his ML role.
Though sad for that part, he was quite happy with the result, He underestimated Sandra and top of his Immortal level martial art skill.
Before he was still a little uneasy about fighting with skills of FL but when the fight started all that worry vanished.
"...I'll figure it out later."
Sandra didn't know why she was pissed of by his uncaring tone but she was, She was already confused so these words of his like water sprinkled on the hot pan.
She decided to stop holding back, Now she wanted to land a hint on him as soon as possible and so she once again lunged forward.
Alex was lost in his thoughts wondering how can such a broken being like FL exist in this world, didn't there would be some power to make sure this didn't happen. What about power scaling and all.
He was curious but because of that he didn't pay attention to Sandra but that didn't matter as history just repeated itself.
One moment Sandra was about to land a punch on Alex and the right next moment she was on that familiar cold floor in exactly the same pose as before.
Sandra was in same state right now as she started as, right to the same pose giving her Déjà vu.
'HOW?!!!!'
That's all she could able to ask herself as she once again standing up ready to attack but then she saw it.
Before she didn't paid Alex much attention as she didn't think of him any threat but now that things are different her survival instincts kick in.
And then he finally saw it shcking her to her core, momentary stunning herself in place.
She didn't see it wrong, Even though right now Alex standing uncaringly giving so many opening her instincts were telling her there was none.
There is no place or opening for her to attack him, He look like a impenetrable fort impossible to break in.
"Absolute defence."
Sandra in utter shock muttered this to her in disbelief.
